Yu Cheng moved extrely quickly, traversing through the profound vacuum, and soon arrived at a star space area far from Jade Star.
Facing the Heavenly Tribulation that ca with breaking through to the Immortal King Realm, Yu Cheng dared not make his breakthrough near Jade Star, fearing that the Heavenly Tribulation would affect Jade Star and cause trendous damage.
At this mont, Yu Cheng had already broken through his bottleneck, reaching the half-step Immortal King Realm. Even so, Lu Yi effortlessly employed the power of space, closely following right behind him.
The other high-ranking mbers of the Yu Family had been left far behind and were currently rushing towards this location.
Yu Cheng then stopped, looked around, and saw Lu Yi.
He nodded slightly, refrained from speaking further, and looked upwards, where terrifying storm clouds were slowly forming. He needed to concentrate on crossing the tribulation.
Lu Yi’s expression also beca solemn as he watched the gathering Heavenly Tribulation.
The Heavenly Tribulation was not as straightforward as during his own breakthrough, which involved only Heavenly Thunder without storm clouds, but its power was nonetheless formidable, roughly comparable to the tribulation he faced when he broke through to the Immortal Venerable Realm.
Lu Yi was still sowhat worried because, although Elder Yu Cheng had broken his bottleneck and reached the half-step Immortal King status, he was not a true Immortal King yet. Such a tribulation might not affect Lu Yi, but it was undoubtedly very dangerous for Elder Yu Cheng.
Although Lu Yi felt sowhat heavy-hearted, he was fully prepared. Even if Elder Yu Cheng could not survive the Heavenly Tribulation and was reduced to ashes, Lu Yi could still use the power of Natural Origin to resurrect him.
At most, they would try a few more tis.
However, Lu Yi did not disclose this plan to Elder Yu Cheng, lest the elder knew he had an alternative and couldn’t unleash his full potential.
Lu Yi was indeed making a great effort to help Elder Yu Cheng make the breakthrough.
As Lu Yi contemplated, several presences quickly approached. Without looking back, Lu Yi knew it to be Yu Xuanyi and others.
In the distance, Yu Xin and other Immortal Monarch Level high-ranking mbers of the Yu Family were also hurrying this way.
Soon, Yu Xuanyi and the others arrived beside Lu Yi, watching the mostly ford Heavenly Tribulation and sensing its terrifying force, they all showed signs of worry.
"Such a powerful Heavenly Tribulation... can that old chap Yu Cheng survive this?" Yu Xuanyi muttered.
Next to him, Yu Yuanyou looked at him disapprovingly and said, "What an inauspicious thing to say! Yu Cheng has prepared for so many years, and with the Taoist Energy Yi’er prepared for him, there surely won’t be a problem."
The others also nodded in agreent.
The group did not say much more, all watching solemnly as Yu Cheng faced the Heavenly Tribulation. Before long, Yu Xin and the others had also arrived.
As they sensed the tense atmosphere, they too refrained from speaking and quietly awaited Yu Cheng’s tribulation crossing.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The Heavenly Tribulation in the void emitted streams of particles, its terrifying power capable of instantaneously destroying an entire Constant Star System.
Though this place was a vacuum, the particle flows stirred up ripples in the vacuum, creating undulations like waves in the sea.
"It’s starting!"
Yu Yunqing suddenly spoke.
With a loud boom, a surge of Thunder fell from the storm clouds, transforming into a ferocious Thunder Pillar that engulfed Yu Cheng. The brilliance within was as blinding as solar flares, causing even the Immortal Monarch Realm mbers of the Yu Family to squint slightly.
Nevertheless, all of them were strong beings within the Immortal Realm, and such brilliance would not affect them.
Everyone looked through the dazzling light, observing the scene within the Thunder Pillar.
Yu Cheng conjured up one dreamy yet realistic world after another, fantasizing several forms of himself that reached the Immortal Venerate Realm, known as Residual Shadows. The dreamy worlds enveloped him, sealing off the Thunder Pillar, while the Residual Shadows fearlessly defended against the Heavenly Tribulation, perishing one by one under it.
However, these Residual Shadows were all imagined, and as long as Yu Cheng’s Divine Soul was intact and the Immortal Spirit Qi was not entirely depleted, they were limitless.
The Residual Shadows that perished reappeared and continued to face the Heavenly Thunder.
Soon, the first wave of Heavenly Thunder passed, and Yu Cheng managed to withstand it relatively easily.
Afterward ca the second, the third...
One after another, the Heavenly Tribulations fell, and the violent energy fluctuations caused ripples to form in the surrounding space. The whole space seed to be shattered by an unknown force, resembling a broken mirror with cracks everywhere.
Each following tribulation grew stronger, but Yu Cheng, after preparing for so many years, was imnsely ready. He used various Immortal Techniques and sacrificed different Immortal Artifacts to block each Heavenly Tribulation wave.
Though his complexion was sowhat pale and his breath sowhat disordered, it was evident that he still had so energy to spare.
At this point, Lu Yi and the others felt considerably more assured.
The Heavenly Tribulation was nearing its end, and it seed that Yu Cheng would likely survive.
Yu Xuanyi and others now showed smiles.
"It looks like there’s no problem."
"This old chap has prepared for so many years and indeed prepared so things."
"Since Yu Cheng can breakthrough, it’s our turn next."
The group discussed animatedly.
At this mont, Yu Xin and others all had broad smiles, very excited.
With Yu Cheng’s breakthrough to Immortal King, he would be the first Immortal King in this universe!
In that case, wouldn’t their Yu Family beco the number one family in the entire universe?
BOOM!
As the last wave of Heavenly Tribulation ended, Yu Cheng was covered with wounds, blood drenching his body, and his breath had beco very weak. Even the Immortal Artifacts he had prepared were now all shattered.
