"So this is the building, huh? It's really big..." Leon muttered, nodding slowly.
Before him stood a towering structure that seed to pierce the sky.
He wasn't sure of its exact height, but he estimated it to be around twenty ters.
The building had a unique design, blending ancient architecture with a modern touch, making it stand out from the other structures nearby.
To enter, there was a short flight of stairs, each step covered in high-quality ceramic tiles.
"I'm really curious about what's inside..." Leon said, rubbing his chin. "Is this just a branch office for the administrative needs of the Eclipse Trading House in Morvhal City, or does it serve another purpose?"
Driven by curiosity, he climbed the stairs and stepped inside.
Imdiately, he found himself in a vast space filled with neatly arranged goods.
The items included basic necessities such as at, vegetables, and more. Many people bustled about, most of them busy shopping.
For so reason, the lively scene reminded him of a large supermarket from his previous life.
"Good afternoon, sir. Is there anything I can help you with?"
Right then, a soft female voice spoke from behind him.
Leon quickly turned around and saw a beautiful woman with a ponytail smiling warmly at him.
She wore the formal uniform of the building's staff, clearly marking her as an employee.
"Good afternoon," Leon replied gently. "I was just..."
He was about to state his purpose but quickly swallowed his words and anded them.
"Could you show around this building? It's my first ti here, and I'm curious about the area."
Hearing his request, the woman looked slightly surprised. She glanced up at Leon's handso face and couldn't help but feel a little flustered.
"Then... I'll accompany you," she replied nervously.
And so, Leon was guided by her around the building.
"This is the first floor, sir," the woman explained politely, pointing to the neatly arranged fresh vegetables and at. "This area specializes in providing produce and at for custors. Other necessities are available in the section over there."
Leon gave a small nod behind her, signaling that he understood.
Next, the woman led him to the second floor, where household furniture such as cabinets, tables, and more were displayed.
"Oh? You also sell furniture?" Leon asked, a little surprised.
"Of course, sir," the woman replied with a hint of pride. "Our Eclipse Trading House provides everything from basic needs to secondary goods. We don't manufacture them ourselves; instead, we purchase them from local craftsn at fair prices. That way, we help support them while making a profit."
Leon couldn't help but smile at her explanation.
What the Eclipse Trading House was doing was precisely what he had expected.
They could monopolize, but they kept things within reasonable limits, ensuring the people weren't hard. This way, stability could still be maintained.
After touring the second floor, the woman led Leon up to the next level.
This floor turned out to specialize in various war equipnt, such as swords, spears, and more.
"Weapons?" Leon's eyebrows raised slightly, surprise returning to him.
The woman nodded with a smile. "Yes, the third floor is where we sell weapons. If anyone is looking for new ones, we have them available. What's more, the quality is exceptionally high and never disappoints."
Leon took a deep breath and smiled, sowhat helplessly.
The Eclipse Trading House was even more impressive than he had imagined.
He walked over to a sword on display and picked it up.
Running his fingers along the blade, he nodded in appreciation. "This is indeed a high-quality weapon."
Weapons were classified into three tiers: low, dium, and high quality.
The difference lay in their durability and sharpness.
If a high-quality sword clashed with a low-quality one, it was clear that the inferior blade would be easily crushed and damaged.
This was why soldiers' weapons were mostly of high quality.
For those who enjoyed hunting or similar activities, however, low- or dium-grade weapons were often sufficient.
Of course, this difference in quality also influenced the price.
Leon turned his head toward the price tag and glanced at the listed amount: two gold coins.
For him, it was a small sum, but for ordinary people, it was a significant amount.
It would likely take months of savings—without food or other expenses—for them to afford a high-quality weapon.
Well, that wasn't surprising, considering the materials used to make these weapons: mithril with a touch of adamantine.
Honestly, two gold coins was already a bargain for a weapon of this caliber. In Astralyn, the price would probably be closer to four gold coins.
With the woman's guidance, Leon continued his tour of the building, gaining a more profound understanding of its offerings.
When they reached the last floor open to custors, the woman turned and smiled.
"Very well, sir. This is the final floor you can enter. Beyond this is the staff and officials' area, which is off-limits to custors," she said respectfully.
Leon nodded slightly. "In that case, could you please take to the leader of this branch of the Eclipse Trading House? I have sothing important to discuss with them."
Her eyes widened in surprise. "Sir, this..."
She wanted to say more, but Leon quickly cut her off.
"Don't worry. To be honest, I ca here to et your leader, not to shop. So, please do a favor."
The woman paused, her expression doubtful. Leon's appearance and deanor suggested he wasn't an ordinary person—or an imposter.
Moreover, she could sense the sincerity in his words, which eventually led her to relent.
"Very well, sir. Please wait a mont while I call my boss. However, I can't guarantee he'll be willing to see you," she said.
Leon didn't mind and simply replied, "I'll wait."
Five minutes later, the woman returned with a downcast expression. Beside her stood a handso man with glasses, dressed in a black suit.
He wore a stern expression, the kind that imdiately made one think of him as cold and indifferent.
"Are you the one who wanted to see ?" he asked, stopping a ter in front of Leon and giving him a suspicious look.
Leon didn't show any sign of irritation at the rude manner. Instead, he smiled casually and replied, "Yes, I'm the one who wanted to see you."
The man scanned Leon from head to toe before slowly nodding.
"You don't look like a swindler," he remarked with a stern tone. "Now, tell your purpose. I don't have much ti."
The woman, sensing the conversation was likely to involve sothing important, decided to leave them alone.
Once she was gone, Leon spoke up. "Take to et the leader of your Trading House."
