Chapter 728: Chapter 728: , The First Trickster
The situation in Paradise is now incredibly complex, with so protecting the Unspeakable corpse, others seeking to destroy it, and yet others preparing to reseal it.
Deep beneath Paradise, the “First Generation Ghost” has beco the focal point, with everyone’s fate seeming to revolve around it.
Han Fei’s will was slowly rging with the corpse, which was an indescribable experience. He vividly rembered he was Han Fei, yet countless unfamiliar nas and foreign emotions surged in his consciousness.
The corpse of the First Generation Ghost was saturated with the negative emotions of the Mortal World. The fusion of will with the First Generation Ghost’s corpse was akin to embracing those wounds of sorrow forgotten by the people.
This process was eerily dangerous, with the slightest carelessness leading to assimilation. Only those children who had been soaked in despair from a young age could perfectly rge with that despair.
If the First Generation Ghost were likened to an ocean of despair, ordinary people would lose themselves the mont they fell in, tortured into madness.
But for ones like Han Fei and Little Eight, they could slowly sink to the bottom of the sea, attempting to beco the core of the entire ocean of despairing consciousness.
“Could this be a process that every owner of the Black Box must endure? Is there any chance that Little Eight could be the next owner of the Black Box created by Butterfly?”
As Han Fei’s fusion with the corpse accelerated, he began to try to control this Unspeakable corpse, slightly twisting its neck. He saw that the corpse and Paradise had grown together, every murderous-like amusent facility intertwined with the blood vessels spreading from the corpse.
It was this very corpse that spurred Paradise’s continuous expansion, gradually turning into an uncontrollable Monster.
“The First Generation Ghost is moving! It’s waking up! Speed up! Destroy it at all costs!”
“Charge! Pull out the saber from its heart opening!”
“Seal the passage!”
Roaring sounds erupted like thunder. Han Fei looked in the direction of the noise. Those who wanted to destroy the First Generation Ghost and completely sever the connection between the Deep World and reality, were all dressed as Paradise staff but looked monstrous. They crawled out from buildings deep in Paradise, having lost their human visage, living like ghosts and monsters, but at such tis, they were the ones leading the charge.
Fearless of death, at all costs.
Perhaps in their eyes, completely disconnecting the Deep World from reality was the only way for people to be truly saved.
There was no good or evil, only different positions. Everyone was racing on the path they believed was correct, even if it ant sacrificing their own lives, never stopping.
“Are these the hidden forces of Paradise?”
Opposing the Paradise staff was a crowd laughing maniacally. Under the guidance of a collective laughing consciousness, a certain emotion he harbored took root in the brains of nurous citizens.
The more chaos and despair in the Mortal World, the more people were influenced by the laughing, and the stronger it beca.
Seeing the surging crowd, Han Fei knew Kuangxiao was definitely not dead. His true will was hiding sowhere unknown, and the Paradise staff were probably also looking for him.
Killing was rampant in every corner of Paradise; besides the laughing crowd and staff, there were countless Fierce Ghosts and cult followers carrying Sacrificial Offerings. They all wanted to get close to the corpse and were willing to sacrifice their lives for a single step forward.
Blood converged, and the dead kept increasing, with the corpse beneath Paradise slowly undergoing changes.
The people around might not have noticed, but Han Fei, as the main consciousness, keenly felt that with the inflow of nurous lives and blood, the corpse’s heart actually began to beat slowly!
Han Fei tried hard to twist his head, seeing the vast corpse from a first-person perspective.
Countless wounds covered the body, with massive blood vessels growing from each wound like the roots of a tree, spreading beneath Paradise, drawing everything that Paradise brought to it.
The lips of people built Paradise to counter despair with joy, Happiness, and pleasure, slowly wearing down the corpse, but now what Paradise brought to it was greed, slaughter, anger, envy, and madness.
The most malevolent part of human nature spread throughout Paradise, and corpses not only failed to weaken, but were becoming even more terrifying.
Everyone knew that if this continued, the First Generation Ghost might awaken and destroy everything. Yet no one stopped; once at the table, they were no longer in control, and everyone stepped into this at grinder resolutely for what they believed was right.
Han Fei felt the rate at which his body was rging with the First Generation Ghost accelerating. He tried to lift his head, his hair made of hatred and grudge was adorned with wailing souls, and the entire land trembled.
“The First Generation Ghost is absorbing your Death Intent and Grudge! If this goes on, everyone will die!”
“You are all the Sinners of the city!”
“The Mortal World is turning into Purgatory…”
“There’s still a chance! Don’t give up!”
Han Fei, lifting his head, saw a broken Slaughter Saber stuck in the chest of the First Generation Ghost. The saber seed to be made from the corpse’s own bones and was precisely stabbed at the confluence of all the blood vessels, the focal point of the crowd’s struggle.
“What would happen if this Slaughter Saber were pulled out?”
Looking further down, Han Fei found a large stain on the abdon of the First Generation Ghost, resembling black blood or a piece of Human Skin forcibly sewn onto its body.
The stain couldn’t be wiped away no matter what, and it was secretly absorbing the blood and negative emotions flowing from the First Generation Ghost.
After absorbing enough negative emotions, the stain stretched out to both sides, much like the wings of a Butterfly.
“The Dream is still alive in the Deep World, He is an Unspeakable existence; just ntioning Its na allows It to feel its presence. The Dream in Fu Sheng’s mory Shrine might have already been replaced by the real Dream, that Unspeakable Will has descended into this Shrine.”
Recalling the various clues he had gathered, Han Fei was prepared for the worst.
“The mont I can move my arms, I’ll imdiately tear off that piece of skin!”
His gaze moving past the stain, Han Fei saw the lower half of the corpse, the legs of the First Generation Ghost were wrapped by a Monster filled with Death Intent.
The Monster was equally massive, but its face looked almost normal.
At that mont, the Monster was also looking at Han Fei, their eyes t, and Han Fei recognized the other: “Number Four?”
Number Eleven Joker and Number Four Orphan had also entered the Shrine; as the chosen Paradise Managers by Fu Sheng, they were responsible for maintaining the most basic order.
This Shrine was Fu Sheng’s most important Shrine and his backup plan, which couldn’t afford any mishaps, hence the two orphans were asked to guard it.
But to Fu Sheng’s surprise, not long after Han Fei entered the Shrine mory World, Number Four and Number Eleven turned to Han Fei’s side.
Instead of favoring Fu Sheng’s resurrection, they had higher hopes for Han Fei and found ways to avoid the constraints of the Shrine rules, secretly aiding Han Fei.
“I rember in the Number Four building of Happiness Residential Community, Number Four Orphan once told —he was underground in Paradise.” Han Fei didn’t know what Number Four was doing, it seed like he was bearing so of the pressure for Han Fei by rging a part of himself with the First Generation Ghost.
The bloody carnage continued, and Han Fei’s consciousness felt as if it was being seized by countless bloody hands, gradually being stuffed into this decaying corpse.
Neck, shoulders, arms, Han Fei felt as if he really had beco the First Generation Ghost, enduring an overwhelming surge of negative emotions, trying to take control of this corpse.
The arms tore through countless blood vessels, stirring the night, and under the horrified gazes of all, the corpse that should have long been dead, slowly sat up!
