Chapter 884: Chapter 884 The Style of the Ruthless Bandit

“Big Evil’s body is still enduring torture; no matter what, we must retrieve the dismbered body of Big Evil first.”

Han Fei is well aware of Big Evil’s strength, and it is extrely difficult to dismber it. The people of Hope New City should definitely not be underestimated.

With the help of Dark rchant, Han Fei contacted those hidden Lonely Ghosts. This ti, he plans to take action directly, using the most violent thod of plunder, so he cannot reveal his identity with the Investigation Bureau. For him, the best choice is to disguise himself as a ghost.

“People in the city are all afraid of ghosts, but what they don’t know is that many ghosts are acted by humans. Only fear and danger can make them willingly pay the price.”

Power intoxicates; once obtained, it can blur right and wrong, turn black and white upside down.

Han Fei didn’t return to the Investigation Bureau. As the sun set below the horizon, the broken God Statues hidden underground in the city were illuminated. It was a moonless, windy night, with ghosts walking in the night.

“I am both an official and a bandit; if I want to survive in this chaotic world, I certainly cannot be bound by rules.”

Black eyes opened behind Han Fei. Big Evil clearly felt the locations of its body parts, which were divided into five parts and stored in laboratories on the outskirts of Hope New City.

Due to its special nature, Big Evil successfully attracted the attention of Hope New City’s managent. Nurous professionals studied it day and night, making it very difficult to take away all its parts.

“Limbs, outer skin, torso, heart…” Han Fei morized the locations of all the buildings and silently watched the massive New City from the shadows.

“Hope New City is severely corroded. Among the Managers, soone is secretly trading with Hatred, and the current peace is only because Hatred is preparing for a city-wide Blood Sacrifice on the Divine Spirit’s birthday! They are continuously paralyzing New City.”

Han Fei straightened up, black mist started to appear behind him: “Today, I am going to tear apart the facade of peace in Hope New City and kick it awake from its beautiful dream.”

Many of Hope New City’s Managers are constantly weighing their options, with one faction seeking to negotiate with Ghosts and Monsters, attempting contact; while another faction firmly holds a main battle stance, vowing to fight Fierce Ghosts to the end.

When New City was first established, the main battle faction still held the overwhelming majority, but as ti passed and people settled back into peace, more and more people forgot the pain and felt that maintaining the status quo was also very good.

These internal struggles are not clear to Han Fei, but today he prepared to give the main battle faction a gift, allowing those who have been suppressed for a long ti to stand up again, refuse contact with Hatred, cleanse New City, and guard against the Blood Sacrifice on the Divine Spirit’s birthday.

“I don’t want to do this either, but it seems there’s no other choice.”

Strange Hatred is approaching rapidly, and Han Fei’s eyes gradually beco fierce.

He first let the Dark rchants use the broken God Statues to lure the two closest Hatred from the Black Building to the vicinity of New City, enticing them into conflict with the New City Guard Team.

Once so personnel are lured away, he can then fully attack the building housing Big Evil’s body.

This is sothing that only he can accomplish. The broken God Statues conceal an unfamiliar, Unspeakable Divinity, which at any mont might be extinguished, and this Divinity has a trendous allure to Hatred.

“Get ready to act!”

After unlocking the second stage of the Shrine mory World, Hatred can move freely. Han Fei waited until the ever-expanding Ghost Creature collided with the equipnt installed by Hope New City before erging from the shadows. He took out a pre-prepared paperman mask, and his body was covered with blood-colored paperman.

“In the future, blood-colored papern are likely to beco New City’s nightmare…”

Hope New City is very familiar with the nearby Hatred and has rehearsed similar scenarios many tis. mbers of the New City Guard Team quickly assembled, and residents near the buffer zone evacuated to the city, as Curse Barriers designed specifically for Ghosts and Monsters were activated.

Everything proceeded in an orderly fashion, except they ignored Han Fei. No one could have imagined that soone could hide Ghosts and Monsters in their brain area and bring them inside the protective ring.

As long as Greed Abyss is not opened, New City’s detection instrunts cannot discover the Ghosts imprisoned by Han Fei, making him a lone wild card capable of swaying the battlefield.

“The Investigation Bureau has several Deputy Captains who have experienced Personality Awakening eight tis. With Hope New City’s population of six hundred thousand, the number of survivors with eight awakenings should not be small. The two Hatreds truly cannot pose too great a threat to them.” Hearing the sounds of combat from that direction, Han Fei acted imdiately: “Delay spells trouble, I need to rescue Big Evil before those eight-tis Personality Awakened individuals arrive.”

