But rather than ask Ian how he had evolved into a divine creature, he asked him instead : “Are these Drakonits on our side now ?”
Ian said just to reassure him : “Yes, they are with us now, I will take full responsibility for their futur behavior.”
Kevin just nodded and said to all of them : “Axel and I will try to sort this out as soon as possible. Be ready to intervene, I will contact you through the communication stones if we need you.”
Liam wanted to protest after all Kevin was their rightful King and he shouldn’t put himself in unnecessary danger but Ian grabbed his arm and said to him using their telepathic link, ‘This is sothing they both need to do, Kevin needs to prove he’s strong enough to rule and Axel is his husband, he needs to prove himself too.’
Liam simply nodded and watched as Kevin and Axel walked towards the forty or so soldiers who were just waiting for their King’s command to attack.
Kevin stopped with Axel halfway between the two camps and before he even started talking he showed the pentagram mark he had on his chest to these soldiers, and then with Axel they showed them their mark of the Union.
Kevin finally said to them with a loud and clear voice : “If you lay down your weapons, no harm will be done to you. You can even continue to be palace guards if you deserve it.”
Of the forty soldiers 9 dropped their weapons and they ca to kneel before Kevin before saying to him : “Long live the King.”
These soldiers were waiting for their rightful King to finally appear and now that they had seen the mark of the pentagram with their own eyes on Kevin’s chest, there was no doubt in their hearts.
These n were not palace guards, they were so of the best border guards but the current King had threatened to kill their entire family if they did not fight for him during this battle.
This scene was still a bit surreal for Kevin, but it would have to get used to it and Nolan then quickly joined him before saying : “Kevin, these soldiers were all soldiers under my father’s orders, please let take care of them.”
Kevin just nodded and he told him, “Take them with you then, and as I said, don’t worry, I won’t punish them, if they were under Dilan’s orders, then he will be the one to deal with them.”
Nolan thanked him and he motioned for the soldiers to follow him, they imdiately joined the others to let Kevin and Axel handle the situation here as they wished.
The King stepped forward a little still surrounded by his loyal soldiers and then he said : “You are all just a bunch of idiots, all the bearers of the pentagram mark have always been mages, you who are an Absolute Warrior you are just an impostor who wants to take over the territory of the humans.”
Kevin then made appear in his hand a sword totally golden that shone like the sun and he also made appear 7 small spheres that were each the color of one elent, he then said looking at the soldiers, totally ignoring the King : “Soldiers, this is your last chance, after this I will consider you traitors and will have no rcy on you.”
6 other soldiers decided to lay down their weapons and as they went to kneel before Kevin, the King made a sword appear in each of his hands and he launched two attacks simultaneously.
A whirlwind of water and lightning headed at high speed towards the soldiers who had just betrayed him, and another whirlwind of fire mixed with particles of darkness headed directly towards Kevin and Axel.
Kevin smirked and decided to use the exact sa spells as this pseudo-King to counter his attacks.
He threw the sword at Axel and he raised both hands in the air, the sa whirlwinds appeared and made contact with the King’s.
Axel then moved so fast that it was as if he had teleported and he ca to stand in front of the 6 soldiers to protect them from the shockwave that the whirlwinds created when they collided together.
He imdiately ordered them : “Go to join the others if you don’t want to die !”
And the soldiers who had all stumbled because of the fear of being hit by one of these whirlwinds imdiately got up and they didn’t forget to kneel when they were close enough to Kevin to take an oath before joining the others.
All the soldiers who had surrendered did not regret it because who would have believed that their new King was so powerful.
Not only was he an Absolute Warrior but he could also use the 7 elents and he didn’t even use any weapons or Talismans to counter the current King’s whirlwinds.
They were all amazed to see this and his life partner was also terrifying.
All the guards already knew Axel, at least by reputation, he was the genius of the Sun Sect fighters who beat all the geniuses of the capital academy and other sects every year, everyone wanted to recruit him but Axel had always remained loyal to the Sun Sect.
The guards also knew that he was a shapeshifter and that his wolf’s fur was entirely black, but what they didn’t know was the aning of the golden symbols that seed to run all over his body.
When they saw him use a golden shield to protect the 6 soldiers who had just been targeted by the King, they were speechless, his power far exceeded anything they had ever seen.
As the soldiers who had surrendered all gathered around the n of their new King ready to fight this ti on the side of the bearer of the pentagram mark, Kevin’s whirlwinds that were fueled by a continuous flow of particles began to push those of the King back.
