Once the coffee was ready and the whiskey poured, he sprinkled caral, added salt, shook it all together, then topped it off with whipped cream, pushing it towards Lu Weixi: “To the beautiful lady, ‘Love – Human Tears’.”
With hopeful eyes, Qin Zhisu watched as Lu Weixi indeed took a sip. She drank it in one gulp, her lips instantly coated with a circle of cream foam. However, she scrunched up her eyebrows and made a teasing face: “What the hell is this? Sweet, salty, and bitter all at once, it tastes horrible.”

It was surely not unpleasant.
“It doesn’t taste bad…” The mont he finished his sentence, he saw Lu Weixi grinning cheekily in front of him. He quickly realised that she didn’t find the drink unpleasant at all, she was just teasing him. He stood up abruptly: “Oh, you tricked !”
Lu Weixi, beaming with delight, dodged him. Knowing he was about to retaliate, she just didn’t want to give him the satisfaction.
