Elysia, Elena, Fortuna, and Luna sat cross-legged on an intricate array of magic circles, closely guarded by the other Goddesses.
Elysia and Elena used the shared fate divinity for joint divination with Fortuna and Luna. With the four combined divine forces, they would surely find the path to their aim of the myriad of possibilities in that vast outer space.
"What’s that? So giant space monsters attacking a spaceship fleet?" Elena saw a battle between massive monsters and a spaceship fleet.
"If we continue on our current path, in approximately 20 light years, after passing through the space dust storm and a dinsional tunnel, we will encounter a spaceship fleet." Luna tried to asure the distance, but she couldn’t be sure.
"Wait, do you see that? Behind that sea of asteroids, there are lurking pirates. They want to ambush the besieged spaceship fleet in battle against those space monsters." Elysia pointed out the oddities around the sea of asteroids near the battlefield.
"You’re right. We almost overlook them. They hid themselves with a good camouflage." Fortuna looked around and finally noticed the pirates.
She felt the spaceship fleet would be destroyed if attacked in two directions, the space monsters in front and the pirates from behind.
"Hmm, It looked like raiders who waited for their prey to weaken and would attack at the right ti. So, they are space pirates, huh..." Elena rubbed her chin.
"I think we should check them out. Those spaceships are mostly cargo class. They are a space rchant fleet. We might be able to find intergalactic empires and higher civilizations from them." Luna put her hands together, feeling happy about their discovery.
"Hmm, since we are still in our joint divination and this is literally the future, should we try to discover what awaits us if we help them out?" Elysia proposed an idea.
"Let’s do that." Fortuna readily agreed, and so did Elena and Luna.
They went to the foreseeable future, and sure enough, they managed to discover a higher civilization after helping the rchant fleet. The rchant’s crew were all non-human, the authentic aliens. Thanks to the telepathic power, they in that tiline could communicate with those aliens despite being oblivious to the alien’s language.
Once they gained so clues, they went with the rchant fleet. Their destination was a civilization interconnected by a systematic network, involving dozens of supermassive space stations and hundreds of planets, serving like kingdoms to the great empire.
Elena, Elysia, Luna, and Fortuna looked at each other. What they guessed previously was proven correct. There was a real intergalactic empire!
"We’ve got the necessary information." Elysia was eager to tell Xentia about their divination.
"Please wait. We should check the higher echelons before we return. This Aegis Intergalactic Empire is not simple." Fortuna spread her arms, reminding her of the most important thing.
She wouldn’t have been able to do this kind of precise divination without Elysia and Elena, but since they were already there, she thought it would be best to find out the high-level information.
Those aliens only knew about the empire and the Imperial Palace, but nobody ever ntioned the higher echelons, especially the emperor. Apparently, the rescued rchant fleet was just a mid-tier rchant, and never got the chance to go to the Imperial Palace.
"Where is the intergalactic central network, to begin with? If we show up with ES Nirvana, wouldn’t we be seen as a huge threat? Our family’s mothership is bigger than that space station." Elysia didn’t think it was a good idea.
They previously only sent a mid-tier battleship to help the alien rchant fleet. ES Nirvana followed them secretly from afar until they finally arrived at a nearby inhabited planet.
In the governnt’s mindset, a combat force that could threaten sovereignty would surely be seen as a threat. Moreover, it was just a one-day trip. They didn’t need to know too much because they weren’t supposed to get involved in other complicated matters. It was just a friendly visit to satisfy Xentia.
"Xentia has connected her super system to the intergalactic network. She hacked into the system and is accessing their data now." Elena covered her mouth and pointed to ES Nirvana’s command center. Xentia had done sothing big without them knowing.
"It’s just to take a look. See, Xentia in the future is also interested in the ntioned Imperial Palace." Fortuna leaned her body forward, coaxing Elysia with a cute expression.
"Well, let’s take a look. We need to know whether it holds a danger or not." Elysia shook her head with a helpless smile.
She knew Xentia’s curiosity would take over, and Xentia would be intrigued to hack the intergalactic empire’s network to peek at so top-secret data, especially anything related to the futuristic civilization technology.
