Erik, who was still holding Alan who was now unconscious in his arms, bowed his head and then said sincerly to Es: "I apologise for Alan's behavior, he already tends to be overprotective, so now that he's found out I'm carrying our child, he must have panicked when he saw all these n coming towards us ard."
Elias then asked Erik as Es seed to be having trouble digesting all this information: "Did you see what Alan did?"
Erik nodded and said: "I didn't just see it, I felt it too... Alan connected to our bond to tap into its energy but then our bond reacted on its own when it sensed Alan's panic and it was our bond that drained Alan's energy reserve to create a kind of shockwave that pushed all these n back at once."
Miguel frowned after hearing this, but after checking, Erik was right and Alan's energy reserve was practically depleted... It was totally unthinkable... It was their bond after all and not Alan who had done this! He really thought that it was Alan who had used the energy of their bond to pushed back all Es's guards at once, but he never thought that it could be their bond that had used Alan energy to protect them.
Erik then rummaged through Alan's clothes and pulled out his magic bag.
Alan always had all sorts of potions with him and Erik conjured up a healing potion of legendary grade and helped him drink it.
Ashton's redy that Kevin had given him earlier should still be working so once Alan's energy reserve was full again it shouldn't be long before he regained consciousness.
Erik felt really exhausted after vomiting so much, but at least his stomach wasn't contracted like before so the pain and his stomach ache almost disappeared.
He suddenly looked up as Es ca towards them and Elias imdiately joined her to protect her, just in case their Dual Cultivation bond started to act up again on its own.
When Es asked for his hand, Erik gave it to her and fortunately their bond had returned to its original state, that of a golden rope, and had wrapped itself around them again, seemingly no longer wishing to attack anyone.
Es listened to the heartbeat on his wrist and heard the echo of another heartbeat, weaker than Erik's but beating much faster... This boy was indeed pregnant and the only possible explanation was that the creation of this life was directly linked to their Dual Cultivation bond.
Es then asked him: "Can you stand up? I'd like to take a closer look to see if your baby is doing well and to try to find out when the birth will take place."
Es then said to him, when she saw him looking at Alan who was still unconscious: "You can take him with you, the room I'm taking you to rest in has a very large bed, you'll be able to lay him right next to you without any problem."
Erik nodded, but when he tried to get up and take Alan in his arms, another contraction took him and the pain was so intense that Elias had to support him for the ti it lasted and when the pain subsided Elias then said to him: "Let carry Alan, just this once, Es absolutely has to check you and the baby as soon as possible."
Erik finally nodded and Miguel ca to join them after being sure that Es's guards had no serious injuries and that the temporary paralysis that had prevented them from getting up until now was already fading.
Miguel then asked Es, following them: "Is it normal that Erik is already having contractions and vomiting?"
Es then looked at him and pointed to the room closest to where they were and she said to him: "There's nothing normal about this man's pregnancy, which is why I need more ti to give you a diagnosis, so please be patient.

Miguel then rembered what Es had told them about the effects he might have while he would be pregnant from Elias and he said: "When you gave us the Divine fertility potion you told us that the one who will be expecting the baby will be more vulnerable than usual.
You told us that I may have nausea and that the use of my energy reserve may be disturbed by the growth of our baby.
You also said that I could lose the baby if I get punched in the stomach or if I use too much of my energy reserve, that intense fatigue could lead to a miscarriage… Will Erik be exposed to the sa effects?"
Es then said: "That's right, Erik will be exposed to the sa dangers as you when you beco pregnant, except that it is less risky for him."

Es then told them after having taking her ti to observe the fetus: "Your baby is 2 weeks old and as a man you should be expecting him, or her, in two months or two and an half months at most."
