Jiang Ruolan had no strength left in her body. She could only glare at Wei Donghai.
Suddenly, she saw Wei Donghai hurriedly put on his clothes and belt, picked up his things, and ran out of the room. He did not even lock the door.
Jiang Ruolan leaned against the corner of the bed, her terrified eyes staring at the creaking and swaying door. Her entire body was ice-cold, and the humiliation that she had long forgotten deep in her heart assaulted her mind again, leaving her body powerless.
Jiang Ruolan wanted to get up and straighten her clothes, to find another chance to escape, but as she gathered her strength and sat down a little, she suddenly heard a few footsteps coming from outside the door. Faintly, Jiang Ruolan saw Xian Zihao take off his jacket, blood faintly seeped out from the shoulder of his shirt, and when she wanted to speak, she was already powerless.

"Ruolan." Xian Zihao's voice was so dry that it felt murky and biting cold. He hugged Jiang Ruolan tightly and whispered softly in her ear, "It's alright. Everything is over. Don't be afraid."
