"What do you an co with us?!" Mona exclaid as she shook her head, "You’re all too weak. Raul alone can kill all of you."
Amon shrugged, "I’m not fighting him myself. Join the Gaboras with and you don’t even have to show your face. If he wants to get to us, he’ll have to put in so work. Hiding is easy while finding people is hard. He might have manpower but I have ans to escape."
As he said that, he heard the bedroom door open and saw Mikayla walk out with Elena, limping slightly.
Mona’s lips twitched as she looked at the satisfied expression on her daughter’s face and then glanced at Amon who seed unfazed.
".... You never learn, do you?" Mikayla said as she looked at her mom with a slight frown, "Also... it’s much worse than before."
"Yeah I ran away. He’ll be busy trying to find for now..."
"You an busy trying to find you so he can kill you? Brother died trying to save you last ti... who do you want to see die this ti?" she asked as she walked to her mother and stood still.
The pain and worry was clear on her face, but she didn’t talk about it. She also didn’t turn to look at Amon since she had never told him the true story.
Mona shook her head, "I don’t. That’s why I want you guys to leave this place soon."
"Just join us. I trust Amon just like I trusted brother. If you push us away now, we’ll follow you and when that happens..."
"Fine, I’ll co." Mona said softly as the corners of her lips tugged upwards, "I’ll co alright? So... can you call mom for once?"
Mikayla stared at her mother in silence for a few monts before turning away, only for her gaze to land on Amon who gave her a slight nod.
"Haa... you shaless bitch." she cursed as tears welled up in her eyes, "Mama, give a hug."
Mona did not stay still and pulled her daughter into a hug before bursting into tears herself.
Amon got off the couch and looked at the others, "Let’s go to my room. They need so ti together and we need to prepare."
Everyone nodded and followed behind him. Aron looked lifeless while Letty seed extrely worried. Nyx and Elena kept glancing back at Mikayla for their own personal reasons.
As for Amon, he did not turn back. Not until he opened the door for everyone else to pass through. Using this opportunity, he stared at the mother and daughter duo for a few seconds before closing the door.
"Sigh... a lot of shit has happened lately, both good and bad." he said as he spent so stream points to buy so basic masks for everyone.
Once they appeared in front of him, he distributed them to everyone. Nyx looked down at her plain white mask that made her feel a little uneasy. She didn’t like the utter plainness.
"We’ll be wearing these. We don’t have to give our group a na since people can gossip pretty well. They’ll do the na giving for us. Now, we’ll all go to the Gobara Gang and work for them but in our own way. Since we’re pretty good awakened, we will probably get a few important missions.
"Our goal is Raul, the Red Baron Gang’s leader. He’s also Mikey’s father and Mona’s so-called husband. When the ti cos, they might show hesitation but we aren’t going to show any rcy. A man like that should die.
"In that process, maybe we’ll be able to wipe out the Gobara Gang too." Amon said as he paced around the room.
Elena raised her hand up slightly, "Um, I’m an A rank too so we should be able to attack him right now. Isn’t that right?"
"We can, yes. But I don’t like working with unpredictability. He has a lot of mbers in his gang, which ans that there can be a few B rankers who can co to his aid. He probably has tens of C and D rankers along with maybe a hundred E and F rankers. It’s not an easy feat to fight him head on. Even with distractions, we might not be able to kill him in ti.
"We can fight him and maybe we’ll win too but I wouldn’t want to lose anyone here. I want a high chance of success. Unless I get that, we’re not going against him directly. Just chip away at his strength... kill him with a hundred cuts."
"You an, attack his businesses?" Letty asked, making Amon raise his eyebrow in surprise.
A mont later, he nodded in response, "Yes. We attack his businesses. That’s also the reason we’re joining the Gobaras. They’re doing an all out attack on the Red Baron Gang, so it’s a good thing to join them."
Knock Knock.
"Amon, open the door."
Hearing Mikayla’s voice, Amon looked at Aron who was the closest to the door.
The door opened and the ladies walked in to see everyone holding a mask .
"Here. We’ll leave right now." he said as he looked at his system screen, the system points increased by a good amount thanks to Mikayla’s enthusiasm this morning.
’Seven people... let’s buy fourteen just to be safe.’ Amon thought as he looked at his 1500 points and sighed before he spotted another teleportation talisman.
A group teleportation talisman costing just 200 points. As long as people are touching the talisman holder, everyone could be teleported.
With a nod, he bought one along with seven regular teleportation talismans, splurging 900 steam points in one second.
He gave each one of them a teleportation talisman and explained how to use them before holding the group teleportation talisman in hand.
"Alright, everyone grab onto but put your masks on first." he said and everyone followed his instructions before placing their hands on him.
What surprised him the most, was Elena who hugged him from behind, intentionally pushing her soft mounds against his back.
Taking a deep breath, he spoke, "Let’s go then."
