Chapter 731: Chapter 731: The City That Belongs to Han Fei

The addition of Kuangxiao to the battlefield brought the fight in Paradise to its last stage, as the Shrine mory World could not endure the force of several Managers along with Kuangxiao, Dream, and others taking action together.

As the focal point of it all, Han Fei’s situation was also looking grim. After Dream’s plan was ruined, it flew into a rage, wanting to drag everyone down in a mass burial. The Poison Scar hidden within the body of the First Generation Ghost rapidly spread. Using this carcass as a dium, Dream started to disperse a poison aid at the Shrine mory World throughout the city.

The Human Manager and I, the Manager, also sensed Dream’s abnormality. The Dream they were now facing was not the mory of the one wholly fixated on resurrection but a far more terrifying, evil being.

The First Generation Ghost, buried underneath Paradise, was connected to it through nurous blood vessels, and it was Paradise that was affected first by those Poison Scars.

The cracked ground bled pollution, and everything, from buildings to living people, would turn to ash upon contact with the contaminated blood. The obsessions and mories sustaining their existence turned into Black Fire, igniting them instantly.

This ability had surpassed the limits of Hatred; only the Unspeakable could inflict such imnse destruction upon the Shrine mory World.

“Kill it! This is our best chance to eradicate it completely!”

“There’s sothing wrong with the poison that Dream is hiding in the body!”

A divergence erged between the two Managers of Paradise. The Human Manager wanted to take the opportunity to destroy the First Generation Ghost and close the passageway, while I, the Manager, thought it was essential to stop Dream.

As the two hesitated, Kuangxiao, who erged from the countless insane Wills, arrived in front of the First Generation Ghost. He showed no reverence for the Unspeakable, his body emanating an indescribable madness.

“This is My Paradise, where they once prepared to mold into the new First Generation Ghost. They injected despair into my body day and night, letting see and experience all the pain in the Mortal World; they even briefly allowed to possess Happiness, just to shatter everything beautiful right before my eyes after tasting its flavor; to achieve their goals, they eventually had kill all the people with my own hands, wanting to entangle with eternal self-bla and agony…”

The hysterical laughter was interspersed with the screams of children; if one listened closely, they could detect a Children’s Rhy within those screams.

It was a song woven with cruelty, blood, and sin.

It was impossible to categorize Kuangxiao’s strength in the ways of a Ghost. He was neither Hatred nor a Grudge; he was a special, deford existence.

Upon entering the Shrine mory World, he may have been only slightly stronger than Han Fei, but given enough ti to let madness spread throughout the city, he would unleash a catastrophe.

Dream, Human, I, Kuangxiao—four “Monsters” capable of wielding Shrine Power, all fighting with no reservations, went all out.

As the core of the Shrine, the First Generation Ghost also began to resist under Han Fei’s command. He could not rid himself of the influence of I, the Manager, and Dream within his body, but Han Fei had his own thods.

Treating the head when the head hurt, and the foot when the foot hurt, Han Fei made all the despair contained within the body burst forth. When the poison spread to the liver, he cut off the liver; when it spread to the thigh, he severed the thigh.

In the struggle of the five forces, the sky bled dry, and the night was pierced through, but unlike in the past, the Opening of Ghost Heart on the chest of the First Generation Ghost was not destroyed.

As Dream spread its poison through the city, an endless black mist poured from the gateway. Instead of being sealed, the Deep World began to fuse further with reality.

Han Fei did not appear as the Savior this ti; his choices led the Shrine mory World to its current state.

“Is this the future you wanted to see?” Deep within the maze of Paradise, a dying young man lay atop the rubble. The smiling face mask on his face shattered, revealing his blood-stained cheeks.

F stared at the collapsing city, his face etched with a myriad of complex emotions.

“Now do you understand why I chose to confront the Black Box?”

A sigh escaped his lips, and he shouted toward the First Generation Ghost, “Close the passage, Han Fei! It seems there are many choices in life, but in reality, there isn’t any choice. The path you must take is a dead end!”

It wasn’t until Dream stopped concealing its strength and began to scatter poison throughout the city that Fu Sheng appeared. As the owner of this mory Shrine, he let Han Fei see everything he needed to see. Now it was up to Han Fei’s own decision.

“Dream isn’t dead and has always been targeting you. If you were controlling the First Generation Ghost at this mont, then Dream’s poison would instantly invade your mory Fragnts.”

Han Fei was astute; upon seeing Dream’s various sches, he understood imdiately.

Becoming an Unspeakable being is not that simple. Fu Sheng knew what Dream wanted to do, and Dream also understood how Fu Sheng would respond. Both were engaged in overt plotting, colliding directly, but using subtle changes to gamble.

Two Unspeakables represented two different paths. On his ninety-ninth death, Han Fei chose to confront, but that choice was just a prelude to this final mont.

“Having co this far, I must see what the city will look like after the Deep World and reality have fused.”

Ignoring F, Han Fei’s main consciousness made the final decision. He released all constraints, focusing all the power he could muster within the body, tore apart the blood vessels surrounding the passage, and irrigated the path with the blood of the First Generation Ghost.

