Kelan then ca to his senses and he hurriedly asked him before they joined the others back : “Wait, I wanted to ask you this before but I completely forgot… Why is the atmosphere here so tense, is it because of this Atlas ?”
Caleb put an arm around his shoulders and he told him as they joined the others : “When Atlas regains consciousness, we don’t know if he’ll be truly conscious or if he’ll be under the influence of the black particles.
Also, even though he apparently chose to protect Lena at all costs, and chose not to serve the Emperor of the Titans anymore, that doesn’t necessarily an he’ll be on our side, we have to be on guard with him because as you’ve seen it yourself, this Titan is extrely powerful.”
Kelan simply nodded, he knew that if Caleb really felt any danger he would imdiately send him to the prison dinsion, but since he was letting him stay with him, it ant that at least they hadn’t had any visions yet.
Caleb then asked him even though he suspected everyone was fine : “How are my brothers-in-law and father-in-law ?”
Kelan smiled at him and said : “Nolan and Erik ca back safely from the dinsion where the Titans had been sent and my father stayed under Kerry and Derek’s protection throughout the battle.”
Kelan smiled at the thought, Kerry had used the fact that they had to stay together to manage the coordination of all the soldiers but even his father had realized that he was protected more than he should be.
After the battle was over, he had talked to Kerry and Kerry had told him that Dilan, like Liam, was well respected among the demons, because it was thanks to him that many rebels had been spared.
It was Dilan who had continued to teach the new soldiers who guarded the border to differentiate the King’s soldiers from the rebels, and so, even so of the demons who had fought here with them tonight had been saved thanks to him.
Caleb then asked him a little puzzled when he saw that Kelan seed lost in thought : “And Alan ?”
Caleb knew that Kelan loved his little brother more than anything and now that they had finally found each other again, he longed to spend as much ti with him as possible to make up for all the years he hadn’t been able to see him.
So he thought it was strange that he didn’t ntion him. He was sure that Alan had stayed in the courtyard of the Royal Palace, because he was not yet strong enough to fight against Titans or the n of the Goddesses so Kelan should have been able to see him.
When Kelan heard Caleb question his face lit up and he told him : “Alan was really great, you should have seen him, he was amazing, he single-handedly handled all the injured.
He healed the physical wounds of the humans with the light particles and at the sa ti he gave the healing potions to the demons who were injured.
He gave them healing potions according to the severity of their wounds and he was never wrong.
With our n I protected the area where he was, and we could hear him giving orders all the ti to those who were bringing the wounded, he was really very efficient.
I don’t know how many lives he saved during the night, but he saved a lot of them for sure.”
Caleb couldn’t help but hug him because he was so cute like that, it was rare that Kelan showed so much enthusiasm and for that alone he was very grateful to Alan.
Since Kelan had found his little brother back he was more alive, it was as if he was finally allowing himself to be happy and he even had to admit that sotis he was a little jealous of Alan because previously it was only when they were alone that Kelan showed this part of his personality.
Miguel then said drawing their attention to him : “Alan has preferred to heal the wounded rather than use the new spells he just created, that’s strange, I thought he would have preferred to show his might.”
Kelan then said, still smiling : “I know, I asked him about that too, and he told that it wasn’t fighters or mages that were needed in this battle, but healers.
He told that he noticed very quickly that no one was taking care of the wounded and that once everyone would have used up the potions that Kevin had given them, the chaos will start and there will be many deaths.
So he decided to take care of them before the situation got out of hand because after all he is one of the few humans who know how to use the light particles…
Besides, he told that Kevin must have guessed that he would choose to take care of the wounded because he had left him a large amount of healing potions of legendary grade.”
Kelan then added as he looked at Miguel hoping that he would help his little brother : “He also told that he wasn’t very happy with his performance and that if he could have healed the internal wounds with the light particles he would have been able to save more legendary grade healing potions and he wouldn’t have had to bother our father and Kerry to go and get so for him.”
Miguel then said smiling too : “Alan is really full of surprises, and if your brother really wants to learn how to heal internal wounds, he’s going to have to increase his Perception Stat considerably.
Alan is still very young after all, but thanks to his Dual Cultivation bond with Erik, we may be able to try another way.
I had already planned to supervise him myself with Ian and Jordan anyway, all three of them have huge potential and I’m really looking forward to start training them, I’m sure it will be very interesting.”
