Chapter 923: Chapter 923: Fu Jin

Han Fei was actually very curious too. Who was the person willing to collaborate with ghosts just to drag Eternal Life Pharmaceutical into hell?

The elevator car, used as a Divine Spirit Altar, began to rapidly ascend. This elevator in Laboratory No. 1 seed capable of reaching any floor.

“The underground laboratory has been completely sealed, the hallways are blocked by steel plates, and the public elevators have stopped operating. It seems that the higher-ups at Eternal Life Pharmaceutical use this hidden elevator to move freely.”

Watching the constantly changing numbers on the elevator display, Han Fei’s heart tightened bit by bit, getting ever closer to the truth.

For so reason, perhaps because Gao Xing had prearranged sothing, the elevator encountered no obstacles and smoothly carried Han Fei and the staff mber to the thirty-first floor.

“The chaos underground seems to have not affected the surface yet.”

The elevator in Laboratory No. 1 was connected to a secret room full of clutter on the thirty-first floor. Rows of shelves were filled with children’s toys and various experintal data.

The staff mber following beside Han Fei wanted to check but scread when he was about to touch the shelves.

“A child is crawling on the files!”

Han Fei pulled the staff mber up and sent the blood-colored paperman to investigate.

All the items in the secret room were cursed, with a very vicious and extrely covert Death Curse that ensnares one unknowingly.

These curse items reminded Han Fei of Butterfly. There were many similar curses inside the Death Building, but Xu Qin took them all away later.

“Why are the higher-ups at Eternal Life Pharmaceutical collecting these things? Who are they trying to kill with these curses?”

Luckily, Han Fei had the blood-colored paperman to help; otherwise, he’d have no way of examining the docunts now.

Reaching for the shelves, every file Han Fei picked up echoed with a child’s scream, exactly opposite to what happened with the staff mber earlier.

“The Adoption Directory?”

Eternal Life Pharmaceutical sought suitable children across various cities for personality experints, in astonishing numbers. They went through several selections to finally choose thirty children.

The selected orphans were transferred to Laboratory No. 1, while the other children beca disposable materials to support the personality experints.

As he looked at the records on the files, Han Fei’s veins bulged on his hand, his fingers gradually clenched, and his eyes finally settled on a familiar na – Fu Tian.

The first batch of children cultivated by Fu Sheng failed when he entered the Deep World. Fu Tian, Gao Xing, and ng’s will interfered with Fu Sheng’s experint, ultimately creating the two monsters, Kuangxiao and No. 2.

Unwilling to fail, Fu Tian, as Fu Sheng’s brother, started a second personality experint most ruthlessly than his brother, but judging by the results, he seed to have failed again.

A large number of docunts inside the secret room were related to Fu Tian, things that should have been destroyed but were kept by soone with intent.

The docuntation of the experints beca more advanced, and the recorded content increasingly cruel. When Han Fei broke all the curses, he saw the most horrifying scene.

In the discard resolution, so people inside Eternal Life Pharmaceutical wanted to completely remove the age limit for the Perfect Life ga, moving the personality experints into the ga, allowing all children to live under the surveillance and intervention of the Smart Brain.

When humans gain god-like power, greed and ambition swell without limit. Han Fei flexed his numb fingers. At the end of the discard resolution, he saw a na – Fu Yun.

“I rember Fu Tian’s eldest son seems to be called Fu Hong, and the second son is called Fu Jin. Both hold significant power in the company. Is this Fu Yun his third son? In my impression, it seems there is no such person. He is hardly ntioned in dia reports.”

In top companies like Eternal Life Pharmaceutical, it’s easy to find information on internal managers, yet Han Fei was hearing Fu Yun’s na for the first ti.

“There’s indeed no leader nad Fu Yun in the company,” the staff mber quietly said. After being saved twice by Han Fei, he finally realized that clinging to Han Fei’s leg was the only way to leave alive.

“We will soon find out who he is.” After spending nearly two hours going through the docunts in the secret room, Han Fei and the staff mber exited through the hidden door. He had already grasped the thod to destroy Eternal Life Pharmaceutical completely.

The secret room storing docunts was connected to a study. In this age of advanced technology, it was rare to see an office that maintained the style of decades ago.

“This is Fu Jin’s office. He is the company’s high-level director, holding multiple positions, wielding significant power, and his shares are second only to the late Chairman Fu Tian.” The staff mber consciously lowered his head. Just seeing the na on the desk would fill him with fear as his status was far inferior to Fu Jin’s, “There are monitors in the room, do you want to cover your face with a mask?”

“Laboratory No. 1 connects to Fu Jin’s office, so is he the mole betraying Eternal Life Pharmaceutical?” Walking towards the desk, Han Fei unexpectedly saw another God Statue on the cabinet full of expensive artworks.

That God Statue’s eyes were fixed on Fu Jin’s position, watching his every move.

“If Fu Jin is Little Ghost, all his things would have been occupied by Gao Xing. The Divine Spirit doesn’t need to covet anything more, and those psychotic killers wouldn’t need to sneak in from the Waste Processing Center.” Han Fei wanted to access Fu Jin’s master computer but didn’t have the necessary permissions.

As he was pondering, a ssage suddenly popped up on the screen.

“*Month*, *Date*, Thursday, 16:47, the Perfect Life ga running normally, no new deaths among key focus individuals! So key focus individual wills are starting to return, the second phase experint is entering the critical part, all researchers please proceed to Fourth Laboratory!”

The urgent email from the Smart Brain didn’t seem to be written by Fu Jin, but now the key question was, with chaos impending, where was Fu Jin?

“What happened on Thursday? Is Fu Jin not in the company?”

Sitting in front of the master computer, Han Fei’s head began to fill with various thoughts, and so very dark ideas started to erge.

“Hey! Wake up!” The staff mber suddenly spoke, snapping Han Fei out of it. He looked up, making eye contact with the God Statue on the shelf.

The ancient artifacts were oozing blood, forming together to create a special altar protecting the God Statue in the center.

“Can the God Statue subtly influence a person? Who put it in Fu Jin’s office?”

Ignoring everything else, Han Fei used the sa thod to pull the God Statue out of the altar and shattered it.

After destroying the second God Statue, Han Fei could hear the despairing tides from the Greed Abyss. He could now slightly extract power from the Extre Evil World to use.
