The two walked westward, where the dormitory buildings were located. Although classes hadn’t started yet, many students had already returned to school early, and the west side, despite being late at night, was still bustling with noise.
In college, although Qin Zhiyou and Lu Weixi both had dorms at the school. For instance, Qin Zhiyou’s roommates were Yu Sixing and He Weiyou, while Lu Weixi’s roommates were Cai Yiren and Xue Feifei. This included Qin Zhigu, Qin Zhii, and Yu Sihua, who were all locals of Yan City and would go ho when they didn’t have classes but stayed in the dorms when they did.
Lu Weixi had been at N University for seven years. The graduate dormitory buildings were magnificent, but the undergraduate dormitories were old red brick buildings. The first ti she entered the dorm as a freshman, she thought it looked like an old inn from the revolutionary era.
“Over there is my college dormitory building.” She didn’t point to her graduate dormitory. During her senior year, when her parents divorced, she chose to side with her mother and broke off relations with her father, actually losing the financial ans to study abroad. Thankfully, her grades had been good previously, she had chosen to be recomnded, and she had successfully enrolled afterward.
By the ti she was in her master’s studies, she’d already married Qin Zhiyou. He knew where she lived, although he hadn’t co over much.
But during her undergraduate years, she was still Qin Zhigu’s girlfriend and only felt disgust for Qin Zhiyou. He probably didn’t know where she lived.
She also gestured with her hands, “In our dorm, there were five of us in total; besides , Feifei, and Cai Yiren, there were two from other faculties. I’ve heard that’s actually few; so large dorms house ten or even eight people and they’re basically full.”
In her School of Architecture, where there were naturally fewer girls, the rooms provided were a bit more spacious.
It was said that Qin Zhii’s arts exam marks dropped a lot, and the Qin Family had pulled strings to barely get her admitted. As soon as she entered the dorm, she cried, hoping the school could arrange a better room for her, even if it ant paying more. Of course, that was impossible, so afterward, she didn’t stay there much.
She pointed to a closed glass window and said to him, “I lived in this one.”
Qin Zhiyou nodded silently. How could he not know where she lived? He even knew she lived in the most remote room on the fourth floor. In the sumr, the walls outside her dormitory building were covered with verdant ivy. Qin Zhigu would often stand below on the side and call her out to hang out together.

He even went so far as attending the classes they had, classes he had taken in his freshman year. When discovered, he’d pretend to flirt with other girls, casting flirtatious glances, which only increased Lu Weixi’s disdain when she saw him.
