After that, Fly hung up on Jett, pulled him into the group chat, and sent out a notification telling everyone to gather at the classroom at 6:00 AM the next morning. Then, Fly tossed his phone onto the nightstand, fell back onto his bed, and went straight to sleep.
He slept soundly through the night without a single dream.
When Fly opened his eyes again, it was already early the next morning. He briefly washed up, took a quick shower, grabbed a simple breakfast at the cafeteria, and headed toward the academic building.
When Fly arrived at the Rocket Class classroom, Genevieve had just arrived as well. Today, she was wearing a pink and white hoodie paired with black leggings. Her hair was tied up into a simple ponytail, giving her a clean, sharp, and athletic look.
The mont she saw Fly, Genevieve imdiately ran over. Her soft gaze scanned him from head to toe as she asked, "Fly, are you alright?"
"How could you sign such an outrageous Apprenticeship Contract?"
Yesterday, when she first learned the details of Fly's Apprenticeship Contract from Mr. Carter, she knew things had gone terribly wrong. She frantically bombarded Fly with ssages and almost blew up his phone with calls.
But Fly had been entirely too exhausted last night. After finishing his conversation with Jett, he had gone straight to sleep and completely missed all the ssages Genevieve had sent.
So now, the mont she saw Fly, Genevieve charged right up to him. "Fly, what on earth were you thinking?"
"I think Grandmaster Muse is a pretty decent guy, and he seems like a great teacher." Fly shrugged. Aside from that massive wager, Fly really didn't see any issue with the contract.
"Besides, as long as I win the championship in The Jade State League, won't everything be fine?"
As soon as those words left his mouth, Genevieve froze dead in her tracks. Her large, shimring, watery eyes widened like saucers, her rosy lips parting slightly as she drew in a sharp breath of cold air.
Crazy.
This guy Fly was absolutely out of his mind!
Right, he must have strained himself too hard resisting The Scroll of Martial Heart-Tempering yesterday, and now he was suffering from cultivation deviation!
The championship of The Jade State League?
That was sothing even Lysander Thorne hadn't managed to accomplish!
Not a single student in all of Star City High would even dare to dream of such a thing.
Just then, an elegant male voice drifted over from behind Fly. "Fly, you sly dog. Taking on such a massive challenge behind my back, are we?"
Fly imdiately turned around, and the two of them looked toward the sound.
The newcors were none other than 'Emperor' Valerius and Jett.
At that mont, faint bruises could still be seen on Jett's face—clearly the lingering evidence of his previous challenge against 'Emperor' Valerius.
"I honestly don't think it's anything to worry about. If Fly really ends up having to pay the breach-of-contract penalty, I can pitch in and help out," Jett volunteered enthusiastically.
"This isn't about money at all," Genevieve retorted. "This so-called 'Apprenticeship Contract' is completely unfair from the get-go!"
Jett awkwardly rubbed his nose. "I just wanted to help Fly out..."
"Alright, alright," Fly quickly stepped in to cut the topic short. "Since it's already a done deal, dwelling on it now is pointless."

"What's more, signing that contract was my own choice. Even if things really go south, I'll bear the consequences myself."
"Right now, there's only one thing I want to know, and that's what you guys are thinking."
"Do you... want to take the championship of The Jade State League?"
The words barely hung in the air before Jett eagerly jumped in. "Of course I do! That's a state-level league. All the top-tier geniuses from the elite high schools across the state will be there. If we could actually snatch the championship, I'd probably wake up laughing in my sleep." Jett clenched his fists, completely unable to contain his excitent.
"Hmph. As if I'd ever be afraid of anyone." 'Emperor' Valerius crossed his arms and replied with his signature haughty tone.
Genevieve looked at Fly, then glanced over at Jett and 'Emperor' Valerius. Finally, her rosy lips parted slightly as she said, "Count in too."
She had never been one to lack courage. Just a mont ago, she was rely overly concerned for Fly because the wagering conditions in his Apprenticeship Contract were far too outrageous. But since everyone else had made up their minds, she certainly wasn't going to be the one left behind.
