The assistant looked puzzled, “Is there sothing else?”
Xue Feifei was on the verge of speaking and then hesitated, too embarrassed to say she wanted to keep the assistant overnight. After a mont’s hesitation, she shook her head, “No, nothing else. Have a good rest, and give a call when you get in the car, it’s a bit dangerous.”
“Got it,” the assistant nodded and left the room.

She breathed a sigh of relief and walked straight to the window, pushing it open.
The night sky was clear, and the complex was silent. However, parking in the complex was tense, with many cars unable to find spots and having to park on the street overnight, moving them early the next morning. There was a car parked below her window but, maybe it was just her imagination, she could swear she saw a faint flicker of light inside the car that was ostensibly vacant.
