After more than a month, the construction of the farm had gotten on track. A ring of bluestone walls had been built around the periter, the materials purchased from the exchange store mixed and set firmly. Atop the walls was a 0.6 ter high silver-gray iron fence, chosen for its quality material, and the sharp tops provided maximum theft prevention.
Inside the walls, half of the moat depicted in the design blueprints had already been dug out, and the foundations for the apartnt buildings were also in place. The workers were bustling about in their tasks.
“Mrs. Shen, are you here to check on the progress?” At that mont, a contractor noticed her.

“Let update you,” Jiang Dah said as he snuffed out his cigarette and pointed in one direction, “We’ve laid the foundations for the apartnt buildings exactly as shown on the blueprints. The employer’s standards were high, but considering those weren’t actual living quarters, they wouldn’t take much ti.

Lin Xiaoguai could start with the 25-story apartnts, but the architectural designer would design them as “modular buildings.”
This concept of modular buildings, a term from Alien Civilization, was popular among many corporate groups and governnt organizations during construction to prevent waste. It raised the question: what if there were future demands for more space? They couldn’t possibly demolish and rebuild, could they?

“I have a request: I hope the main house can be built before the villa area. That way, I can get the house ready first and start managing the farm sooner, since many crops are ti-sensitive for planting,” Lin Xiaoguai spoke up.
