Xian Zihao's mouth twitched. Looking at Jiang Ruolan's expression, she did not agree with his way of revealing the truth.
Jiang Ruolan was about to speak when a lodious ringtone suddenly rang.
It was Xian Zihao's cell phone.
Jiang Ruolan quietly sighed in relief and sat back down. As she continued to rub the back of her head, she glanced at Xian Zihao at an angle that Qin Gengxin couldn't see.
Sure enough, his expression didn't look too good.
She was doing this for everyone's benefit. Escaping was not a solution. She understood that, but she really didn't want anything to happen. It wasn't like she hadn't seen Qin Gengxin's violent temper before.
"I'll take a call." Xian Zihao glanced at his cell phone, got up, and left. Before he left, he swept a glance at Jiang Ruolan with a profound expression, which caused her to lower her eyes and avoid his gaze quickly.
Qin Gengxin did not say anything. He waited until Xian Zihao walked out of the room before turning his head to look at Jiang Ruolan, who was still rubbing the back of her head.
Jiang Ruolan knew that Qin Gengxin must have sensed sothing amiss, so she finally stopped rubbing her head.
She understood that her unusual behavior was unjustifiable. Not to ntion a cunning person like Qin Gengxin, even a fool sitting here could tell that sothing was wrong with her behavior.
"I need to go to the bathroom." She didn't want to be too obvious, but sitting here was actually the best way. Once she leaves, Qin Gengxin would probably speculate even more, but if she didn't go find Xian Zihao quickly, no matter how hard she tried, she wouldn't be able to stop him from telling the truth.

Before Qin Gengxin could finish his sentence, she had already dragged open the door of the room and ran away like a wisp of smoke.

Jiang Ruolan circled around the hall, but she didn't see Xian Zihao.

As Jiang Ruolan listened to his clear voice and walked past him, she didn't expect Xian Zihao to hang up the phone and look at her suddenly.
Before she could open her mouth, Xian Zihao had dragged her into the quiet corner of the corridor and pressed her back against the wall.

Before Jiang Ruolan could finish speaking, Xian Zihao lowered his head and kissed the newly opened lip. He punished her by biting her lip. The slight pain made her cry out softly.
