The first one who appeared kept trying to talk to , but his words fell on deaf ears.

I don't speak monster tongue.

They soon also realized this, and so simply resud attacking .

I glanced at my tribesn, noticing that so of them seed worried. They weren't sure if I could take on the seven purple-skinned monsters.

But I am.

Sohow, these purple-skinned monsters don't intimidate one bit.

Spears made of thunder, dark spheres, torn space, and purple blasts ca my way, but I have a lot of ans to deal with them.

After repositioning myself, I called upon what was called a domain by my newfound powers.

All seven of the purple-skinned monsters were caught in it. A majority of them were now under my rcy, and they seed to know it as well.

The suppressed, fearful looks on their faces couldn't be more satisfying.

It was like they were struggling to understand how soone like could be this skillful in sorcery; I don't bla them.

After all, my powers are granted by the gods themselves, and re diocre monsters of unknown origins couldn't possibly understand.

What I called upon was what was called a Thunderclap Domain.

Only those who could use Thunder Sorcery had a chance against .

The rest? They could only rely on their comrades, hoping I would not target them.

But I'm not dumb.

In such a high-stakes battle where every second of delay would result in the possible death of another tribesman, I plan to end everything as quickly as possible.

Almost imdiately, I called upon a Thunder Spear, shooting who I perceived to be the weakest among them.

My crackling, thunderous projectile tore through the air at unbelievable speeds, almost too fast to avoid.

The purple-skinned bastard, however, was fast and was almost able to evade my attack, only being struck on the leg.

The invader's roar of agony couldn't be more satisfying.

I was about to follow up, but sadly, Thunder Spears were also headed my way.

No matter…

As fast as it was, I have a lot of spell cards in my arsenal.

Turning into a streak of lightning myself, I zipped out of the way.

The other purple-skinned, horned monsters naturally didn't stand by, continuing to hurl all sorts of darkness, spatial, and void sorcery projectiles at , but inside my domain, their spells were weaker.

So of them tried to destroy the massive sphere enveloping us, but to no avail.

They weren't qualified with their diocrity.

So, the invaders changed tactics.

The two who wielded thunder tried destroying the domain while the others risked their lives to keep my attention.

But with their plan as clear as the plains down south of the island, I easily adapted.

I reappeared closer to one of the thunder sorcerers, raising only my middle finger at the female, purple-skinned monster.

She trembled.

In the next mont, purple blood spurted out of her nose, and she plumted to the ground—headfirst.

She never moved after the nauseating cracking sound, though strangely, to , it was vindicating.

With one less sorcerer who could contend with inside my domain, panic visibly appeared on my enemies' faces.

They were scared of , the superior being.

I finally realized how powerful I am.

Without hesitation, I stood my ground and fought them, not realizing I was entering a murderous trance that prevented from thinking rationally.

But it's alright.

I'm vanquishing my foes successfully, so why should I think things are going wrong?

I'm on the verge of victory!

In the wake of my middle finger, the purple-skinned invaders could only tremble for a mont before dying.

All I needed to do was defend myself, wait for the middle finger attack to be available again, and then eliminate another enemy with it.

Why did I even summon this domain?

I could've just used this!

But then, just when I thought triumph was within grasp, a sharp pain assaulted my head, and for a mont, I lost my sorcery and began falling from high.

I wrestled with my consciousness, struggling to keep myself awake.

I would crash and perish, otherwise.

Fortunately, before I hit the ground, I was able to call upon the aid of the winds and soften my landing, though I still fell face-first.

The next thing I knew, my cheeks were in contact with the dirty ground, and I was staring face-to-face with a pair of eyes.

Reflected in them are hints of sorrow and unwillingness.

The person in front of definitely didn't want to die, perhaps due to the young woman nestled deeply in her embrace.

Unfortunately, the gods didn't grant her wish.

The empty gaze told all I needed to know. The person in front of had already embarked on her journey in the river of reincarnation.

She looked familiar…very familiar…

In the next mont, a destructive pain assaulted my heart, and tears flowed out of my eyes, which I didn't notice was now overwheld by horror and vengeance.

Eha…Acca…

I apologize for not protecting you two properly.

I should've…

Unfortunately, like my departed mother, I could only wallow in regret.

But at least I could avenge them…

A surge of power, from sources unknown, flooded my entire body as a legend I once heard from a now departed elder resurfaced in my mind.

Soul Totems…

Apparently, a soul only departs forty days after the vessel crumbles.

Perhaps my mother and little sister…

With a roar of defiance, I stood back up.

My body was trembling, and my head felt like it was about to burst.

But I stood back up…

The horror in the face of the purple-skinned invader, who froze a few hundred ters away from , was the final push that allowed to raise my hands.

A wave of sharp pain battered my head as, once again, I took the life of another horned bastard with my middle finger.

But things weren't as easy now.

I suddenly couldn't feel my left hand…sothing took it from .

No matter…

I turned to look at yet another invader, destroying his head with my weakest but fastest spell, catching him off guard.

Now, only the leader of the seven—first to appear—remained.

It was then I felt the cold brush of death behind .
