Keep The Stone Active:
All the parts were actually the points marked from where the monsters could invade the entrance of the encampnt. So this one was under this team to stop the monsters those who tried to take advantage of the night.
"You stand at that point and keep your eyes open toward the forest. The team leader is not in good so don't expect a favorable response." the team mber patted his shoulders and winked. Qiao nodded and stood at his pointed place. The snowfall was normal while the team was alert.
The other part was at the end of the hundred feet distance and there another team was standing, they cannot see each other because of the different set of the corners designed to keep a look out at two direction at the sa ti. In front the open forest and the sparse trees loaded with the snow looked epic, it could be called most fantastic sight he ever witnessed. But he has no ti to praise it since the dangers were lurking around the encampnt.
After the evening, the encampnt slowly fell silent because all the teams went in their tents to rest. Qiao wore his second cover because the cold was increasing, it was because he was standing idle at the watchtower, only team leader was moving here and there perhaps with worry, every after so ti he called his n to use so stone to scan the surrounding in case they were missing so monster with eyes.
He was moving as if ready to attack an unseen monster. "There is so movent, perhaps a level five Ragon is wandering in the lower side near the entrance." a team mber saw throw the light stone and spoke. The Ragon monster was known for big shining eyes since it was level five, it's height reached seven feet and resembled to the polar bear with dull black skin.
"That sharp monster has already decided which way to move in. Get ready everyone." as if team leader suddenly rembered sothing and moved toward Qiao. Our team is going to hunt that monster, keep active this Stone of Twang Tremor." he spoke and handed a stone which was colorless.
Qiao was afraid to ask but he still asked, "How to keep it active?" since he was sent he was standing here to face what cos for him. Team leader shook his head and went away but a team mber stopped and patted his shoulder, "No need to worry much, just attach it with your experience token and it will start working. Be careful not to deactivate it, the screams of the level five monsters happened to be dangerous for level lower chaser. As long as it kept active, you as well as the chasers of the encampnt will remain safe." he briefly told and jumped from the rock wall.
The whole team except Qiao jumped at the outer side of the wall to surround the monster. Qiao hurriedly brought out his experience token followed what the hunter explained. As soon as he attached the stone with his experience token it started to emit the present light of his token which was yellow along with the lines of golden.
This indicate that he was moving toward level five and when Qiao would breakthrough level five it would start emitting pure golden light. The light was limited to his stature while the power of the stone enveloped the three hundred feet area from every single direction.
The activation of this stone does not ans that it would fend off the screams of the monster instead it would absorb it and when it would reach its limits, it would shatter and beco useless. Qiao soon understood why team leader was frustrated perhaps he was worried for the sa reason which Qiao now felt.
The stone uses the energy of the hunter to keep itself active just a chaser run and attack and use his strength for attacks sa way this stone takes the strength of the chaser. That ans Qiao was standing idle, he was among the team and working his part in the team.
He could see the team now clearly, they were able to force the monster away from the entrance. The team leader saw toward the watchtower to confirm that the newbie has activated the stone of Twang Tremor and nodded. The chaser was standing alert and the experience token was shining at his chest at this mont.
The team start to follow the orders of the team leader, and the monster seed groaning by opening its big mouth just that Qiao was unable to hear the ear splitting screams.
It all depended on his focus if he want to remain unaffected from the screams. In front of him, the team was displaying their collaborative and effective attacks. Qiao was feeling like statue unable to move and clearly see the attack sense of the team.
It was midnight, though the big eyes of the monster were shining and the team also have their light stones but from this distance he could only see their shadows moving. They definitely have the second level of their agility skill or they were too familiar with the collaboration.
A level two agility skill ant much for level five hunter. It depends whether they were learning it by the skill stone or by practice. Practice can leave so flaws without the help of skill stone. And only skill stone was useless without practice.
Both were interconnected as for as the complete set was concern. There were only four skills known and agility one of the most compulsory to learn by practice. Monsters were ant to be big and sharp compared to the humans, though it take extra effort but this extra effort always proved blessing in tis.
The tis when nothing could be helpful to save life. And the ti when the hunter was left with no choice but to run away and save life.
