Nangong Mo sat there as steady as a rock, looking calm and confident.

"I’ll just watch your act. I’ll be a fool if I fall for it again."

"Considering how you tornted today, I’ll definitely get my revenge later."

He even took out a book, flipping through it with interest and muttered to himself thoughtfully:

"Can it really be like this? The content of this book is truly astounding! However, it seems... marvelous! Which position should I start with later?"

As he contemplated, he glanced at Yun Ran, but didn’t see the anticipated shyness and eye-rolling.

Instead, he saw her crouched on the ground, arms wrapped around her knees, her head slightly buried in her arms, as if... crying?

Nangong Mo suddenly stood up from his wheelchair, his figure disappearing instantly.

Leaving only that book lying alone on the ground.

The wind flipped the pages, revealing the five flamboyant characters "The Charm of a Man".

Its owner, however, had no interest in reading it at this mont, his expression tense as he reached out to the girl on the ground, "Yun Ran!"

The girl slowly raised her head, her pretty face devoid of color, so pale it broke one’s heart.

Her eyes, lively like stars, were misty with tears, about to fall, evoking even more pity.

Nangong Mo felt as if his heart had been punched heavily, wishing he could slap himself!

What a self-righteous, clever fool and bastard! She was in such pain, yet he still thought she was acting!

"Aran, where do you feel unwell? Where does it hurt?"

Without waiting for Yun Ran’s response, he scooped her up and quickly walked to the bed, urgently calling out:

"Feng Xuan! Household doctor! Hurry!"

Yun Ran grasped his arm, gently shaking her head, her voice sowhat weak, "No need to call for the doctor, I know what’s going on."

However, when Feng Xuan, hanging on the tree in the courtyard, heard the urgent and serious tone of their master, he instantly turned into a whirlwind and disappeared, leaving only a shadow in the moonlight.

Nangong Mo naturally knew, but he didn’t speak to stop him.

He reached out, gently caressing her pale cheek, his eyes deep with distress and tension, but his voice was gentle, as if afraid to scare her.

"Good girl! When you’re sick, you need to see a doctor to recover quickly. But how did you suddenly beco this sick out of nowhere?"

Nangong Mo pondered for a mont, feeling instantly filled with guilt.

Girls are physically weaker, it was his lack of experience, negligence, for not taking better care of her.

Yun Ran wasn’t aware of his thoughts, her eyes slightly shifted, avoiding looking into his eyes, "I’m not sick, it’s just... that ti of the month... You go out first, let Yue Ying co in."

When Nangong Mo heard her words, he looked montarily blank, then frowned, "Isn’t today the seventh? It’s not ti yet, is it?"

Yun Ran: "..."

"Well... it’s not a fixed ti every month..."

"Hmm?"

The man frowned, looking puzzled and confused.

Yun Ran silently raised her hand to wipe her forehead, "It’s just... it might co early... many days ahead, or it might be delayed, it’s not certain."

"Half a month early?!"

Seeing the astonishnt on his face, Yun Ran again clutched her belly, her eyebrows furrowed, looking very pained.

"You go out quickly, let Yue Ying co in."

Nangong Mo’s mood was very heavy at this mont.

Half a month early! So abnormal! How could it be?

Could it be related to his recent overindulgence...

The man’s face changed suddenly, struggling to suppress his turbulent emotions, he quickly walked towards the side hall, "I know, I’m coming."

Yun Ran: "???"

He... coming?!
