It was Cai Yiren who reacted quickly, imdiately grabbing Qin Zhizha’s hand and lifting her head, “There’s no need for second brother to worry. Zhizha and mother-in-law treat very well, as does Zhii. Besides, who doesn’t make a few misjudgnts in life?”
At this, Qin Zhizha finally cheered up, thinking that Qin Zhigu must be jealous to be trying to stir up discord between them.

While Lu Weixi and Qin Zhiyou’s departure left her unfazed, Cai Yiren’s eyes sharpened involuntarily when Qin Zhigu’s car drove away.
“What are you looking at?” Qin Zhizha had just called her by her na. When Cai Yiren did not answer, he added again, and she quickly ca back to herself, “Zhizha.”
“Are you looking at my second brother?”
Qin Zhizha was naturally suspicious. Even though Qin Zhigu’s previous remark was clearly teasing and a retort, it still struck a sore spot in his heart.
Although Cai Yiren had been intact when she beca his, the thought that she had strenuously pursued Qin Zhigu before and then turned to chase after him perhaps out of revenge nagged at his mind. Moreover, with the involvent of both the third branch of the family and the Bai Family, it essentially felt like she was using him.
