Eight o’clock in the evening.
Lu Weixi had an accident on her way ho in her car. Although no one was injured, the person in charge was still in a fluster. Lu Weixi didn’t give them a hard ti, she arranged for a maintenance check, settled the compensation, and filed a claim for her and Zhao Zihao’s dical expenses. Because of the delay, she had to work overti.
When she got ho, she was supposed to take a bath first. But she was so hungry and thirsty that she just changed into her pajamas, washed her face quickly, and drank a large bottle of water. Then, she walked slowly towards Lu Weixi, her eyes flickering.
‘Lu Weixi swallowed a mouthful of food, wiped her mouth, and asked, “Aunt Hao, what is it?”
“Well,” Aunt Hao hesitated for a mont, “Secretary Wang called to say that the young master is at STAR tonight, and he has invited many female companions, he will not be coming ho.” Secretary Wang also specifically pointed out that the young master said to “quote verbatim”.
Lu Weixi simply responded with a nod, and continued to eat her food with elegance.

After dinner, she took a little walk before heading upstairs.

The warm water flowed down, washing away not just the dirt and gri from her body, but seemingly putting her body and mind at ease.
