"The environnt here is really nice, clean, and beautiful. It doesn’t feel like a farmhouse at all," Luo Ming observed the surroundings on the way to the villa area.
Shen Chi smiled and said, "It’s all thanks to Wanwan’s dedication. The breeding farm in the farmhouse needs to be cleaned twice a day. It couldn’t be dirty even if we wanted it to be." He understood the implicit aning in Luo Ming’s words. They were no strangers to the slls of livestock farming from the cooks at the military base.
"That’s good, living comfortably and in a sanitary place," Luo Ming said. Since he was considering settling down here, naturally, he hoped the environnt would be as clean as possible.
Soon, the residential area ca into view. Looking at the villas scattered behind the apartnt blocks, nestled against the mountains and water, Luo Ming couldn’t help whistling, "This is really not bad, comparable to the high-end residential areas I’ve developed."
A sense of pride appeared on Lin Xiaoguai’s face, "Inside is even better. You’ll know once you go in, Brother Ming."
After walking for about ten minutes, the group passed through the apartnt area and entered the villa zone.
Luo Ming indeed felt that it was even better than it looked from the outside. Not to ntion the air quality and environnt, the layout here definitely exceeded expectations. There was a mountain to the northwest of the farmhouse. Although it was a bit of a distance away, it harmoniously complented the villa area in front of them, creating a seamless connection. From a distance, the villas, though small in number, appeared to have an indescribably luxurious and magnificent aura.
Looking at the surrounding greenery, you could see ginkgo trees of various sizes and shapes at intervals, interspersed with white Western-style colonnades, lawns, flower beds, small plazas, and clear artificial lakes. This place looked nothing like a residential area; it was indistinguishable from a park ant for leisure.
Wen Shuzhen was first surprised and satisfied; then, she looked around at the layout of the residential area and asked, "Isn’t it a bit inconvenient to get in and out of here?"
"Don’t worry, just ahead is the South Gate of the farmhouse. The residents of the residential area can use that exit; it’s very close," Lin Xiaoguai answered.
With her concerns relieved, Lin Xiaoguai added, "There are a total of thirty villas in the villa zone. Do you have any specific requirents, or should we just look at each one? We have plenty of ti."
"Let’s look at them all," Wen Shuzhen said. The villas here were large and truly opulent; she estimated even the smallest one would be more than comfortable for her family.
"Sure."
The group chose the nearest villa and went in. Lin Xiaoguai said sowhat sheepishly, "Because we didn’t plan on selling them soon, and we wanted custors to enjoy the experience of decorating and furnishing themselves, these houses are all undecorated. So even if you like one, you’ll have to wait until it’s refurbished before moving in."
Wen Shuzhen frowned upon hearing this. She was busy taking care of her two sons and her daughter, and her husband was occupied with business. She didn’t have the ti to manage a renovation.
"Don’t worry, each villa here has its own exclusive decoration plans available for buyers, but of course, whether to use them or not is up to personal choice. And I will soon be supervising the refurbishnt of a villa selected for the Charity Foundation, so if you don’t mind, we can do it together," Lin Xiaoguai offered, sympathetically addressing her predicant.
Refurbishing together would indeed be good, as it would save her the trouble, but could she see the decoration plans first? Wen Shuzhen inquired cautiously.
After all, as it would be their future ho, she needed to be careful. If she agreed hastily now but then found the refurbishnt unsatisfactory later, it could affect relations between the two families.
"Of course, but why not choose a villa first? It won’t be too late to show you the decoration plans afterward," Lin Xiaoguai said with a light laugh.
In the end, after much hesitation, Luo Ming and his wife chose the smallest villa in the villa zone. It wasn’t about being stingy with money; it was simply unnecessary to have anything larger. The smallest villa already had a dozen or so rooms of various sizes. Any bigger and cleaning would have beco inconvenient, not to ntion that they wouldn’t have enough dostic help.
The decoration plan for this villa had a soft and gentle style, perfectly suited for a warm and cozy family. Lin Xiaoguai brought out the design plans, and Wen Shuzhen was imdiately taken with them. The decor was far superior to that of her ho in Xia n, and vastly better than the popular styles outside. No wonder Wanwan was confident in keeping these designs for future use.
"Did you design these yourself?" she asked curiously.
In this era, the custom of interior design was not yet established. Typically, people only chose building materials, and the real look of the interior wouldn’t be known until the work was completed.