The colossal body of the First Generation Ghost began to contract; the despair and negative emotions that had accumulated in the Mortal World over countless years beca the Sacrificial Offering for the Sacrifice. Black flas erged around the passage, dancing wildly like ferocious deities.

The Human Manager and I were stopped by Kuangxiao, and Han Fei leveraged fate to fully open the passageway in the heart of the First Generation Ghost.

A black mist spread across the entire city in an instant, obscuring the sky and enveloping the earth. Han Fei, who was seen by many as hope, did not lead everyone to the dawn of a newborn sun; instead, he plunged the entire city into eternal night.

“Sigh…”

The black mist at the deep end of the passageway gradually faded, and Han Fei looked into the passageway, where instead of the Deep World, there stood a dilapidated shrine housing a Faceless God Statue.

“Your face was supposed to be imprinted on this statue.”

Within the collapsing city, streaks of blood light flew towards the statue, including the first doctor Han Fei t, the Director of the Orphanage, the Paper Molder, and so on—all the consciousnesses Fu Sheng had scattered throughout the city returned, and the F wearing the mask slowly vanished.

Fu Sheng’s facial features gradually appeared on the Faceless God Statue, and the shrine in Paradise finally erged.

The end of the passageway did not lead to the Deep World; Fu Sheng had simply hidden the shrine there.

Everything within the Shrine mory World was built according to Fu Sheng’s mories from when he was alive. Fate changed, the passageway was opened, but the fusion of the Deep World with the real world never occurred—it was sothing Fu Sheng would never allow.

“You really are stubborn. You could have had everything yet chose the hardest path.” Fu Sheng’s voice ca from the statue, his eyes full of vicissitudes, and the way he looked at everything in the city carried a sense of pity—that was the real Fu Sheng.

“You could have been reborn through , but you chose not to. You wanted to try other choices yourself, see if other paths were viable, didn’t you?” Han Fei’s main consciousness was hidden in the First Generation Ghost’s brain sea, his consciousness was about to rge with the First Generation Ghost completely. Once the rge was complete, Han Fei would no longer be himself.

The Fu Sheng within the statue did not deny it; he just kept gazing at Han Fei’s main consciousness.

As the sky fell and the city collapsed, everything was destroyed. Fu Sheng wanted to show Han Fei the consequences of choosing the back of the Black Box. He succeeded, but he did not change Han Fei’s mind.

As Han Fei and Fu Sheng confronted each other, faint cries ca from the distance.

“The source of the disaster is Paradise! He cannot bear it alone! Let’s do it together!”

“Han Fei!”

“Little You’s mother said they’re right here! Call everyone over!”

“What is there to fear! Charge!”

“I’m not even afraid of death; do you think I’d fear you ghosts and monsters?”

“These madn want to block the road? Let tell you, when normal people go mad, they are even more terrifying than these freaks!”

The ground at the edge of Paradise trembled, vehicles sped past, and dense convoys drove on the cracked earth. Countless people rushed towards the source of the disaster; they moved against the current, along with the most benevolent ghosts, carrying their unique tenderness at heart, roaring out their anger towards the apocalypse!

There was no escaping, only resistance. If the sun could not rise, then we would be the wildfire that lights up the night!

“Ti will prove who is right.” Both Han Fei and Fu Sheng saw the crowd rushing towards the edge of Paradise, people and ghosts and monsters together turned into brightness, charging into the apocalypse: “The path you chose did not succeed, why not try another?”

Han Fei’s main consciousness controlled the First Generation Ghost, reaching for the shrine at the end of the passageway. As long as he could beco the new master of the shrine, everything would end.

And sharing the sa thought with Han Fei was the Dream.

The opponent had searched the entire mory World but failed to find the shrine, and eventually realized that the shrine was right under its nose all along. The Dream, repeatedly frustrated, fell into a rage, channeling all the poison within the First Generation Ghost towards the shrine.

As the shrine was about to be tainted by the Dream, Fu Sheng was not the least bit anxious. His gaze remained fixed on Han Fei, as if making a final assessnt.

“After obtaining the Black Box, I first stepped out of the Happiness Residential Community at level twenty, whereas you t at level twenty-one and passed all the tests I had set for you.” Fu Sheng within the statue looked at Han Fei: “Perhaps you really are more suited to this place than I am.”

The color of the statue slowly faded, and Fu Sheng’s facial features began to blur: “The experiences you’re undergoing now might still contain a pinch of goodwill and hope, but what you will face alone next is the most twisted human nature, the deepest malice, and many things even more terrifying than ghosts.”

“Whatever I face, I will not retreat because, both in reality and in the Deep World, there are many people who have staked their last hope on .”

Hearing Han Fei’s response, Fu Sheng’s expression eased slightly. He finally looked away from Han Fei and glanced at the destroyed city with a trace of reminiscence.

“Perhaps you really can go farther than I did, and I wish you’ve chosen the correct path.” The face on the statue beca increasingly indistinct, and the owner of the shrine, Fu Sheng, seed to have made his final decision: “Survive well. After this shrine collapses, you might be the only person in the world who knows I ever existed.”

The arm of the statue slowly rose, Han Fei whose main consciousness was rging with the First Generation Ghost, was being dragged by so force towards the shrine.
