The speed of the Nascent Soul True Monarch was extrely fast, flying through the air, the world below stretched into streaks of afterimages.
In half a day's ti, the two had already arrived at Canglan Island and flew above the Canglan Sect.
"Below us lies the Canglan Sect,"
Following True Monarch Ling Gu's gaze, Yang Ji saw a majestic mountain range that stretched for thousands of miles, its shape like a dragon, winding endlessly beyond sight, truly magnificent and stirring the soul to its core.
Looking down from a height of a thousand yards, all that t the eye were peaks and deep valleys without number.
Straining his eyesight to take a closer look, one could see on the mountain peaks nurous magnificent waterfalls, like the Milky Way in a reverse cascade, descending along the cliffs for a thousand yards in breathtaking splendor.
Atop the peaks among the ancient trees, spiritual birds occasionally flew past, emitting clear calls, creating an utterly celestial atmosphere.
Before Yang Ji could take a closer look, True Monarch Ling Gu, grasping him, flew toward a mountain peak sharp as a sword.
As they approached, Yang Ji discovered a middle-aged man standing in the void in front of the mountain peak.
That man, with a refined and elegant face and a warm smile, wore a white robe conveying a strong aura of immortal dao, identical to the figure in the "Sword Dao Shadow," unmistakably Jian Yuanzi.
Seeing True Monarch Ling Gu and Yang Ji approaching, Jian Yuanzi smiled slightly and said, "Junior Brother!"
"Senior Brother, I've brought the person to you," said True Monarch Ling Gu as he approached with Yang Ji, who promptly bowed in greeting, "I have seen you before, Senior."
"You must be Yang Ji," Jian Yuanzi said warmly as he assessed him.
"This youngster is indeed Yang Ji," Yang Ji replied.
"Though we have not t before, our connection through the 'Sword Dao Shadow' is a kind of destiny. I wish to take you as my disciple. Would you be willing to follow ?" Jian Yuanzi said, smiling lightly.
"Disciple is willing!" Jian Yuanzi's airy and gentle deanor, along with his sage and scholarly aura, appealed greatly to Yang Ji. And as a formidable Nascent Soul True Monarch, nurous people sought his ntorship to no avail, Yang Ji naturally was also pleased to beco his disciple.
"Your appearance is very sincere, and within your pupils, there is a steadiness and determination. As a teacher, I am very satisfied," Jian Yuanzi said softly.
Yang Ji humbly bowed deeply, "Master flatters too much."
"Congratulations, Senior Brother, on acquiring a fine disciple. Xiao Ji my nephew, your Senior Uncle doesn't have much to give you, but consider this little trinket a eting gift from ,"
True Monarch Ling Gu smiled slightly, and with a flicker of spiritual light in his palm, a brocade box appeared out of nowhere and was handed to Yang Ji.
"What mysterious thing you're keeping in a brocade box. Xiao Ji, open it and see what it is,"
Jian Yuanzi smiled and nodded, indicating Yang Ji should accept it.
True Monarch Ling Gu seed resigned but still wore a confident smile, clearly confident in the value of the gift.
From his expression, one could tell that the treasure inside was extraordinary.
Yang Ji threw a glance at True Monarch Ling Gu and noticed the words "Hurry up and open it." displayed above his head.
Perhaps noticing Ling Gu's smug expression, Jian Yuanzi then prompted Yang Ji to open the box.
Yang Ji chuckled inwardly, deciding to follow the wishes of the two seniors, opening the brocade box to satisfy Ling Gu's bit of vanity.

As the brocade box was opened, a surge of spiritual light imdiately burst forth, like the moon, scattering endless soft glow.
Enveloped in this spiritual glow, one felt ultimate relaxation, as if floating in ecstasy, almost as though ascending in broad daylight.
"This is a supre Gathering Spirit Pearl born from the essence of heaven and earth,"
Jian Yuanzi recognized the item at a glance.
"The Gathering Spirit Pearl can autonomously absorb and refine spiritual energy, storing it in an interior space. It is like a second Dantian for cultivators, ensuring no fear of spiritual power depletion in battle."
"The emitted spiritual energy can enhance one's physique, wearing it over the years can prolong life, maintain youth, and bring trendous benefits."
"It also has the short-term effect of staving off hunger."
"As they say, those who consu qi will not die of the divine spirit; absorbing the special spiritual energy inside, one can abstain from food for a month,"
Jian Yuanzi listed the benefits of the Gathering Spirit Pearl, smiling, "This is truly a precious treasure, aren't you going to thank your Senior Uncle Ling Gu?"
"Thank you, Senior Uncle!"
Yang Ji was overjoyed inside and quickly expressed his gratitude.
The re fact of it being akin to a second Dantian was enough to make people envious. No wonder True Monarch Ling Gu wanted to show off on the spot—indeed, it was a great treasure.