"Then it's settled! Since we all crave the championship of The Jade State League, why not push our limits and fight for that goal together?" Fly smiled, then added, "Besides, it's not like I'm completely shooting in the dark here."
"Let's hear it then." Seeing Fly so confident and self-assured, Genevieve couldn't help but feel curious.
"Resources," Fly said cryptically. "Do you guys still rember Gideon King from the Freshman Invitational?"
"In terms of pure talent alone, he probably isn't much different from Jett. But why was he able to beco the ace of Ironpeak Academy and even arrogantly declare he was going to wipe out Star City High?"
"For no other reason than the fact that he possessed resources."
"As long as you have resources, you can do exactly what Gideon King did—start by absorbing a Common Species Komodo Dragon Totem, and then infuse it with the genetic data of The Golden Draconian, forcibly evolving the Beast Totem into a Mythical Species. On top of that, you can seek out tech giants like Hyson Industries to customize your Warrior Gear, pushing your strength even higher."
"Of course, I'm not advocating that we copy Gideon King's exact thods. After all, taking such shortcuts will ultimately hinder a Warrior's future progression. My point is, we need to make optimal use of our resources. For example... the school's Gravity Chamber."
Fly paused his speech, his gaze sweeping across his circle of companions.
"The Gravity Chamber? Isn't that a restricted area you can only access by accumulating enough rit Points?" Jett was montarily taken aback. Since his Beast Totem wasn't a Mythical Species, he was exceptionally attentive to any opportunity that could boost his strength.
He had previously spoken to his horoom teacher about this, but the teacher had simply told him to study hard and try to grind his rit Points up as quickly as possible.
"Normally, yes. But the Directors of The Board had a chat with yesterday. They are willing to grant us two million in cash as funding, and they've even agreed to make an exception, granting us unlimited access to the Gravity Chamber." Fly had received this piece of news shortly after parting ways with Mr. Carter yesterday.
This was also the very reason Fly had gathered everyone so early in the morning.
"Jett, how much can your family pitch in for a sponsorship?" Following that, Fly naturally pivoted to inquiring about Jett's family finances.
"Well about that..." Jett scratched his head sheepishly. After talking with his old man yesterday, he finally learned that while their chain of dojos pulled in massive revenue, a lot of the assets had been imdiately reinvested into opening new branches.
Because of that, the actual liquid cash the family could cough up on short notice wasn't quite as astronomical as he thought.
Furthermore, there was no way Jett's family could bet the entire farm on a single Jade State League run.
"My dad only gave two million..." Jett muttered awkwardly, fidgeting as if the number was a bit too embarrassing to present.
Fly: "???"
Good lord!
He 'only' gave him two million?
A massive institution like the school, after a lengthy eting with a room full of high-and-mighty Directors, had only managed to scrape together a two-million budget.
If Fly actually lost the wager, the penalty fee he owed was a re 1.5 million.
This chunk of change was more than enough to pay off the breach-of-contract fee with plenty to spare!
That's Young Master Gale for you!
Fly quickly crunched the numbers in his head. Right now, their total funding sat at four million. Split among the four of them, that was one million per person.
Combine that with the buffs from the Gravity Chamber...
Heavens above, I've never had the luxury of fighting such a cash-flush battle in my entire life!
At that exact mont, their horoom teacher, Mr. Carter, could be seen walking over from the other end of the corridor.
But what truly took the group by surprise was the fact that Mr. Carter wasn't alone. He was accompanied by a woman.
Fly focused his gaze. He saw that the woman was dressed in a pristine, snow-white dress. Her complexion was as flawless as polished jade, and her every movent exuded an aura of profound elegance. Dropped into a crowd, she was undoubtedly the type of person who would turn heads everywhere she went.
"Miss Cynthia?"
It didn't take long for Fly to recognize the newcor's identity.
She was none other than Grandmaster Muse's daughter, Cynthia Muse!
"Why is she here with Mr. Carter?"
