Headstrong Level One Chaser (part 8)
Earlier before setting out for the hunt, Qiao had followed the advice from the shopkeeper and placed the stone in his mouth and closed his eyes. Soon lot of amount of knowledge entered his mind, describing the skill and the thod to practice it. It had beco a part of his mory which he could access at any mont.
He hadn't yet had a chance to practice it, and he wondered if he would get a chance at the hunt. Now the chance was here.

Since his weapon was small and had a lower outreach, he had to rely on his agility skill and improve it now, mid-battle.
The monster and the team both seed as if they were trying to scare each other.
"Stay clear off the opposite edge, you don't want to give the monster a chance to push you down," the leaders reminded them all.
Almost all of them had covered their faces leaving only eyes. They were also surrounding monster without letting it go. As it was midday now, the monster was expelling a lot more acidic sweat than normal. To fight it right now was definitely not the best ti. But they had no other choice.
It was due to the natural physiognomies regarding this monster that its body cannot stay in the open for long. This was why the Guild imdiately sent a team to hunt this monster because it rarely showed up and the Guild was handed with the job to acquire the spoils related to it at any cost.
Though this monster was only level one but the astringent stuff its body produce was in demand for higher level hunters. They set a high price to get it at any costs.
So, this small Guild was handed this responsibility to get it as soon as the monster was seen around the lower edges.
This would help the Guild in return to obtain a high price for this quest.
"Rember to not directly hit at its abdon," the team leader warned as soon as soone made the second attack. Once a chaser was ready to attack, the other chasers were given the responsibility to distract the monster. This was a benefit to hunt with a team.
It was taking ti, and the chaser who was hanging at the bush was really about to fall down the height.
He scread for help and Qiao rembered that there was soone down who needed help.
But right now, he was the next one to attack because the leader gestured at him to create a fatal injury. If he did not make a move soon, the chasers would be doing this for whole day and might not be able to kill the monster early.
To have strong weapon was a big advantage.
Linwin was not given any chance until now as the situation was not really favorable. Almost all the chasers were having difficulty for attacking and at the sa ti saving themselves from direct contact with the monster.
In this situation, the newbie might not be able to act in perfect formation with the others and might even get hurt.
It was all because of Qiao, if he was not in the team, the newbie might have been the subject of their annoyance.
While these mbers also secretly calculated Qiao's movent and his moves during attack they were able to tell he was definitely level one. What surprised them was as to how this newbie was able to hide his level, And when and how on earth did he reach level one?
They were scared to ask this directly from him so they decided to keep their mouths shut.
At this ti, Qiao ran toward the monster holding his shapeless weapon. If he made a quick slash at it, he might be able to escape the range of the monster in the limited ti after attack. It also depended on whether the chasers were able to distract the monster for so ti.
According to his observation, if the monster was given a fatal injury near the neck, the rest of ordeal would not be much for others. But it also carried a strong danger with this task. The monster would not just wait for him to slash its neck. He had to be as fast as possible.
It would be quite challenging he thought.
As such calculation ran in his mind, Qiao reached was near the edge.
The team leader noticed this at the very last mont and he yelled at him to stop but it was impossible for Qiao to stop in the middle of the attack. It was not just risky, he felt he was losing a capable team mber.
Qiao was already aware of what he was doing. There was no other choice to finish this hunt he knew. The monster was also playing a ga of attrition with them and if it continued, they would be first ones to run out of stamina. A out-of-the-box thod was required to solve this stalemate.
If Qiao attacked from any other side, there was a high chance that he would not able to perform the attack as per his calculations and be unable to land a fatal hit. He might even find himself in even bigger trouble if his attack were to fail. So he devised a plan of falling into the valley.
He had a rope tied around his waist, so his chances to die from this were really low.
The chasers also felt this was crazy, but wanted to witness this attack too. And possibly learn sothing from it. But without getting distracted too much they focused on their current task to provide Qiao with support and distract the monster.
Actually, Qiao was planning to use the first step of the skill, and show how perfectly he could control his body movent at the last minute.
If he failed then it was pretty much visible how dire the consequences might be
