Early the next morning, Du Xixi rembered the Dragon Beard Cake after going downstairs. Before heading out, she asked Jia Yi to deliver four boxes of Dragon Beard Cake to the Imperial Palace. Chen Yin over there had been waiting all along. As soon as he received the Dragon Beard Cake, he video-called Du Xixi.

At that ti, Du Xixi was having breakfast with Ke Lian. She saw Chen Yin looking haggard, with dark circles under his eyes, and asked, "Why do you look so worn out? I’ve just been busy for the past few days making the Dragon Beard Cake. Brother, could you have been waiting anxiously and suffering insomnia?"

"Not quite." Chen Yin yawned, completely indifferent to his disheveled, bearded appearance because on both ends, they were their own people. He didn’t have to maintain his image deliberately. "I’ve been trying to get rid of a few old courtiers lately, so there’s more to do than before. I haven’t slept for two days straight."

Du Xixi raised an eyebrow, seeing Chen Yin almost falling asleep during the video call with her, and said with concern, "When you have ti, make sure to take care of your health. Otherwise, before you win over Miao Miao, you’ll tire yourself out."

"Are you concerned about ?" Chen Yin had never heard such heartfelt concern.

Du Xixi looked sincere: "I am concerned about you!"

"..."

The video call ended, but Du Xixi sighed, biting into most of a stead bun, looking slightly worried. Ke Lian wiped off a drop of oil that dripped from her lips and gently asked, "What’s bothering you?"

"Of course, I’m worried about Brother. He’s so exhausted every day. I’m genuinely worried he might wear himself out." Du Xixi truly felt for Chen Yin. When she used to et Chen Yin, he seed full of energy, very lively. But as the days went by, for so unknown reason, Chen Yin’s workload hadn’t increased much, yet his exhaustion deepened.

"Do you think it might be because of..." Du Xixi spoke, feeling a bit uncertain. She knew Chen Yin’s Spiritual Talent brought him so side effects, like in offspring, but who knew if there might be other side effects?

Chen Yin is now in his pri, yet he’s increasingly lacking the vitality he should have at this age. Though the heavy workload could explain his maturity, it can’t fully account for the persistent fatigue.

Du Xixi didn’t clearly articulate it, but Ke Lian understood her unfinished thoughts. After so contemplation, he thought Du Xixi had a point: "It’s indeed possible. Past emperors generally started to show decline near middle age, yet His Majesty is young and already so tired..."

The only difference between Chen Yin and past emperors is that Chen Yin used special powers of the Imperial Family to travel to Blue Star and find Du Xixi, swapping the souls of the two Du Xixi from Blue Star and the Star Era.

"Alas."

Du Xixi sighed once again, knowing that even if her and Ke Lian’s speculation was correct, they couldn’t really help Chen Yin. The official duties were sothing an emperor had to handle, outsiders couldn’t intervene, only advanced, specially made cha like Rob could help.

The morning’s little worries affected Du Xixi’s mood a bit. But when she arrived at Blue Star University, seeing the students passing by and greeting her, her smile finally lightened a little.

Since there’s no imdiate solution, it’s better to maintain a positive attitude and take it one step at a ti.

"Xixi!" He Yuan was the first class of the morning. As Du Xixi went upstairs, she was just coming downstairs heading to the classroom. She saw Du Xixi very happily and waved, "The administration office just posted an announcent on the official site, and it has a bit to do with our Food Departnt. Rember to check on the Star Network later!"

"Oh? Sure." Du Xixi turned to smile at He Yuan and slowly walked to her office after she went downstairs.

The professor’s offices at Blue Star University have automatic heating and cooling systems that turn on and off at scheduled tis. When Du Xixi entered, the heating had been on for a while, and a gust of warm air made her feel toasty all over.

It’s already winter now, even if it’s just the early winter, the daily cold wind makes Du Xixi feel cold enough. Whenever she goes out, she’s always dressed quite thickly, even at ho and in the office, she habitually wraps herself in a blanket.

Moreover...

Du Xixi sat in the office chair, draping the blanket over herself and taking the hot water bottle handed to her by the chanical Soldiers. Only then did she feel completely comfortable.

Perhaps due to her pregnancy, she is especially sensitive to cold this winter. Even though she can feel the Purification Talent occasionally regulating her body, she still finds it unbearably cold. The hot water bottle has beco her "favorite" these days.

After warming her hands, feeling warm enough, Du Xixi opened up the Light Computer and started searching for Blue Star University’s official site.

Upon entering the site, the first thing she saw was a line of big characters:
