Connor nodded and Evy looked at the other demons and said with her mama bear aura that was waking up : “How could you let him co tonight, he must be resting… Aren’t he your uncle and your husband ?”
Connor then said to her : “I was the one who insisted on coming, and they didn’t have the heart to refuse anything. We want to help the humans as your rightful King helped to free us from our despotic King.”
Evy sighed helplessly and she told him : “Don’t you think you’ve done enough already ? With Xander you’re the one who united the organization with the rebellion, and now that you’re finally free after all this ti, you should just take care of yourself and your family.”
She then added, smiling at him sadly : “But now I finally understand why Xander defended you so much, he said that you would never give up and that you would fight until peace between our races was established… And he wasn’t wrong. After your presud death, your nephews with the help of your husband continued to fight for what you believed in and… At the very end of this conflict, you are still there, offering your help.”
She bowed her head and said sincerely to him : “It is truly an honor to et you.”

Evy then looked at the last demon who was a little aside talking with Alan and Erik and she asked Liam curious: “And him, who is he ?”
Liam smiled at her and he said proudly : “He is the one I wanted to personally introduce you but I can understand that eting Connor and the leaders of the rebellion was already a shock for you.”
And when he saw Evy raising an eyebrow he told her finally : “He is the rightful King of the demons and my husband, it’s Ian,Evy.”
Evy was once again speechless and she then said to him: “Damn, I need to sit down and have a drink… No, actually I need a bottle.”
Liam laughed and so did Solomon and the others which caught the attention of Ian who ca over to introduce himself and just like Connor he said to Evy: “I’m really pleased to et you, Liam always speaks highly of you.”
Evy shook his hand and thanked him and she couldn’t help but think that maybe she had made that joke to lighten the mood of everyone, but it was true that she wished she could have a drink because this evening was truly full of surprises.
Liam patted her on the shoulder and after that they all went to join Kevin, and Solomon imdiately asked him: “Kevin, can you put on the team that will be rescuing the Queen ?”
Kevin nodded and he told him: “Don’t worry, since I need Connor with , I figured that Derek would feel better if you ca along too.”
Solomon thanked him and Kerry saw that Derek wanted to intervene so he said to him: “Uncle Derek, let Kevin tell us his plan and then you can ask your questions.”
Kerry then looked at Kevin and he asked him: “Are we waiting for more people or can we start ?”

He had said this while looking at Derek to see if he was okay with that and when he saw him nod, he smiled at him and so he continued : “Kerry, I need you to lead the frontal assault on the palace, you’re the one with the most experience to carry out this mission, Derek you’ll stay with him and Dilan and Nolan will assist you with their n.
This is the ti to show that you are really a genius strategist, make sure you keep them busy to distract them, don’t take unnecessary risks, we’ll join you as soon as we can.”
He pointed to Caleb and Kelan and he said to him: “Don’t hesitate to ask them for any information you need, I’m counting on you.”
Kerry nodded, he didn’t think Kevin would give him that kind of assignnt but he was glad he gave him a chance to prove his worth.
