Recently, she had taken on a lot of cases that Qin Zhiyou had recomnded to her. So were arranged directly by Qin Zhiyou, and so were handed over by his secretary Wang and his project team.

Later, when the scandal between Huang Mi and Xue Feifei broke out, Xiaochen knew about Lu Weixi’s connection with Xue Feifei because Xue Feifei had visited Lulu before, so she didn’t gossip as blatantly.
But this ti, it really was a first.
“Did sothing happen?”
“No, nothing,” Xiaochen vaguely handled it a few tis and then made an excuse, “Boss Lu, my phone is out of battery. Do you have any work instructions?”
“Nothing else, you should sleep. It’s late.”
After hanging up the phone, Xiaochen imdiately made a WeChat call to Secretary Wang: “Gosh, I think your boss is dood.”
I also think I’m dood, because Xiaochen’s call ca first and Secretary Wang answered it. But right after, he received another call from Lu Weixi – how dare he not answer it! All he could do was say, “My boss is calling , let’s chat over WeChat.”
He hung up Xiaochen’s call and answered Lu Weixi’s: “Young Madam, how may I help you?”
Lu Weixi was anxious here: “I don’t know what happened, Xiaochen suddenly asked about my relationship with Qin Zhiyou. Have today’s events been leaked? Didn’t I ask you to suppress the hot topics on Weibo?”
Before Secretary Wang could reply, a ssage suddenly popped up from Xiaochen: “It’s over. My mom and I were watching the news on Yan City TV today, and they reported about a car accident. Our Boss Lu and Qin Zhiyou were on the screen and you could tell at a glance, they don’t look anything like relatives at all. I swear, if I saw it wrongly, I’ll hand over my head!”
Was this a case of asking a question and answering it simultaneously?
The scariest part was, before he could reply to Lu Weixi, another call ca through on his phone – from Qin Zhiyou!
This triple prevention was the most deadly! The scary part was, he had to deal with Xiaochen without letting her know that he was Qin Zhiyou’s subordinate. And he had to respond to both Lu Weixi and Qin Zhiyou, especially to Qin Zhiyou, he must not let him find out about his relationship with Xiaochen.
This was too hard for him.
First, he replied to Lu Weixi: “Young Madam, let investigate first, do not worry. I will try my best not to escalate the situation.”
Then he switched to Qin Zhiyou’s call, sure enough Qin Zhiyou scolded him in a low voice on the phone: “What happened? Why is soone calling asking if I’ve been injured and hospitalized?”
Secretary Wang typed a reply to Xiaochen while on the phone: “That’s impossible, my boss and Boss Lu have a good relationship. I feel like they are getting closer and closer.”
