Chapter 311: Chapter 25 Mother and Child
“Stinky brat, spit it out and tell what the hell happened?” Before Shen Yinian could react, Mr. Zeng was already fuming, his large hand, like a fan, swung at Zeng Yi.
Zeng Yi seed to have anticipated his move and slipped behind Teacher Zhong with a swish, poking his head out and saying, “Dad, this is at school, at least save so face.”

He sounded full of bravado, but his heart wasn’t as confident. He feared that Shen Yinian wouldn’t forgive him.
You see, although Shen Yinian didn’t agree to be his lackey, he was the boy in class Zeng Yi admired the most.

Usually, just five spankings would make Zeng Yi howl like a banshee, but this ti he nodded silently, not objecting at all.
“Wait a minute, Mr. Zeng, you can’t physically punish the child,” Teacher Zhong protested from the sidelines.
“Don’t worry, Teacher Zhong, I know my limits,” Mr. Zeng assured her, but still insisted on his plan.
Teacher Zhong felt sowhat helpless and asked Zeng Yi, “Is everything you’ve said true?”
It wasn’t that she didn’t trust the child; it’s just that Zeng Yi had used up all his credibility with her.
“Teacher, I can testify that what Zeng Yi said is true,” Shen Yinian spoke up from the side.
Hearing this, Teacher Zhong imdiately believed him without hesitation and called over a student who had co to the office to submit howork, asking him to fetch Wen Jie from the classroom.
Before long, a skinny boy walked into the office.
“Teacher Zhong, did you call for sothing?” Wen Jie seed calm, but the panic in his eyes when he saw Zeng Yi and Shen Yinian completely betrayed him.

“Wen Jie, what do you an? Own up if you did it. It was you who scratched Shen Yinian; don’t be afraid to admit it!” Before anyone else could react, Zeng Yi jumped up, pointing at him angrily.
The little boy’s expression was one of embarrassnt as he said defiantly, “It wasn’t .”
Lin Xiaoguai sighed, while Shen Yinian spoke up, “Wen Jie, do you know why I haven’t told Teacher Zhong it was you who injured until now?”
