Du Xixi quietly sat at the far end among the Food Departnt professors, right next to Miao Miao. Only a small aisle separated them, allowing Du Xixi to easily turn her head and converse with Miao Miao.

But in such a serious setting, with a live broadcast for the Star Network viewers, Du Xixi and Miao Miao didn’t want to get caught chatting openly, so they just exchanged smiles without saying much else.

The old principal struggled with his legs but was helped to the stage. With one hand supporting himself on the podium, he held the microphone with the other and said, "Students, I am delighted that this sester’s learning has passed. In the past six months, we have had accomplishnts and failures, but the combination of both has brought us trendous..."

"No one is born excellent, nor does anyone fade away quietly after blooming briefly. We are the future of the Empire, the backbone of the Empire! We can be ordinary, but we must never give up on ourselves..."

"The errors of the Military Departnt have led our school leadership to reflect multiple tis. How can students educated under a rigid teaching model be deed excellent? This has beco our recently welcod new challenge, not just for the Military Departnt but for many others..."

"Students, let’s strive together, for ourselves, for the school, and for the Empire!"

"I hereby announce that the closing ceremony for this sester officially begins!"

A round of applause followed, and then ca the routine speeches by various leaders, announcents of outstanding students, awarding scholarships, planning for the next sester, and so on. Du Xixi listened carefully, perhaps due to the live broadcast; she surprisingly stayed wide awake the whole ti. When the ceremony ended, she was still quite alert.

When the ceremony ended, the live broadcast did too. The students were to pack their things and go ho next. Miao Miao had already packed her belongings, and Du Xixi asked her chanical soldiers to move them onto the hovercar. Now, they only needed to ride ho.

However, when Du Xixi and Miao Miao got in the car, they noticed soone unexpectedly sitting in the front seat. On closer look, it was none other than His Majesty Chen Yin of the Blue Star Empire; who else could it be?

"Brother, why are you here? Aren’t you very busy lately?" With the end of the year approaching, Chen Yin, as the emperor, was busy summarizing various annual matters in the Imperial Palace with several courtiers. Even when Miao Miao ca to accompany him at the palace days ago, Chen Yin spent nearly eighty percent of the ti buried in docunts, while Miao Miao quietly read beside him.

Today should also be busy, right? Could Chen Yin have squeezed out ti specifically to see Miao Miao because she was closing for the sester? Du Xixi speculated, thinking that must be the reason, and felt that Chen Yin was quite considerate.

As Du Xixi guessed, Chen Yin did specifically make ti for Miao Miao. He worked on governnt affairs until the early morning, slept for only two or three hours, then washed up and set off. All the way, he rushed without a mont’s rest, using the Light Computer in the car to handle so simple tasks.

While the hovercar was waiting at the school gate, Chen Yin managed his duties and couldn’t help but admire Ke Lian. Ke Lian, when handling Military Departnt affairs before, managed to be as busy as a sovereign, yet always found ample ti to accompany Du Xixi. It was impressive.

Chen Yin used to criticize Ke Lian, partly due to their bumpy relationship over the years, but more genuinely because Chen Yin felt Ke Lian was not suitable for Du Xixi.

One was a wealthy young lady with a carefree life, having little to desire apart from making food, while the other was a busy Imperial Marshal, often going to the battlefield, at constant risk. Chen Yin sincerely thought Ke Lian couldn’t provide the companionship and happiness Du Xixi needed.

But Ke Lian did it. No matter how busy he was, he never forgot to accompany Du Xixi, even gradually delegated so of his authority, reducing his burden to spend more ti with her.

A husband who could reach Ke Lian’s level left Chen Yin with nothing to criticize. He had been very pleased with Ke Lian, his brother-in-law, all along. It’s just that his pride prevented him from praising, keeping their relationship seemingly at odds.

Chen Yin looked at Miao Miao, who kept her head down avoiding his gaze, while contemplating his own thoughts. Having soone to love, it was ti to change his previous lifestyle...

The hovercar drove back to the Ke Family. Due to Miao Miao’s luggage, it drove straight into the courtyard, stopping right at the house’s entrance. As soon as the car stopped, several chanical soldiers habitually moved forward to carry the luggage upstairs, placing it in Miao Miao’s clean and tidy room.

Miao Miao returned to school three days before the closing, and after consulting her opinion on 2569, had her room ticulously cleaned. With all her luggage settled, her room beca full again.

Actually, the luggage could have been moved using the Space Button, but for so reason, Du Xixi and her party forgot about it. Only when Du Xixi was sitting on the sofa watching the chanical soldiers move the luggage did she rember it.
