Francisco suddenly stood up and walked towards Kelan, and whispered into his ears.
"We found a small warping device, I have never seen such a warping device in my whole life. However, we don't know where the warping device will lead us to" Francisco said with a grim expression.
Kelan's expression remained the sa as Francisco told him about the strange warping device. However, inwardly he was sowhat confused.
"Where was the warping device found?" He asked.
"It was found in a ruined temple that my colleagues and I explored. At first, we thought it was a valuable item. But when one of my curious companions decided to tap a strange button on the device. It let out a howling sound while the ring at the center began to glow blue light and expand. Before we could move away from the device, it was too late.
It sucked my friend in and he was gone right in front of our eyes." Francisco replied with a complicated expression on his face, causing Kelan to furrow his eyebrows.
"Wait a minute! Now, you an that your friend is gone forever?" Kelan asked with shock shown on his face.
Francisco shook his head and replied; "We don't know if he's dead or alive, but I'm pretty sure that Gador is still alive. It's just that we don't know where he was warped to" Francisco sighed and went back to sit on the chair.
Kelan placed his hands on his chin, silently pondering over what to do. He didn't feel any remorse or pity for Francisco's friend that got sucked by the strange device but he was wondering about how many secrets had yet to be uncovered.
He glanced at Francisco and asked; "Where is the warping device and when are we going to explore it?" Kelan said and he added, "Don't think that I'm following you because I want to save your friend. I'm going there for other reasons, I'm not a hero" Kelan scoffed.
Francisco nodded his head and sighed inwardly, as he was already expecting Kelan to give him that type of reply.
Kelan on the other hand was doubting if he should tell his won or not. If they knew that he was planning to do sothing dangerous, they would tie him and ground him till they leave the elven realm, after all, it wasn't like he could fight them all. His won are all strong, especially Morgan and Linda. Zuzana is also plentily strong but she's still angry at Kelan for absorbing her dragon essence.
"Damn, there's no way I'm going to tell them," Kelan thought and shook his head inwardly.
"We are going to explore the ruins in two days because soldiers have been investigating the temple ever since the disappearance of a student. We didn't tell the military that he was sucked by a warping device for so reason. I also feel like there's sothing hidden in that temple" Francisco said with a stern expression.
Kelan nodded his head and replied; "I see~ you are also a greedy person but you don't want to admit it. If you and your other companions truly cared for your friend, you would have inford the military instead of hiding the warping device from them." Kelan shrugged.
Francisco's face turned pale and he bowed his head in sha as Kelan accused him.
"Sigh... I don't know what you think of . But if it feels like I did that because of personal gains then you are wrong. I don't know how to explain it to you but you would have also done the sa if you were in my shoes" Francisco replied and stood up before walking towards the door and left.
Kelan chuckled when he saw Francisco leaving in anger. To say the least, he enjoyed getting him annoyed. While Kelan was lost in his thoughts. A thought suddenly flashed through his mind and he rembered how he promised Jojo to kill Lugard. At this point, Kelan's anger heightened and he muttered.
