154 Qiao Yue’s Codena

They drove for a long ti. Qiao Yue was blindfolded with her limbs firmly bound. Trand still thought highly of her. If it weren’t for the fact that it was too degrading to put a gunny sack on her, he would have put her in a gunny sack.

A mont later, Qiao Yue felt that she was being carried over soone’s shoulder. The violent jolting made her feel that the stitches on her wound broke again.

After ten minutes or so, Qiao Yue’s feet were finally on ground. Her blindfold was removed, and the light was so glaring that she was forced to close her eyes again.

When Qiao Yue’s eyes finally adapted her surroundings, she started to look around.

They seed to be in an abandoned warehouse. There were abandoned crates all over, layered thick with dust. Although Trand had spotted her, it was not difficult to see that he was caught off guard tonight.

Qiao Yue was tied to a chair as she stared at Trand. Why did Trand bring her here instead of killing her right away since he knew that she tried to assassinate him? Did he want to ask her sothing? Sothing about the organization?

Trand looked Qiao Yue up and down coldly and then burst into laughter.

Qiao Yue had heard about Trand’s moodiness, but she had never seen it before. She’s finally experienced it today.

“Number 47, top sniper of the Beadok Organization, citizen of C-Country, real na Qiao Yue.”

Trand didn’t go into detail, but since he knew Qiao Yue’s real na, he could have easily dug up anything about Qiao Yue of C-Country.

Qiao Yue frowned slightly when she heard this. It seed that even though she had quickly gotten rid of the person who found her the last ti, Trand still found clues about her and discovered her true identity.

Qiao Yue swallowed the bloody taste in her mouth and said, “Tell why you captured !”

Qiao Yue racked her brains but could only think of one reason Trand captured her, which was to ask her about the organization, because it was the only place where their paths had crossed. However…

“Qiao Yue, hand over the key and I’ll spare your life.” Trand said without sincerity.

Qiao Yue was amused. They knew who each other were. He would spare her life? Did he think that she was a three-year-old? But what key was Trand talking about?

Qiao Yue’s replied dispassionately, “What key are you talking about?”

Trand’s joyful expression turned gloomy. “Are you pretending that you don’t know?”

Qiao Yue looked straight into Trand’s eyes and enunciated each word, “Tell , what’s this key that you want?”

She had a feeling that the key Trand was talking about could lead her to the past that she didn’t know.

Trand looked at Qiao Yue sharply, as if he wanted to see through Qiao Yue from the inside out. He then narrowed his eyes.

“You really don’t know? Qiao Qing didn’t give you anything before she died?” Trand asked suspiciously.

Qiao Yue felt uneasy when she heard Trand ntion her mother, but she could not show it. She just replied calmly, “I was very young when my mother died. I don’t rember her giving anything.”

Obviously, such an answer did not satisfy Trand. He stared at Qiao Yue with burning eyes.

“Qiao Qing didn’t tell you anything before she died?” Trand continued.

Qiao Yue frowned. “Did my mother take sothing of yours?”

Trand’s incessant questions made Qiao Yue think about other mbers of the Qiao family. They also said that her mother had stolen sothing. Were these two things connected?

Trand was silent, as if he was trying to ascertain if Qiao Yue really didn’t know. He then said, “You can say so, or not.”

Qiao Yue’s mouth twitched. What Trand said didn’t help. But no matter how hard she tried to recall, she could not rember her mother giving her anything.

At this mont, Trand’s phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID and got up. He gave Qiao Yue a deep stare, then gave his n a look to ask them to continue with the interrogation.

After Trand left, the way Qiao Yue was interrogated changed.

Qiao Yue only communicated with Trand verbally, but to Trand’s n, the only thing they wanted were answers. They would use all thod to make Qiao Yue spill information useful to them. Qiao Yue knew sothing about their thods.
