"Eman, please forgive us for coming here without prior notice," Rossbert opened up after Eman sat down along with everyone.
He looked at Rossbert. He looked fine and healthy. On that night, he was on the verge of dying. If he didn’t arrive right on ti at that mont, he would have lost his life in that fight against the demonized enemy.
"Honestly, this is a big surprise for and my sister..." He calmly responded to what Rossbert said.
He noticed everyone had a face that showed an expression that they understood his surprise. Even if they were in his shoes right now, they would probably feel very surprised as well if soone they didn’t expect to co was suddenly in the living room of their house early in the morning.
"...But I’m happy to see everyone is here," Eman added with a faint smile.
After a slight pause, he continued saying, "And even more, I did not expect that you would co here together with Mister Klaus," he glanced in Mr. Claus’ direction.
He didn’t see Mr. Klaus in rc Town that night, but he heard from Azure that he was in the carriage he saved. And it seed like the city mayor and Zennie were in that carriage too. So, seeing them here together was understandable at so point. He believed they knew each other by now or maybe since before. Well, he wasn’t sure about the latter.
That Klaus said with a wide grin. "Man, I never thought they knew you, so I was really surprised when they ntioned you, kid, haha."
Hearing Rossbert’s casual way of calling Eman earlier, and seeing that the kid didn’t seem to feel bothered about it, Klaus also settled on calling him the usual way.
Their conversation was briefly paused for a mont when Claire and Eina arrived and served them hot drinks. Since it was still around 8 am, the tea, and coffee were served along with crunchy crust bread and cookies.
At Least they have cookies and bread in this world. The taste, well, they are average. What he ant by average is that nothing, in particular, is worth noticing.
In front of him, there was Rossbert, Zennie, and Klaus sitting in that order. Whereas, there was only him on the other side of the table. When Eman ntioned where her attendant was, Zennie said that Miss Lizz was waiting outside. And it also seems like Klaus was accompanied by Niel, who was also waiting outside.
He guessed they ca here not because of just a simple visit but for another reason. Once all the drinks and snacks were served, the conversation flowed naturally.
Zennie imdiately took the initiative, which surprised him. He also noticed her agitation coming out, which she skillfully hid the whole ti. She could pass as an actor in his forr world with that talent. Although her pretty face could hide her agitation just by showing a simple smile, that didn’t apply to Eman who can see a weird icon under her health bar.
’She’s under a great deal of stress. That must be the reason why she looked a little paler right now,’ Eman thought.

Zennie then started telling him the reason for their visit. Although she was shy and skeptical, the desire to save the people of their town overca her. And she was already running out of ti. In fact, they were already past the given ti for this trip.

Zennie told him everything. Their reason for coming to the capital and the situation of her hotown.

Eman had no idea that she was carrying such a heavy burden of worry this whole ti. And to think she endured it despite being a newbie to the outside world, what an admirable woman she was.
Without beating around the bush, she asked him if he knew soone who wears a strange-looking mask. Hearing that, Eman had to act as if he was a bit puzzled by her question.
"A mysterious person who is wearing a strange-looking mask? Hmm... let recall..." He asked for a mont to think and try to rember.
Honestly, he felt guilty for lying to them, but it was necessary to do this. He made a face as if he was pondering.
And after a short mont of silence, he opened his mouth again as if rembering sothing.
"Indeed, I think I’ve t soone like that months ago. In one of the pubs there in Sandstone City, I t a mysterious person who was wearing a strange-looking mask. It seed that was the cue that everyone was waiting to hear from him, because right after they heard what he said, not only Zennie but everyone looked excited.
"So you’re really the person ntioned by that mysterious savior!" It was Klaus who suddenly scread that.
"Savior?" He gawked. He didn’t expect to hear that word.
"That’s right, Eman. That person saved the whole town of rc Town from a monster invasion a couple of days ago," Rossbert said.
"Eh... s-sothing like that happened?" He asked, embodying his lies that could not be taken back.
"Yes, kid."
"Please, Lord Eman, please save our people in Rothsport!"
Zennie suddenly bowed her head.
With her lead, they asked him if he could help them to ask the rchant to sell dicine to them.
A bead of sweat trailed down Eman’s face. He was pondering how to respond.