Elysia decided to look further as Xentia managed to find the Imperial Palace’s location. They went to visit there with a guise of a rchant identity. They sent a mid-tier battleship for it, and ES Nirvana followed from a safe distance.
Imperial Palace was a supermassive mothership, a hundred tis larger than ES Nirvana.
Furthermore, it possessed many sophisticated yet terrifying weapons of mass destruction. But what intrigued Elysia the most was the imperial manufacturing industry that produced high-tech chs, spaceships, robots, and artificial human androids.
At that ti, Xentia tried to steal data from the intergalactic empire’s internal network, and it was detected by the security system.
"Master, please forgive . I beca a bit greedy and ssed it up. They will soon arrive to exterminate us. The emperor is a system, not people nor creatures, and they have a higher level system than ..." Xentia reported the situation in a panic. ES Nirvana and everyone were in great danger. The attack was coming soon, but she didn’t have enough ti to do a spatial jump to escape.
"We must escape now." The future Elysia used her divine magic imdiately, trying to teleport ES Nirvana away before the judgnt ca to eradicate them. However, it took a few seconds to cast it.
The future Elysia made a swift decision. They should not take the risk let alone make a big ss when they just ca to visit. She just found out that Xentia tried to steal the secret data and was caught red-handed by the security system, but because the danger was right before their eyes, Elysia had to take the responsibility to get everyone to escape safely right away.

The Imperial Palace scanned its surroundings, and ES Nirvana was detected on its radar, bypassing its camouflage. The judgnt beam was unleashed, but it hit nothing but empty air.
The future Elysia successfully teleported the ES Nirvana in ti. She brought everyone to the distant galaxy before the judgnt beam could touch them.
"..." Elysia was speechless. Xentia was greedy and beca a cyber thief, but was caught in the act by the imperial system.
Fortunately, her future self made a quick decision and teleported everyone to safety.
"So, this civilization is managed by and led by a system, an intergalactic artificial intelligence. No wonder no one knows about the emperor. Their tech can develop to this level because they are led by a practically immortal being." Luna rubbed her chin, summarizing what they had discovered so far.
"We’ve seen enough. Let’s go back. This is starting to consu more divine energy than expected." Elena held her forehead as she reminded everyone.
*Swoosh!*
The judgnt beam passed by, but fortunately, they were only consciousnesses in the divination, not real beings. Therefore, it just passed them and hit the distant asteroid, reducing it to ashes.
"!!!" Fortuna flinched a bit, feeling shocked. They weren’t even really there, but that attack seed to be aid at them with such precision.
"Let’s return." Elysia grabbed Fortuna and Luna’s hands, then glanced at Elena. She stared at the supermassive space station in the distance once more before vanishing from there, bringing everyone back to their bodies to end the joint divination.
They returned to their bodies in ES Nirvana, and opened their eyes, back to the present. The future they experienced from the joint divination was truly lifelike, but it was still a possibility that had not yet occurred in the real tiline.
"Welco back~" Rhea welcod the diviners’ return.
"Why doesn’t your complexion look right, Ely? Is there danger waiting for us if we take this path?" Lifa deactivated the formation array.
"The path is safe, and we will encounter the guessed higher civilization soon." Elysia nodded in confirmation, and that made so of the girls happy, especially Xentia.
However, she had yet to ntion the most important matter. Therefore, she beckoned Xentia to co closer. "Xen, your guess is right and there is an intergalactic civilization, but we need to discuss it."
"Yes, master." Xentia bowed respectfully and ca closer, sitting on her knees in front of her master.
"Ahem." Elysia cleared her throat. She deputized Elena, Luna, and Fortuna to share what they saw in their divination with everyone. They would take the sa route and scenario, but she wished for Xentia to consult before making any major decisions, especially when they visited the Imperial Palace.
"Understood. Xen shall follow all your instructions, master." Xentia nodded in understanding, knowing that her master had sothing planned. She responded with unconditional trust, knowing it was for everyone’s good.
"Good. We have a nice plan for this." Elysia nodded happily.
Considering Xentia craved the Imperial Palace’s technology, then they should do it with a proper procedure. The other party possessed more advanced technology, so they couldn’t just hack into the system.
