Lucian exhaled as the shadows faded from his hand. His mind was clearer now—focused.

"Alright," he said, voice calm. "Tell about the other functions. Start from the top."

The system responded with a low chi. Then the main interface shimred and rearranged itself. Each tab hovered like a page torn from a glowing book.

[System Interface nu – Infinite System]

– [Status Window]

– [Skills & Abilities]

– [System Shop]

– [Trials]

– [Titles]

– [Inventory]

– [Blueprint Archive]

– [World Logs]

– [Locked: Legacy Path]

– [Locked: Dinsional Anchor]

The system’s voice returned. Calm. Collected. Still slightly amused.

[Titles]

[This section tracks and applies all unique titles tied to your actions, choices, or background. So titles are passive. Others unlock secret benefits or interactions with the world.]

A new panel opened.

[Current Titles]

– Returned One (Active)

Lucian tapped it again, though he’d seen it earlier. The description appeared.

Title: Returned One

You are a soul out of ti. A dead man walking the path twice. The world has changed, but you carry pain and purpose no one else sees.

Effects:

– Tiline Instinct: Sense important future monts before they occur.

– Temporal Echo: 10% resistance to ti-based skills.

– Broken Fate: Immune to prophecy, fate manipulation, and soul binding.

– ??? (Locked)

He leaned back.

"Still freaks out that I broke sothing just by coming back."

[You didn’t break it. You just refused to stay erased.]

"...Fair."

[Inventory]

[A spatial storage dinsion linked to your system. Everything you acquire through the shop or system events is stored here. You can organize, expand, and retrieve items instantly.]

A grid unfolded, almost like opening a chest in a ga.

[INVENTORY]

▸ Minor Healing Elixirs (x5)

▸ Beginner Spellbook: Shadow Grasp (Bound)

▸ Manual – Mana Reinforcent (Used)

▸ Storage Ring – Equipped

Lucian raised a brow. "So I can store stuff in here and not need bags?"

[Correct. You can also bind physical objects outside the shop by touching them and selecting ’Store’.]

He reached for a small mana crystal on the desk and tapped the new option hovering beside it:

[Store]

The crystal shimred—then vanished.

Lucian opened the inventory again. There it was.

"Neat."

[Blueprint Archive]

[A function exclusive to the Infinite System. The Blueprint Archive allows you to record, store, and replicate structures, weapons, artifacts, and even certain skills—as long as you’ve seen them in detail or analyzed them firsthand.]

Lucian blinked. "Wait... so I can copy sothing I’ve seen?"

[Correct. If you analyze it long enough. The more complex the item, the longer the analysis. Once stored, you can recreate the item using system points, raw materials, or both.]

[Note: This function grows stronger with higher ranks.]

The tab glowed softly. Right now, it was empty.

[No blueprints stored.]

Lucian sat forward. His eyes sparked with interest now.

"So I could copy... a legendary sword?"

[Yes—if you’ve touched it, studied it, and reached a sufficient understanding. You could recreate it with perfect precision... or evolve it.]

[Your Infinite System allows you to improve on what you copy.]

Lucian let out a slow whistle.

"Alright... that’s insane."

He thought of the Hellfla Blade his sister used. Could he record it one day? Forge it again? Maybe even make sothing stronger?

His fingers curled.

That was a good feature.

A dangerous one.

[World Logs]

[This tab contains records of major events tied to your tiline. Not global news, not gossip—only things that affect you.]

Lucian tilted his head. "So... like a journal?"

[More like a reflection. If you trigger a major shift in the world, or soone tries to interfere with your path, it will show up here. Over ti, this will beco a living map of your impact.]

He opened the tab.

Only one entry sat there.

[Event Log #1 – The Awakening]

Evelyn rton awakens Infinite Replication. Event mirrors your past life. A tiline deviation has been logged.

Lucian stared at the line. His throat tightened a little.

"...So it wasn’t just coincidence."

[No. Her awakening was influenced by residual echoes from your fractured tiline.]

Lucian nodded slowly.

"She’s a branch. I’m the root."

[Exactly.]

[Locked: Legacy Path]

[This tab will unlock when you reach Rank XXX. The Legacy Path is your soul’s true evolution line. It holds ancient forms, combat styles, and world-altering abilities tied to who you were—and who you might beco.]

[Once unlocked, it cannot be changed.]

Lucian stared at the locked icon for a mont.

"...So it’s permanent?"

[Yes. The Legacy Path chooses you, not the other way around. But it waits until you’re ready.]

"Got it."

He’d be patient.

He had to earn his place before touching sothing like that.

[Locked: Dinsional Anchor]

[This is the final feature—only accessible after Rank ???.]

[The Dinsional Anchor allows you to stabilize your presence across realms, tilines, or parallel worlds. It becos your tether—your core.]

Lucian didn’t speak.

He just listened.

The system’s voice slowed.

[When this anchor unlocks... you’ll no longer just exist in one reality.]

[You’ll shape multiple.]

Lucian’s fingers stopped moving.

No jokes. No comnts.

He felt it. That quiet pressure behind those words.

"...Sounds too big for ."

[Not yet. But soon.]

The screen dimd, slowly folding the tabs back into the main interface.

Lucian sat there, watching it fade.

Everything was quiet now—except the low hum of the mana circuits in his walls and the faint pulse of the system behind his eyes.

He stood up, walking over to the window again.

Ashvale was still awake.

A few lights were out. A few still burned bright.

Sowhere in that ss was Evelyn.

Sowhere deeper were secrets he hadn’t touched yet—like who brought him back... and why.

Lucian reached up and placed a hand on the windowpane.

His voice was low.

"Not playing by the rules anymore, huh?"

The system didn’t reply this ti.

Didn’t need to.

He closed his eyes.

He wasn’t Infinite yet.

But he was on his way.

And nothing in this world—or the next—was ready.

Elsewhere

The wind humd quietly outside the train window as Evelyn leaned back in her seat, her eyes half-lidded.

A soft chi ca from her comm device. She tapped it.

A familiar voice crackled through—warm, teasing.

"Hey, just a heads up—when you get ho tomorrow, Grandma’s planning a full-blown celebration. So uh... prepare for hugs. A lot of them."

Evelyn sighed, tilting her head against the glass.

"...Of course she is."

A small smile pulled at her lips.