True Monarch Ling Gu laughed heartily and nodded, "Well then, Senior Brother is busy, I will head back to the Demon Stench Sea."
"Mm, good!" Jian Yuanzi responded.
Watching True Monarch Ling Gu turn into a speck disappearing into the horizon, Jian Yuanzi turned to Yang Ji and said, "Xiao Ji, follow ."
Yang Ji followed Jian Yuanzi as they flew upwards, quickly passing the middle of the mountain and arriving at the summit.
In front of them appeared a grand collection of buildings, with a grand hall nad "Sword Pavilion" standing out prominently.
"Welco, Young Peak Master!"
As soon as they landed, more than a dozen n and won stread out from the grand hall.
Under the guidance of an elder with graying hair, they lined up in two orderly rows and paid their respects to Yang Ji.
Yang Ji looked over and was imdiately moved, the aura of these dozen or so people was extrely strong, with the weakest among them being at the Foundation Establishnt Realm.
The elder leading them had an even more obscure aura, actually a late-stage Golden Core expert.
All of these individuals were formal disciples of the Sect, with lofty statuses.
Yet, they sharpened their heads to enter here, willing to be at others' beck and call.
The reason for this was the presence of a Nascent Soul True Monarch living here.
If they could receive even the slightest guidance from a True Monarch, it would be an enormous blessing, benefitting them for life.
However, it was sowhat surprising to Yang Ji that this elder, a late-stage Golden Core expert just one step away from becoming a Nascent Soul True Monarch, would willingly serve others.
"Let introduce you all, this is my disciple whom I just accepted today, his na is Yang Ji," Jian Yuanzi said indifferently.
"Greetings, Young Peak Master!"
The crowd imdiately bowed and shouted in unison with great respect.
"Just call Yang Ji," he said.
Yang Ji quickly returned the gesture, finding this scene even more disconcerting than eting the two Nascent Soul True Monarchs and also feeling a sense of elation swelling within him.
He sort of understood now.
Why everyone in the world wanted to be emperor, this feeling of being worshipped indeed could make one lose themselves.
"Young Master, this servant's na is Lun Nu, responsible for the stewardship here. Should you need anything in the future, please do not hesitate to command," said the gray-haired elder, his voice robust and eyes spirited, revealing a sharp and practiced vigour.
"Elder Lun Nu, if there is a need, I will indeed trouble you, and hope you won't mind," Yang Ji replied with a smile, his expression extrely sincere and his eyes clear, without a trace of impurity.
"This servant dares not. The Young Master may command as he wishes," Lun Nu responded with a contained expression, imdiately bowing.
In front of everyone, Yang Ji's conduct and deanor were courteous and proper, without any arrogance.
Seeing this, Jian Yuanzi nodded in silent approval.
"Xiao Ji, follow ," Jian Yuanzi led Yang Ji into the Sword Pavilion.
As the two entered the great hall, those outside began to talk amongst themselves.
"The peak master has only ever taken Elder Brother Li Changxiao as a disciple, all because he comprehended the Dao of Li Sword from the Sword Dao's Shadow, could it be that this new Young Peak Master also did so for the sa reasons?" a young disciple asked curiously, peering inside.
"The Young Peak Master is quite handso. If only I could take him under my wing and beco Dao companions with him," a female disciple said with peach blossom eyes, twisting her slender waist as she looked into the hall, her desire unmistakably apparent.
"Hm?" Lun Nu suddenly emitted a cold aura, enveloping the female disciple.
"I beg Elder Lun Nu's forgiveness!"
The female disciple was panic-stricken, bowing her head imdiately and tightening her clothes.
"To see the Young Peak Master is to see the Peak Master himself. Maintain the due respect. Those who dare to be presumptuous will have their limbs crippled and will be expelled from Sword Peak," Lun Nu said, looking in the direction where Yang Ji had disappeared.
"Yes!"
All of them trembled slightly, responding in unison.
Inside the Sword Pavilion, Jian Yuanzi and Yang Ji sat opposite each other in a room.
"Xiao Ji, my real na is Lun Zhi, known to outsiders as True Monarch Jian Yuan," Jian Yuanzi stated plainly.
"Lun Zhi? Master and Steward Lun Nu?"
Yang Ji asked curiously, suddenly questioning.
Seeing Jian Yuanzi's faint smile, realizing he was wrong, he quickly said:
"Disciple spoke out of turn, I should not inquire too much."
Jian Yuanzi chuckled, "Since I have told you, I'm naturally not concerned with that."
"Lun Nu is a servant of my Lun family, but I have always regarded him as an elder," Jian Yuanzi explained.
Yang Ji nodded gently, "Thank you, Master, for your trust."
"No matter! Now that I have taken you as my disciple, if I didn't have this level of trust for you, how could we speak of the long road of longevity that lies ahead," said Jian Yuanzi with a carefree smile, exuding magnanimity.
