Since his engagent, Qin Zhizha’s whole deanor had beco much more spirited. He even went to work in high spirits. Qin Zhiyou of course did not “neglect” him, granting him a decent idle position to encourage his ambition. Eventually, the appointnts that made it to her desk still required her own assessnt before deciding whether to take them or not—she certainly wasn’t only looking at the compensation and amount.
Qin Zhiyou had given instructions beforehand, and since she wasn’t always at Lulu, the gathered reporters gradually dispersed. The assistants following her, Xiaochen and Xiaoqian, only worked harder and didn’t gossip about her. Moreover, not many people at the company she was working for knew about her identity. After all, everyone has to eke a living; even if they read the gossip, she wasn’t a celebrity, so it wasn’t easy to match her to the rumors.
