But after witnessing how anxious he was to find Xue Feifei at the last banquet, she knew he cared deeply and felt halfway relieved. Plus, her divorce from Qin Zhiyou had ironically taught her that emotions were the most important thing in this world. If Xue Feifei could be happy, she would certainly be happier.
“Really?” Although Yu Sixing did seem rushed and not in good spirits today, he brightened up a bit when he heard that. But he quickly composed himself, “Do you have ti tomorrow evening? I’ll have my assistant co over to pick up Feifei’s stuff.”

The matter of her divorce from Qin Zhiyou hadn’t been shared with anyone, including Yu Sixing. But having been close friends with him for many years, like Xue Feifei, he could sense from Lu Weixi’s hints that there might be so issues between her and Qin Zhiyou. He surely sensed sothing off.
Moreover, he was the first to know how deeply Qin Zhiyou felt for her. Despite appearing flirtatious from the outside, in reality, there was nothing of the sort. But as a brother, he couldn’t say much more to Lu Weixi.
Lu Weixi just smiled, saying nothing. Yu Sixing finally shook his head and said, “Zhiyou may sotis seem annoying to us, but he really does have you in his heart. And he has liked you for a very long ti, much longer than you might imagine. If there is anything… I hope you can be more understanding.”
Lu Weixi was stunned. She watched him turn around, exit through the unit door, get into his car, and drive away, the car disappearing into the night.
It was only after the divorce that she was inford, Qin Zhiyou had actually liked her a lot. What could she do now?
Lu Weixi stood at the doorway for a very long ti, until she was trembling from cold, nearly catching a cold, without even realizing it.
This state persisted into the next day. She took her mother to the hospital for a check-up, sneezing all the way there. Her mother, full of concern and reproach, said, “Did you catch a cold yesterday? How long were you outside? It feels like you were gone for a very long ti.”
Lu Weixi shook her head, “Mom, I’m fine.”
Her mother’s check-up was different from a regular physical examination; she could eat beforehand.
However, when Lu Weixi placed the breakfast items on the table, she suddenly felt nauseous.
Her mother noticed her pained expression and continued sneezing, hand on her stomach as though she was in much discomfort, and assud she was sick, “See, you say you’re fine! You never listen.” She then touched her forehead with the back of her hand, “It’s not hot. Could it be a cold?”
“It’s nothing. I’m young, so cold dicine will do the trick.” Lu Weixi brushed it off.
“No, we’re going to the hospital anyway, you might as well see a doctor too.”
