137: Chapter 137: Have you finished your howork?

137: Chapter 137: Have you finished your howork?

The sound of footsteps in the corridor appeared very suddenly; Han Fei wasn’t sure if they were heading his way.

For safety’s sake, he put all the keys and the motel guest registration book into the Spiritual Altar.

After covering it with the cracked lid, Han Fei carefully walked to the door.

“Bang, bang, bang!”

The door was knocked on, and the person stopped at the door of room 202.

There wasn’t a peephole on the motel door, so Han Fei had no choice but to peek through the door crack.

Outside room 202, stood a woman in a worn blue coat.

Her complexion was gray, her eyes were filled with blood vessels, and she had a large birthmark-like mark on her neck.

Her hair was knotted, and bits of dirt could still be seen tangled in her strands.

“The landlord’s ring showed no reaction; did this woman conceal her aura?”

Han Fei slowly opened a crack in the door, “Do you need sothing?”

“Is this ng Chang’an Teacher?

I just received a call from the boss; he said you wanted to apply for a tutoring job.” The woman’s voice was a bit stiff and robotic, and she seed to be in a poor ntal state, seemingly very tired.

“Yes, I am ng Chang’an,” Han Fei opened the door wider, “Co in and talk; I have a few questions to ask you.”

The woman hesitated at the doorway but eventually entered room 202.

Han Fei warmly offered the woman a glass of water and began to inquire, “Was your child forrly a student at Yimin Private Academy?”

“Yes, my child was very smart and studied very diligently.

Sohow, I don’t know what happened, but his academic performance gradually worsened, and his temper beca very strange, crying and throwing things about at the slightest provocation.”

“The child is under too much pressure from studying.

At such tis, you shouldn’t force him to keep studying.

It’s important to balance work and rest, to let him relax properly.”

“If I let him relax now, he will surely hate later!

Besides, it’s not that he doesn’t want to study, but it seems like sothing has been influencing him.” The woman reminisced for a mont, “A kid in my child’s dormitory is particularly bad, often telling my child so very scary things.

I suspect my child was influenced by that little beast.”

“Told him so very scary things?” Han Fei’s pupils narrowed, “Can you tell that child’s na?”

“His na is Jin Sheng, ‘Jin’ as in today, ‘Sheng’ as in birth.”

“Jin Sheng?” Han Fei hadn’t expected to hear this na in a motel near a school, and he was even more unwilling to let the parent go now, “We parents often actually don’t understand our children, lacking effective communication.

Can you tell everything your child experienced at school?

I will help you analyze the reasons behind your child’s decline in academic performance.”

The stranger’s willingness to listen and help made the woman feel that Han Fei was reliable.

“Yimin Private Academy is a residential school with closed supervision; I can only see my child once every six months.

Previously, my child was always well, but six months ago, when I went to pick him up, he suddenly complained of headaches, and his body had allergy-like wounds that were hard to heal.”

“And then?”

“I asked him if he was being bullied at school, he denied it, but kept begging to take him away.” The woman clutched her worn coat, “My family is very poor, just affording this school puts under a lot of pressure.

I had hoped he would make sothing of himself, but now, to see him like this…”

“So, you still don’t know why he dropped out?

You’ve been quite irresponsible as a parent.” Han Fei pulled out his teacher ID, “I am a professional teacher with many years of experience.

If you trust , let’s go et the child now.”

“I appreciate your help, Teacher ng,” the woman said, her hand in her pocket, before awkwardly adding, “I’m a bit short on money right now…”

“Let’s talk about the tuition fee later.

If the child’s psychological issues aren’t addressed imdiately, I’m afraid they could affect his entire life,” Han Fei said, lifting the Spiritual Altar from the bed.

“Education is not just about learning skills for making a living.

It’s also about understanding the value and aning of being human.”

In just a few sentences, Han Fei had already gained the woman’s trust, and she led him up to the third floor.

Upon opening the door to room 301, a foul odor hit them, and the scene inside was startling.

The hotel windows were covered with thick black cloth, and the dim light revealed the floor covered in stained scraps of paper.

A damp bedsheet hung in the center of the room, and behind it, the outline of a massive head could be vaguely seen.

The body, relatively small compared to the head, lay on a desk, seemingly unable to support the weight of its own head anymore.

The pungent sll was emanating from the deford child who was continuously writing sothing on paper, holding a pen in his hand.

“It’s already nearly two in the morning; why is he still studying?

Staying up late like this isn’t efficient.

Effort should result in real rewards, not just be about impressing oneself,” Han Fei reflected.

A chill ran through the landlord’s ring as Han Fei, carrying the Spiritual Altar, entered the room, and he pulled back the sheet in the middle of the room, dispersing an even stronger foul odor.

On closer inspection, Han Fei found that the child was indeed terrifying to look at; dark blood vessels were visible on his massive head, sothing seed to be pulsating within them.

Han Fei could also faintly hear a voice coming from the child’s head, as if calling him to return to Yimin Private Academy.

“What is your na?” Han Fei asked, his expression unchanging as if he were inherently without a sense of sll.

The massive head slowly turned, the boy’s eyelids were lined with throbbing blood vessels, and his eyes, bloodshot, looked as if they might burst at any mont.

His eyes fixated directly on Han Fei, the boy’s gaze filled with malice, his grip on the pen as if he were holding a knife.

“Why don’t you sleep for a bit?” Han Fei suggested, looking at the howork book in front of the boy, covered in red ink with various nas.

“Are these all your classmates?”

The blood vessels on the boy’s head beca more pronounced, his expression turning utterly ferocious.

“Communication requires technique,” Han Fei said with a smile, waving to the woman at the door.

“You can step out; I would like to have a word with the boy alone.”

The woman hesitated, then turned and left.

“Now that your mother has left, do you know what that ans?” Han Fei asked, smiling genially at the boy.

Feeling a hint of danger in Han Fei’s smile, the boy spoke for the first ti, “Dare to touch and see what happens?”

“Such a temper, but I am a teacher, and how could a teacher hit a student?” Han Fei replied, retrieving a cursed howork book from his Item Bar.

He had previously tested it with a ‘cry’, and the Curse Item could subtly influence a person, gradually taking control of one’s mind.

“Since you don’t wish to sleep, let’s do so exercises, starting with simple middle school math,” said Han Fei, placing the howork in front of the boy, and using the secret of touching the soul’s core, he pressed the boy’s head to make him look at the howork book: “Smarter folks are still trying hard; what right have you to not strive?

If you refuse to buckle down today, how will you hold your head up tomorrow?”

As the workbook was opened, lines upon lines of closely packed text quietly erged, pulling at the boy’s soul like an invisible vortex.

About the equation x^2 (2m 4)x m^2 5m=0 has no real roots.

(1) Determine the range of m; (2) If the quadratic equation in x, mx^2 (n-2)x m-3=0 has real roots, prove: both roots have the sa sign; (3) Assuming the roots of equation (2) are α and β respectively, with α:β = 1:2 and n being an integer, find the minimum integer value of m…
