"Fellow citizens in front of the TV and in the live webcast, good morning."
"I am the director of the managent center of the Supernatural Alliance Headquarters, and you can call —Alliance Director."
"I am sorry to have ordered the cessation of all non-essential work in human society this busy morning to gather everyone for an unprecedented civilizational conference..."
Standing alone inside the sanctuary's purple archway, the Alliance Director, dressed formally and with a solemn expression, bowed deeply to the cara.
"The human race, with a history of ten thousand years, has long endured."
"In recent centuries, with the efforts of all our compatriots and the struggles of all Transcendents, our civilization's strength has been flourishing."
"But."
"Perhaps it is that the outstanding wood in the forest invites the wind to blow it down."
"Unwittingly, the increasingly powerful we have beco the target of grievance by many surrounding foreign tribes."
"Finally, half a month ago, in alliance with a group of 'evils,' they launched a shocking, massive terrorist incident on the annual graduation assessnt arena of the human transcendental world."
The Director's voice paused montarily.
He raised his hand, and in the top left corner of his live broadcast screen, a photo imdiately appeared.
In the photo, hundreds of evils surged like a tsunami, brutally slaughtering civilians and foreign nobles alike.
"As the photo shows. I believe everyone has seen this scene," the Director continued in front of the cara: "The detailed facts of this incident have been updated on the hopage of the Supernatural Bureau's official website; you are all free to consult and understand."
"But we are short on ti at this mont, so I will just give a brief summary."
"That is, due to the ever-growing strength of human civilization, dozens of foreign tribes in alliance with the evil groups within human territory orchestrated an 'artificial' civil unrest, deliberately injured and killed so foreign nobles, and thus found a pretext to declare war on all of humankind."
"That's right."

Raising his head, the Alliance Director's piercing gaze seed to penetrate the dinsional barrier, clearly seeing the explosion of comnts in the multitude of live broadcast rooms.
"Humans have been declared war on by many species."
Halting his speech, the Alliance Director waited for a full minute.
Giving all humans ample ti to react.
Then he continued, "To be exact, by this morning at nine o'clock, a total of thirty-two foreign civilizations had ford a military alliance and declared war on us, the human race."
"An army of tens of thousands of foreign Transcendents is currently stationed on our borders."
"Ready at any mont to annihilate and extinct us."
"However, because of the existence of the 'Ten Thousand Tribes Law Enforcent Center,' this war is still in the 'review' stage."
"Once the review is completed and the 'war authorization' is issued, our civilization, inherited for ten thousand years, will be completely wiped out."
Having said that, the Alliance Director removed his hat and bowed again deeply: "I am very sorry. Such an important matter was not communicated to all humans in advance."
"Because we were waiting for another chance."
Standing straight again, the Director's forrly subdued tone suddenly rose: "Waiting for the secretly dispatched 'diplomatic team' to lobby the Law Enforcent Center and prevent the issuance of the 'authorization.'"
"Now, I can proudly announce that the lobbying mission was perfectly accomplished!"
"In the sixteen-mber team, at the cost of eleven noble lives, we successfully altered the form of war that the ten thousand tribes were waging against our people."
"From a united invasion to 'representative' duels!"
As his voice reached this point, the Alliance Director quickened his pace, briefly explaining what the "representative" war model entailed.
Then he took a step forward, placed his right fist over his heart, gave a military salute, and said, "I thank the 'diplomatic team' for their efforts and sacrifices, which allowed our great race to turn a desperate situation into a battle with our backs to the water."
"Now, within the entire human territory, flags are flown at half-mast. To these honorable and lovable mbers of the 'diplomatic team,' we pay the highest respects."
The live cara switched, focusing on the slowly lowering flags.
At the sa ti, sixteen photos appeared in the live broadcast.
All were the team mbers who had participated in the 'diplomatic mission' ten days prior.
There were the steel-armored strongn, the duckbill cap youngsters, Li Yao, and the chubby neighbor among them.
And each person's photo had been specially edited. At a glance, they were filled with justice and brightness.
Not giving away the slightest hint that most of them had been "traitors to humankind."
Soon.
All sixteen photos disappeared.
The Alliance Director bowed for the third ti.
And it was a deep, ninety-degree bow: "Lastly, to the absolute hero of this mission—Chen Yu, we offer even higher respects!"
On the screen below the flag, the black and white portrait of Chen Yu erged.
Below that brilliant smile, two olive branches blossod.
A wreath also surrounded it.
The gallant visage remained...
Below the sanctuary archway, at a spot the cara couldn't capture.
The duckbill cap youngster held a smartphone, looking around: "Who the hell designed this photo?"
"Your... Your Highness," a Transcendent nearby said cautiously, "Didn't you instruct that Chen Yu's photo should be highlighted and appropriately embellished?"
"The embellishnt is just perfect," the youngster was moved to tears: "Drag the designer out to chop off his dick, and when Chen Yu cos back, we'll reattach it."
"...Yes."
Three minutes later.
Chen Yu's photo also finished playing.
The Alliance Director rose to his feet, his voice thundering: "The ceremony is over!"
"The 'representative' form of warfare undoubtedly gives us humans the last glimr of hope."
"Hereby, on behalf of the Supernatural Alliance, I solemnly call on those within our society and the transcendental realm with the strength to participate in the 'battle to the death' to co forward."
