As he said this, he couldn’t help but lean in closer to her. After noticing Xue Feifei’s defensive frown, he gently brushed against her cheek, “Goodnight.”

“What took so long?”
Lu Weixi looked puzzled, seemingly noticing her smudged lipstick, “Your makeup… ”
“I’m about to take it off. Because I joined the team late, I’m now rushing to catch up, and it’s exhausting.” Xue Feifei quickly diverted the conversation, and Lu Weixi didn’t think too much about it. “Why wouldn’t you let co in and rest?”
“My assistant and I are sharing a room, it’s not really convenient. How about I get you your room? For tonight… no, for the next few days, I’ll stay with you.”
Lu Weixi didn’t suspect a thing and imdiately nodded. They quickly checked into another room, with Xue Feifei asking, “Have you had dinner yet?”

But, that was okay. She could stay all of tomorrow and the day after that.

However he acts, however cool he tries to be, he cos across as fresh-faced and passionate, devoid of all ostentation.
“What do you think of him?”
“Teacher Huang is serious and dedicated to his work, he’s very cultured and thoughtful.” Xue Feifei paused and thought carefully, only considering his professional deanor.
But Lu Weixi rarely heard her give such high praise to a man. “Let’s be honest, do you think he’s handso?”
