Xue Feifei quietly stood to the side, not saying a single word.
“Feifei, let’s go.” Lu Weixi quickly pulled Xue Feifei out of the coffee shop. As they were leaving, Xue Feifei’s shoulder accidentally bumped into Huang Qichu’s arm.
The bump wasn’t heavy, but it struck deep in Huang Qichu’s heart. It was as if sothing in his life dissipated with Xue Feifei’s hasty departure, and he found that even standing required a great deal of effort.
“Such rude people! Both she and her friend.” Qin Zhii huffed in indignation and turned to voice her dissatisfaction to Yu Sihua, “You shouldn’t associate with people close to Lu Weixi in the future.”
“She’s not that kind of person.” To her surprise, it was the usually quiet Huang Qichu who refuted her. He had followed his wife’s taste while shopping, never refusing anything. Qin Zhii didn’t expect him to argue with her and was at a loss for how to respond.
On the other hand, Yu Sixing noticed the shopping bag in Xue Feifei’s hand seed to be filled with ho decor. After their last encounter, he had heard rumours that Xue Feifei’s company had fired her. Could it be that she had been kicked out in less than a week?
He imdiately turned around, “I have so stuff to do. I’ll leave first, continue shopping, and put the expenses on my account.”
Before Qin Zhii could say anything to keep him, Yu Sixing had already turned and left.
As he walked, he called his secretary, “Find out for if Xue Feifei has been fired by her agency. Moreover, I want to know her current situation, where she lives.”
After the instructions, he made another call to Qin Zhiyou, “Lu Weixi is at the Hanhai Shopping Centre, Qin Zhii just insulted her.”
He had said enough. It was clear to him now. Even though Qin Zhiyou claid to not care about Lu Weixi, his actions showed that he cared about her a lot. Last ti, he had asked him to help drive Xue Feifei away from her side. This ti, it shouldn’t be a problem if he used it to his advantage and get him to take his wife away.
Yu Sixing soon received a ssage from his secretary, informing him that Xue Feifei had indeed not renewed her contract with the agency and had moved out of the company-arranged apartnt. However, her current location required further investigation.
Upon receiving the information, Qin Zhiyou imdiately called Lu Weixi, asking her to wait for him at the first floor’s GRAFF counter.
Knowing that Qin Zhiyou was coming, Xue Feifei naturally stepped back. Lu Weixi felt a bit embarrassed, “I promised to accompany you shopping today.”
“Cut it out. I’m not a 3-year-old child who constantly needs soone by my side.” Xue Feifei patted her friend’s shoulder, “I don’t want to say much but let tell you this. No matter how much you love Qin Zhiyou, never give him your heart. He doesn’t deserve it.”
“I know.” Lu Weixi nodded then looked at Xue Feifei, “The sa goes for you. Despite your feelings, he is married.”
The two won shared a glance, each with a hint of helplessness in their eyes. Xue Feifei accompanied Lu Weixi to GRAFF, a store specializing in diamond jewelry. It didn’t take long before Qin Zhiyou arrived as expected.
Xue Feifei stood outside, watching Qin Zhiyou and Lu Weixi together. Unsure whether her friend’s choice was a blessing or a curse, she shook her head, sighing. Suddenly, an arm reached out, grabbing her hand. She turned around to find the unexpected person was Yu Sixing.
