"Why! Did you do that?" Kelan asked while his eyes were getting red, at this mont he wanted to kill Fransisco.
"I-I'm sorry, but that sword has possessed you, I wanted to kill you before you start killing innocent people" Francisco stuttered and started taking a few steps back.
"If I was possessed, I would have killed you! The mont I step my feet inside.
Instead of you trying to kill , what if that arrow actually hit ? Would you tell sorry after my death? " Kelan replied with an angry voice, he wanted to kill Francisco now and then without considering his excuse but he was holding back because of the military.
"Please understand, I did it out of fear," Francisco replied.
"Out of fear my boot" Kelan retorted.
"O-Ok, let explain why I did that"
"I hope you have a good reason," Kelan replied angrily. However, when he rembered how he wanted to kill Regan and Salee, he cald down.
"Okay, do you mind explaining how it was cursed?"
"Yes! Yes!" Francisco replied and wiped off the sweats on his forehead, secretly thanking his stars that Kelan wasn't possessed by the sword.
"You see, that sword was owned by my grandfather, he's from the Oswald family, that is why I am a fire ability user. However, during the war, my grandfather fought alongside the strongest supers during that ti, although he was an A-rank super, he was able to kill demons that were two or three ranks above him with the help of the active skill of his sword despite it being a low-level sword.
The active skill enabled him to peep 3 seconds into the future for 1 minute with a cooldown of 2 minutes. The man who picked up the sword imdiately beca possessed and slew his other comrades along with my grandfather.
He went on a killing spree and killed hundreds of people inside the camp before he was later killed and subsided.
However, sothing miraculous happened, when the man was killed, the sword began to deteriorate into tiny particles before it finally disappeared into thin air. People went into an uproar after the sword disappeared because many people had their eyes on it. Their eyes shone with greed, and they offered anybody who found the sword a huge amount of money as they believed that it was hiding sowhere.
However, no one knew what type of beast the sword was made from, which further heightened their greed and curiosity.
The sword suddenly appeared inside my dad's room one day, after missing for several years, my dad panicked when he realized that it was his father's cursed sword. He tried to destroy the sword but he was unable to put a scratch on it. Then he threw the sword away, far from where anyone could easily get it.
However, when he got back ho he would et the sword inside his room, no matter how far he threw it away, the sword would always co back.
According to what my dad told before he died, he said that the sword had its own conscience and he told never to use it. When my dad died the sword also started appearing in my stash or whenever I was in danger, like the day we were attacked by that strange boy, if you noticed, a sword appeared on my hand when I was sent flying but I quickly stored it inside my space ring.
I'm surprised by how you weren't possessed and if you are thinking about the reason why I'm poor, the reason is that after my grandfather's death, he was accused of keeping a sentience weapon and my father was cut off from the family.
The scars on my body were inflicted on by my dad whenever he was training and I went through a lot of trauma during my childhood. Once again, I'm sorry for attacking you" Francisco apologized.
Kelan nodded his head and sighed after hearing Francisco's boring yet captivating story.
He waved his hand and brought out the black sword.
"Take, this is yours, it's no longer cursed, don't ask how!" Kelan replied as he tossed the black sword to Francisco.
He liked the sword and he wished to covet it for himself but he wasn't a greedy person.
Francisco stood dumbfounded at Kelan's words but Kelan ignored him.
"Ti to check out my weapon," Kelan thought and he left the dorm in excitent as he was eager to see his new weapon.
However, on his way to the dwarf house, a notification suddenly pops up.
Ding!
[You've saved your friend now it's ti to go on a hunt.
]
"What the fuck!"
