Du Xixi wasn’t soone overly curious, and after open-mindedly consoling herself internally, she maintained a gentle smile and changed the subject, as if the small talk just hadn’t happened.

Visibly, Mo Ying’s slightly tensed shoulders relaxed a bit. She was evidently relieved.

"Sister Mo Ying, is there still no news from Brother-in-law Wenting?" Du Xixi asked casually to find a topic. Seeing only a few photos of Ye Wenting emphasizing his male host status in the living room, she realized that there was almost no other trace, indicating that Ye Wenting still had no news for months.

Mo Ying didn’t feel there was anything wrong with her husband being so busy, understanding of his work; she smiled, waved her hand, seeming unconcerned.

She propped up Yi Yi, who was about to fall back gripping her little toes, then poked her head out from the sofa to pull back Er Er’s little head, who seed very curious about what was under the sofa, and only then said: "The Left and Right Empire won’t let anything happen to him, let him stay tucked away in so corner of the research institute!"

The progress of the era is inseparable from the developnt of technology, and the developnt of technology relies on research talents like Ye Wenting.

The Blue Star Empire has always focused on nurturing talent, so even though Ye Wenting hadn’t sent any news ho for months, the deeply trusting Mo Ying wasn’t worried about Ye Wenting’s safety.

Mo Ying, with ease, left Ye Wenting to the Empire’s protection. Du Xixi laughed, refraining from ntioning Ye Wenting again, instead picking out so interesting stories to tell Mo Ying; the two sisters chatted affectionately for a long ti.

Miao Miao, not much of a talker, was quietly listening to the conversations of the two sisters, her thoughts gradually drifting far to an ancient history book she read yesterday, recalling it was a book about Blue Star.

Suddenly, a small hand patted Miao Miao’s skirt, pulling her thoughts back to the present.

Looking down, Miao Miao’s golden cat eyes t Yi Yi’s pair of beautiful deep green eyes. She thought her unusual pupils might scare Yi Yi, but Yi Yi simply looked for a while, then cheerfully laughed, hugging Miao Miao’s leg, unwilling to let go.

Apart from Du Xixi and Mo Ying, it was the first ti for soone to be so close to her, especially such a tiny human child, which amazed Miao Miao, causing the black cat ears atop her head to involuntarily twitch, revealing her inner excitent.

Miao Miao tentatively extended her hand, and seeing Yi Yi showing no resistance, she relaxedly smiled, reached out to lift Yi Yi from her leg, and directly held her in her arms.

Er Er naturally wasn’t like his brother, climbing around, but seeing his brother being cuddled by the pretty aunt, he felt a bit envious and trotted over on his tiny feet.

And so, Miao Miao, looking rather petite, found herself holding two chubby, white babies, and this scene was indeed a bit amusing.

Noticing this scene while chatting, Mo Ying and Du Xixi exchanged a sneaky smile but said nothing to the clumsy Miao Miao, confidently leaving the children to her, letting the three aunts bond on their own.

After having dinner with everyone in the evening, Du Xixi carried the children, led Miao Miao, and bid goodbye to Mo Ying before departing.

The hovercar, escorted by several imposing chanical soldiers, caught the last rays of sunset cast shallowly upon it, with its purple-black exterior emitting a mysterious gleam.

Mo Ying quietly watched the hovercar leave, her smile lingering for a long ti.

When Du Xixi returned ho with the children and Miao Miao, Ke Lian and Ke Xing were waiting in the living room, both approaching together to greet them. Ke Xing first hugged the two grandchildren he hadn’t seen all day and asked Du Xixi: "Was the journey tiring? It’s getting busier over at that Mo Ying girl’s place, hope no one bothered you."

When Ke Xing ntioned ’not quiet,’ he wasn’t referring to Mo Ying’s ho being noisy, but rather the villa area being unsettled. Earlier, Ke Lian chose to settle there, appreciating the quiet environnt and good security.

However, since Chen Yin’s visit, more and more have sought to move in by any ans, leading to a chaotic mix of visitors. The villa area’s environnt had long lost its original tranquility. Not to ntion, despite its usual secure reputation, the villa area allowed Du Xixi and others to narrowly escape a life-threatening situation, with the follow-up investigation dragging on, making it truly unbearable.
