Director Zhao’s films had always done well in box office, so long as they weren’t too artsy or fragnted.
This ti, regardless of the director, the scriptwriter, or the entire team, everything was top-notch. Lu Weixi said, without any prejudice, that Xue Feifei was indeed better than Xiang Yirou. Acting ability doesn’t necessarily correlate with fa. She was certain that Xue Feifei would outshine everyone in this movie.
“All I want now is to wrap up filming as soon as possible.” This ti, Xue Feifei felt as though she completely imrsed herself in the role, and it was exhausting. She didn’t bother thinking about whether she would beco famous.
“But still, it was quite exhilarating.” Xue Feifei added after pausing for a mont.
Acting was indeed exhilarating. It was as if she transford into a completely different person. It wasn’t anything like the poorly made web dramas she had done before. Huang Mi was different from all the male leads she had previously t. He truly deserved the title of “Film Emperor”. Acting alongside him enhanced her own performance. Even Xiang Yirou and the other new actors who depended on their popularity put in their utmost effort, contributing to the fantastic atmosphere on set.
“Oh, what was so thrilling? Was it acting out the boat scene with Huang Mi thrilling?” Lu Weixi bumped her shoulder, “Hey, was Huang Mi flirting with you via subtle eye contact? It seed like your eyes were glued to him. No wonder there are rumors about you two on set.”
“Huh?” During those scenes, Xue Feifei was definitely not looking at Huang Mi. Regardless of how good-looking he was, he never caught her eye. Thus, when Lu Weixi asked her this, she was dumbfounded.
“Oh, co on. You’re telling you don’t feel anything for the ‘Film Emperor’ Huang?” Lu Weixi teased with a grin.
“Not at all.” Xue Feifei shook her head. Lu Weixi’s words had reminded her of her past with Huang Qichu, making her feel down instantly. She further comnted, “It’s a sha we can’t drink alcohol. Alcohol makes swollen. After I finish shooting, I’ll definitely invite you out for drinks.”
“Sure thing.” Lu Weixi nodded. Coincidentally, she wasn’t feeling great either. Although she knew that Qin Zhiyou couldn’t co due to work, she still felt a little upset.
“Why don’t I stay with you again tomorrow?”
“Huh! Don’t you have work the day after tomorrow?” Xue Feifei was slightly surprised. She knew that Lu Weixi was the most committed to her work, so it was pretty great of her to stay over for the weekend. But why would she stay on a Monday?
“It’s alright, I’ll leave first thing in the morning.” She had checked. The earliest flight on Monday was at six. It would only take an hour and a half to get to the airport by taxi and then another two hours of flight ti. It wouldn’t be later than eight when she reached Yan City. Being slightly late to the office wouldn’t be a problem.
“Of course that’d be great.” Xue Feifei wished that Lu Weixi could stay here until Yu Sixing was gone. She didn’t want to have anything to do with Yu Sixing anymore.
While they were chatting, the doorbell rang.
