"It’s finally over!"

Toru threw her hands into the air, celebrating her graduation and the end of the painfully boring ceremony.

Sure, it was a day for goodbyes with so friends, but there was sothing that demanded her attention far more than sentintality.

Today was the day Toru would finally learn Isshun’s trick.

And finally see herself.

For the past two years, Isshun had always done strange things around her. And every single ti she asked how, he answered with the sa infuriating one-word response:

Math.

Argh!

Just rembering it made her blood boil.

But now—now!

Toru glanced toward Isshun, who was talking with his parents while they took photos of him holding his diploma in front of the school.

Just as she was about to head over, she caught sight of sothing from the corner of her eye: a group of girls from another class approaching him.

’...Does he know them?’

Isshun did not, in fact, know them.

He stared at the group, particularly the girl at the front, who looked visibly nervous.

’...Are you fucking kidding ?’

"U-um... Shunkan-kun, do you have a mont...?" the girl asked, her voice wavering.

Isshun opened his mouth, fully intending to say ’absolutely not’, but a hand landed on his shoulder first.

"Of course Shun-kun has ti~" Kako said cheerfully, then leaned in closer to whisper.

"At least reject her nicely," she added, her tone firm.

"...Fine."

As Isshun followed the girl toward the back of the school, there was a third presence trailing behind them.

Kako and Genzai, more observant than most people, noticed a familiar face...or rather a familiar silhouette following Isshun and the girl.

"...Isn’t that Toru-chan?" Kako whispered.

Genzai nodded.

With Isshun only ever making one close friend since they moved to Tokyo, it was impossible for his parents not to know about Hagakure Toru.

After all, he left every morning to train with her.

Toru’s parents were on pretty good terms with them, mainly because both Kako and Genzai could ’see’ them to an extent.

As in know that they were there.

After all, it wasn’t often that they interacted with people who paid attention to them, since like Toru, they were invisible.

Their Quirks weren’t as overwhelming as Isshun’s Omniscient Domain, but cognition-type Quirks were cognition-type Quirks.

They watched with mild amusent as Toru followed after Isshun.

"To be young." Kako sighed.

’Nejire-chan might have competition,’ she added ntally.

----

"Shunkan-kun!"

The girl—whose anglerfish-like esca protruded from her head—bowed deeply, her face flushed.

"I-I like you! Will you go out with ?"

’Huh. Never thought I’d get confessed to,’ Isshun thought.

’Is it the all-powerful looks?’

Despite that, he had zero intention of accepting. He didn’t plan on a romantic relationship at all.

Won only slowed down his resting speed.

Also, he wasn’t Rudeus.

Who cared if he was in the body of a 12 year old?

Shit wasn’t an excuse to be a disgrace of a human being.

Isshun shook his head. "Sorry. I’m not interested."

The girl’s eyes widened, her expression crumpling.

"W-why?"

"Because I don’t even know you," Isshun replied flatly. "And I’m not interested."

"...Is it because you like soone else?" she asked quietly.

"Uh, no? Did you not hear ? I’m not interested."

But instead of accepting that, she clutched her skirt tighter, voice rising.

"But—but I like you so much! Is it because of that girl who’s always with you?! What’s so special about her?!"

She would’ve been with him too, if only they’d been in the sa class.

She was better than that invisible girl anyway—

Isshun sighed.

From his perspective, what others might call heartbreak just sounded like a tantrum.

Like a baby crying on a plane.

Annoying.

’This is why I hate immature kids.’

’Also, why is Toru even eavesdropping?’

Isshun glanced toward the corner of the building, directly at Toru’s hiding spot, before cutting the girl off.

"Hey."

His tone shifted.

"Don’t piss off."

The girl flinched, stepping back, but Isshun continued.

"I don’t know you. You don’t get to judge other people."

"And this approach is just annoying."

She froze.

"Tsk."

Isshun clicked his tongue and walked past her, turning the corner, eyes flicking to a nearby storage box.

"You’re not Snake. Get out of the box."

Silence.

"How about doubling your—"

Toru burst out imdiately, rubbing the back of her head, clearly embarrassed.

"W-What a coincidence, Shishou! I didn’t know you were here! Haha..."