Han Fei approached the nearest experintal building where every room was plastered with Talismans. In order to combat Ghosts and Monsters, people employed every conceivable thod—occult or scientific—as long as it could be effective, it beca a direction for human research.

“Big Evil, where is your heart?”

The pitch-black eyes stared at the top floor of the experint building, and Big Evil looked like a little dog that had been bullied and was feeling wronged.

“It’s okay, they will pay the price.”

Restraining his presence, Han Fei entered the experint building and turned on his master-level acting skills. With the cooperation of his hide-and-seek talent, he easily approached a researcher on duty.

The researcher was fully wrapped in protective gear, and by the ti he realized Han Fei was there, a blade was already at his throat.

“Take to the top floor and open the door to the innermost laboratory,” Han Fei’s voice sounded from behind the researcher, cold and terrifying.

“I don’t know what your purpose is, but I advise you to leave quickly. This is not the place you should be. The alarm will go off imdiately if any experint leaves the warning zone. You can’t take anything with you!”

“Thank you for telling that,” Han Fei’s voice carried naked killing intent: “Lead the way.”

Avoiding surveillance, they ascended floor by floor. The researcher opened all the doors for Han Fei, confident that Han Fei could not take the experintal results with him, which was why he was so cooperative.

“Give it up. No matter which force you belong to, you will be tracked down eventually. Hope New City is the largest survivor base, and you can’t even imagine the power it holds,” the researcher tried to dissuade him with good intentions, seeing Han Fei as just an ordinary person without anything special about him, only the likes of substandard forces would hire such desperados to steal experintal data.

“The dam built for survivors has now been hollowed out by rats and maggots. You take pride in Hope New City, but it only regards you as a sacrificial offering on the altar,” Han Fei walked out of the corridor, and multiple surveillance caras aid at him, leaving no dead angles to hide.

“I don’t know if I’ll end up a sacrificial offering, but you definitely can’t escape,” the researcher sighed in relief.

As soon as he finished speaking, strong lights shone on Han Fei, and unfamiliar male voices erged from the chanical caras: “Put down your weapon imdiately! Cease resistance! You have violated Article 147 of New City law! Unauthorized entry into a level four laboratory! Attempted theft of confidential docunts!”

“You misunderstood sothing,” the paperman mask on Han Fei’s face smiled: “I’m not here to steal data, I just want to take back what rightfully belongs to .”

Black fog spread out like the wings of a demon behind Han Fei. In the abyss, it seed a dragon opened its eyes, several waves of hatred tore through the night sky, shattering the long-standing peace of Hope New City with one punch from Han Fei!

“Take everyone who saw you into the abyss!”

Opening the last door, Han Fei saw a crystal core condensed from calamity, which was the heart of Big Evil, constantly beating, yet it also seed like an embryo nurturing new life.

“In your heart… it seems like there’s another self lurking? If your main body dies, it would be reborn in your heart?” This was Han Fei’s first ti seeing the heart of Big Evil, and even through seven layers of protection, the intense disaster aura was palpable.

Seemingly because Han Fei guessed correctly, the vague ghost inside the heart beca exceptionally excited, the enormous heart pulsated wildly, triggering waves of disaster tides.

No matter what Big Evil turned into, it remained exceptionally attached to Han Fei, as only Han Fei could bring it the feeling of always struggling on the edge of death.

“To completely kill you, I’m afraid only the unspeakable could do it, you little monster,” Han Fei touched the eye of Big Evil, and his conversation with Big Evil had already frightened the researcher.

Though there were indeed survivors who kept pets after the disaster, the researcher had never heard of soone petting an eyeball before.

“Co out, we’re going to reclaim the rest of your divided body.”

The brilliant blade shattered the protective layer, and the gigantic heart eagerly rushed toward Han Fei.

“Once the abyss is opened, there’s no need to continue hiding.”

The executioner’s giant axe split open the rooftop, with the black fog of greed enveloping the entire building from top to bottom. All who had witnessed the hatred within the Greed Abyss, along with the experintal specins, were devoured.

Standing on the rooftop, Han Fei watched the chaos spreading through New City, looking at the flas in every household, and amidst the alarm blaring sky-high, he leaped down!

Black fog, like an ocean, supported Han Fei’s body with big fish as he moved towards the next building. The long-waiting dark rchants began their operations, splitting into three groups, humans and ghosts combined, vowing to retrieve all the dismbered parts of Big Evil!

“The eighth personality awakened ones of New City should be arriving soon, but even the investigation team’s strongest combatant, Fu Lie, probably can’t stop now, let alone anyone else.”

Han Fei forged ahead in the waves of black fog, while the principal, the girl, the fear nightmare, and the white-haired giant figures full of hatred lurked behind him.
