The agent and lawyer that Yu Sixing assigned her had already gone over the contract with her.

Qin Zhiyou would not forcibly keep Lu Weixi with him, as he had at first. She was highly regarded at Lulu, as Siyi’s contract had not yet expired and needed further modifications. Secondly, Qin Zhiyou was her distant relative. Regardless of how far removed their kinship was, or what was brewing between them, Lu Weixi held a higher status than any other person in Lulu.
The CEO practically idolized her. What did it matter if she took a day and a half off for the Qixi Festival? As long as Hanhai awarded more projects to Lulu, she could take off every day if she wanted.
But while the CEO was indulgent, and Qin Zhiyou was assertive, she didn’t want to lose her job. Of course, Lu Weixi didn’t need to go hunting for clients at this ti. Since Siyi’s case highlighted Lulu as a design institute, many people flocked to her, begging her to take on their projects.
Siyi’s case had kept her busy for a while, but not anymore. Lu Weixi was not so arrogant as to only prioritize projects from Siyi and Qin Zhiyou, ignoring all others. If a suitable project ca along, she would take it.
That was what she was doing today, formally suited, accompanying Xiaochen and Xiaoqian to asure the site. Qin Zhiyou stood aside with a stern expression on his face, clearly displeased. For every comnt that Lu Weixi made, he retorted thrice.
On the surface, Qin Zhiyou seed to be stern with Lu Weixi, with not a hint of closeness or intimacy.
Indeed, he was annoyed. It was just a bedroom remodel, a place both of them would live in. Why did they need third-party input on their preferred type of bed, walls, and curtains?
Moreover, today was quite unusual. Normally, Secretary Wang always followed closely. Today, after Qin Zhiyou assigned Lu Weixi’s reception task, Secretary Wang claid to have another appointnt entertaining the model district personnel and sent another assistant to help out instead.
