He thought and acted this way. But with the current state of Yu Family, not being kicked while down was already fortunate; who would want to collaborate with them? Hence, he had no choice but to seek help from this female director’s company. He was fully aware that she had feelings for him, and after gently rejecting her, he still had to pamper and placate her, dealing with her circle.
He knew too well that Xue Feifei and Huang Mi could never be a thing. But today, he had drunk too much, was montarily disheartened and in his anger, punched him, committing a mistake.
