Be they human or demon, most believe that all mbers of the dragon race can transform into their original forms.

That assumption isn’t entirely wrong—but it isn’t entirely right either.

Since the victory of the all-race alliance army seven thousand years ago, the number of dragons has drastically decreased, becoming a fraction of what it was before the Evil God descended into the world.

To prevent extinction, the Dragon Ancestor took mates from various dragon subraces—and the strategy proved effective.

Today, the dragon population has stabilized and is no longer at risk of extinction.

However, with peace firmly established and no more wars to fight, most dragons have chosen to live in humanoid forms, as their original forms are large and impractical for daily life.

This shift didn’t stop with the first few generations—it continued steadily for seven thousand years.

As a result, many lost the ability to return to their true forms.

Now, only a small fraction—no more than four percent—can still transform into their original bodies.

It’s a clear sign of just how much peace has changed them over the millennia.

Of course, this doesn’t apply to those with special bloodlines, like Athena... or Leon.

As the only human in the world with the purest dragon blood, Leon can naturally transform into a dragon.

However, it was extrely difficult and took ti to master. Of course, difficult didn’t an impossible.

And this ti, he was going to prove it.

"Dragon Transformation!" Leon shouted, slamming his palms together.

*Boom!*

A golden aura burst from his body, distorting the space around him.

A storm erupted with Leon at its center. The sea churned wildly, sending waves as high as five ters crashing outward in all directions.

His body radiated a golden light that shot hundreds of ters into the sky.

Monts later, the light faded—revealing Leon’s new form: a one-hundred-and-twenty-ter-tall golden dragon.

Twin golden horns rose from his head, and a pair of massive wings stretched tens of ters wide.

Golden scales covered his entire body like natural armor.

His eyes, sharp and piercing, glead coldly in gold.

"How could Master possibly master Dragon Transformation so quickly?"

Within her dinsion of consciousness, Miranda covered her mouth in shock.

Dragon Transformation was an innate technique, exclusive to the dragon race—sothing only they were ever ant to master.

Yet in this era, even many dragons had lost the ability, as their bodies had grown too accustod to humanoid forms.

Of course, she knew Leon possessed the purest dragon blood in the world—a direct inheritance from the Dragon Progenitor, Altair Draconis.

Based on her calculations, he shouldn’t have been able to use this technique for at least another six months.

She had good reason to believe that. All this ti, she had never seen Leon undergo any specialized training related to the dragon powers flowing through his veins.

Given how occupied he was with matters concerning hidden races such as elves and dwarves, his ti for training should have been even more limited.

But clearly, she had been wrong—Leon had already mastered Dragon Transformation!

"Wait..." Miranda’s brows knit together as she murmured, "There’s turbulence in his aura... Could it be... He hasn’t fully mastered it yet?"

It was a reasonable assumption. Leon’s dragon aura felt unstable—chaotic even—as if his control over the transformation wasn’t yet complete.

Still, she couldn’t help but feel amazed. The fact that Leon could activate Dragon Transformation in such a short ti was nothing short of extraordinary.

*Roar!*

Leon let out a soul-shaking roar. At the sa ti, he stared at his new form with a look filled with awe and exhilaration.

"So this is what it feels like... to be in dragon form? Incredible." He chuckled to himself, full of excitent.

When he first rode on Athena’s dragon body, Leon had often wondered what it would feel like to beco a dragon himself—to have a massive body and a pair of giant wings.

Now, he finally got to experience it firsthand. And admittedly... it felt incredible.

However, he also felt a heavy pressure weighing on his soul, as if maintaining the dragon form was rapidly draining his strength.

Well, that was to be expected—it was his first ti. Once he got used to it, this kind of fatigue would surely fade.

Refocusing his attention on Hydra, Leon steadied himself in the air and launched forward.

anwhile, Hydra appeared montarily shaken by Leon’s sudden transformation.

But it had no ti to be stunned—Leon was already closing in fast.

*Fwoosh!*

The fire-elent Hydra head opened its mouth wide. In an instant, a massive fireball ford, spanning tens of ters in diater.

A mont later, the fireball shot toward Leon—but the attack didn’t end there. More fireballs followed, along with a barrage of strikes from the other eight heads.

Facing the onslaught, Leon remained unfazed. Instead of dodging, he surged forward with his massive body.

*Boom!*

A thunderous explosion rippled through the air as the attacks slamd into him. So of his golden scales cracked under the impact.

But they caused only minor abrasions—barely enough to register as pain.

Dragon scales were renowned for their durability and strength. Their legendary toughness had been known for thousands of years, both among humans and demons.

In fact, many rchants in human cities hunted dragon scales to craft valuable armor.

*Scrk!*

When Leon and the Hydra were just ters apart, he suddenly opened his enormous jaws—and tore off one of the creature’s heads.

*Roar!*

Agonized roars erupted from the remaining eight heads. Consud by rage, they launched a fresh wave of attacks.

One of the Hydra’s heads possessed a spatial ability. It opened its mouth and released a supersonic force that instantly fractured the space around Leon.

Fortunately, Leon had anticipated this. He quickly activated his body’s defensive chanism, deflecting the attack just in ti.

Then, he retaliated—opening his mouth as a golden sphere of energy ford and fired straight toward the space-elent Hydra’s head.

*Whoosh... Boom!*

The energy ball struck with a deafening impact, obliterating the head in an instant.

Not wasting the opportunity, Leon imdiately followed up with a flurry of attacks on the remaining heads.

At last, the Hydra’s body burst apart, its flesh scattering across the sea like floating debris.

Leon’s dragon form began to flicker, and monts later, it vanished completely—returning him to his human form.

Clicking his tongue in mild annoyance, he muttered, "Being a dragon is way too fun. Looks like I’ll have to train that ability again soti..."