"Sure," Isshun said flatly.

He walked past her, and Toru scrambled out of the box to follow.

"So," Isshun asked, "why were you following ?"

"Uhh... curiosity?" she said quickly. "You said you’d finally explain your Quirk today!"

"And not because I can make you visible?"

"...Well, that too."

"Hm." Isshun nodded. "Now or later?"

"Now!" Toru blurted out, practically vibrating in excitent.

"Are your parents not going to be waiting for you?" He asked, despite already knowing the answer.

"Nope! I already told them I was going to have an important conversation!" She shook her head.

"Is that so?"

’That sounds misunderstandable but I will let that slide.’ Isshun thought, but shrugged.

He vanished.

"...Eh?"

Toru blinked. "Shishou, you can turn invisible too—?!"

"No."

His voice ca from behind her.

She spun around. "What?! How’d you get there?!"

"Math."

"Ugh! Didn’t you say that you’d explain?!" Toru said, frustrated.

Isshun raised an eyebrow, before giving an uncharacteristic amused smile.

"I’m completely serious."

To Toru’s incredulous eyes, Isshun teleported a stick into his hands and started writing on the ground.

After a few seconds, the ground showed a formula.

"When I say everything is math, I an it."

He stepped back once he finished, tossing the stick aside.

"...Those are letters!" Toru exclaid. "That’s not math!"

"...I should have expected this." Isshun rubbed the ground with his foot, erasing it. "I basically input numbers into a formula... you do know what a formula is, right?"

Toru tilted her head.

"I seem to have overestimated your intelligence."

"Hey! We haven’t even learned any of that!" She complained. "How do you even know this?!"

"Self-taught." Isshun responded. "My Quirk, Mathematics, ans I use mathematical formulas in order to manipulate the world around ."

"...That’s kind of anticlimactic." Toru mumbled, but could only nod.

"Anyway," Toru said quickly, "how do you make visible?"

"Simple. I think I told you before that your cells refract light?"

Toru nodded.

"I just have to overload it until it’s visible."

"...It was that easy?" Toru looked down, questioning her entire existence.

"No," Isshun corrected. "Standard sunlight only fills about 1.4% of your potential capacity daily, which you’d lose all of it during the night."

"To beco visible naturally, you’d need the output of seventy-one tis the sunlight. It’s physically impossible for you."

"Oh... So how is math going to fix that?!" Toru said incredulously.

"By cheating." Isshun said. "Do you want an explanation?"

Silence.

"Good choice." He nodded. "I’ll just force it to 100% instantly."

"Ready?"

Toru nodded.

"One more thing. Since we verified you have so control over your mbrane sohow, see if you can find a way to increase or change the threshold to beco invisible."

"...Eh? Why?"

"Do you really want to have a condition where to beco invisible, you have to release a ton of light?"

"No..." Toru, now silenced, shook her head.

"Then try. We still have a while until High School."

"High School?" Toru echoed.

Isshun raised an eyebrow.

"...Are you not going to apply to U.A.? Well I won’t judge—"

"No I will!" Toru shook her head rapidly.

"Okay then. I’ll count down."

Toru nodded.

"Three, two—"

Without even letting it get to one, Isshun imdiately teleported Toru a milliter forward.

The distance within eleventh dinsional space didn’t matter.

What mattered was that she moved within higher dinsional space.

"Hey you didn’t even—eh?" Toru was about to complain, but the unfamiliarity of seeing her own arm stopped her.

Toru raised a hand, looking at the pale skin in wonder, moving it around.

She touched her hair, feeling it and pulling it into view, eyes wide.

’A pretty color...’

Toru poked her arm in wonder.

Normally, there was a dissonance, as she couldn’t see the arm approaching, but the synchronization of seeing her hand touch her arm and feeling it felt...weird.

Toru looked at Isshun, who gave her an amused look.

"...Can you see ?"

Isshun scoffed, raising an eyebrow.

"What are you even talking about?"

"I’ve always been able to see you."

A/N: There should be an epilogue and then an interlude(toru pov) and then the Adolescence(which is the last arc before UA) can begin!

Also, I made that last sentence sound a little romantic, but literate readers could tell that Isshun isn’t into kids...right?
