Words are like a gun, once shot, it’s irreversible.

You can reload it, buy new magazines, but the bullet that was shot is already gone.

And just like that, her words and actions had already managed to hurt .

I an, I ain’t any pathetic little drama queen who will cry about it or throw tantrums, I already accepted her apology.

But it doesn’t an that I can be casual with her, or trust her like I did at first.

Who knows, she might find sothing else to judge about.

"So... what are your plans now?" Ruby asked awkwardly after a few monts of silence.

"Nothing much, waiting for Claire, I guess." I shrugged, watching around the stall, observing the panicked looks in the eyes of guards and adventurers.

"Ah, I see." Ruby nodded and the silence returned.

She didn’t know what to say, and I was not in the mood to say anything either.

So, we both ended up gazing around, looking at the panic.

It was subtle, as the normal citizens and lower levelled adventurers were casually straddling around the area without any worry.

Obviously, the entrance of the labyrinth was closed off as well, and no one was being allowed in.

*Buzzzz*

My phone buzzed in my pocket, a ssage that I wasn’t too glad about receiving.

// Naomi White: Roll numbers 1, 49, 24, 65 and 90 are required to et the class teacher right now, or she will deduct the marks. //

I blinked.

This ssage was from a group called Unofficial AM-A, so it’s safe to assu it’s from my college.

I hurriedly opened the ssage, scrolling through the chats until I found a random docunt containing the roll list of my class.

Fuck...

// 25AM1001 - Aaron Cross //

// 25AM1002 - Abel White //

// 25AM1003 - Adrian Wheeler //

Yep. I was roll number 1.

Yep. I needed to be there unless I wanted to lose my marks.

What a drag! Why is my college working like normal when there is sothing weird happening in the labyrinth!?

Though thinking about it, it’s normal. Colleges are a place for lower level people who prefer to live a harmless life, and those people won’t care about what’s happening in the labyrinth.

The authorities will handle what happens in the labyrinth.

I sigh, searching the na of my university on my phone to get the location.

It was a 15 minute drive away, but unluckily, I didn’t have a personal vehicle with myself.

I forgot to ask Claire about it as well.

So taxi, I gue–

"You’re going sowhere?" Ruby questioned suddenly, her eyes on my phone where the gps app was open.

"Yes, my college." I nod.

"How are you planning to go?"

"Cab, probably." I shrug, this ti I had a lot of money after all.

"I can drop you if you want," Ruby offered with a slight smile.

Is she still trying to hit on or what? I an it’s quite normal.

Many guys like to chase taken girls even when they know that they’re in a relationship already, as succeeding in wooing them leads to a huge boost in ego.

It’s like ’I can even get a girl who already liked soone else, I am the best’ kinda shit.

I hum, looking at her in contemplation.

The free ride sounded good.

"Is Klaus coming too?" I asked, looking at the smug bastard.

"I wish, but Suzy needs so help with arranging the things at her house..." Klaus gave a shy smile, looking at a white skinned, chubby woman who looked twice his age.

I am pretty sure that Klaus could be terd as a bop in this world, as bro got no standards.

He would fuck with a holess if she talks to him nicely.

I sighed in relief that he wasn’t coming, nodding at Ruby, "Let’s go then."

"Alright," Ruby jumped off the bench with vigor, too excited for soone who was going to be my driver.

We both walked towards her car, which was a white hatchback, looking average in every way.

So I was right. Ruby’s pockets weren’t that deep.

Though I wasn’t complaining. Her situation was still better than , who had no vehicle of my own.

"So you like art?" Ruby asked casually, looking at as she fired up the engine and began to drive.

"Hmm, kind of." I nodded, scrolling my gallery to hopefully find what my interests were.

After all, I can sense her next question from a mile away.

It was so basic that I didn’t even have to waste any brain cells on guessing it.

"What’s your course about?"

"Huh? It’s arts." I gave her a weird look, biding for ti till I could be sure of my answer.

For fuck’s sake though, how self obsessed was I?!

My whole gallery is filled with my pics, stupid scenery, cafes, and the shit people find ’aesthetic’.

Luckily, I was able to find so clues about my major.

"No I know it’s arts, I an uhh what do you study... like uhh," she fumbled, not finding the right words, "Yeah, right, what’s your major?"

"Ah, you were asking about my major." I nodded calmly, "It’s music."

"Ohh, that’s great. What do you play?"

"Guitar, still learning though." I shook my head, ntally cursing.

I didn’t even know the g of guitar. I had a little practice over the keyboard, but even that wasn’t that good either.

And I was a music major? For fuck’s sake.

What if they ask about music or sothing? I know nothing.

And my music taste was questionable, to top it off.

"Ohh, that’s amazing." Ruby cheered, smiling at .

She looked like a dangerous mix of cuteness and sexiness, as her figure was a bombshell, while face was oh so innocent.

She was still wearing that brazen bikini set that seed to glow in a pale fiery light.

But, our chat was interrupted when my phone began to ring.

*Don’t worry about a thing ’Cause every little thing, gonna be alright~*

// Nancy Lopez //

Sounds like a hot na, I humd and picked up the call.

"So you finally have the ti to pick up my call, huh?"
