"..." Aubryn pondered about her own decision once again. Even though what she got far offset the risks, she still felt uneasy.
Initially, after she knew her contract binder was weakened as a baby, she had an intention to try to exploit the connection between them to gain the upper hand.
Yet, her contract binder offered her an irresistible long-term contract, and she was finally trapped into a sche that was more murky than the initial forced contract.
Moreover, she gained unimaginable benefits when she had not done anything aningful. However, what her contract binder said right before she signed this long-term contract was still ringing in her mind.
As the great demon who embarked on the deadly sin path of envy, she often looked at those with better talents than her as subjects of envy. She would either eliminate or exploit them so she wouldn’t envy them for long.
Throughout her life, she had never even thought of seeing her path from the other’s perspective. She should try to strive for the best, becoming the subject of envy envied by many.
The path of envy originated from the desire, resentnt, and jealousy over sothing. If she envied sothing, then she indirectly acknowledged her inferiority.
Having lived for too long in the Hell Realm shrouded in resentnt and jealousy, she lacked the desire to covet sothing bigger. The Sacred Sakura Goddess, her current master and contract binder, made her see her path in a new light.
"The tricks and traps are futile before her... I can’t take the risk to take control over her. But, being the one being controlled is not so bad if she fulfilled her promises." Aubryn grinned.
Since she benefited a lot and didn’t dare to take the risk of offending the Sacred Sakura Goddess, then she might as well try to curry the favor. The benefits spoke greatly here. As long as the price was right, she would do anything as long as it was within her ability, even conquering the world wasn’t an impossible feat.
Aubryn began to imagine how the Demon Queen of Envy would ascend in rank and occupy the 1st supre overlord seat sooner or later, overthrowing all others.
Unlike the other demons who ford a contract with a re mortal, she had a Goddess as her contractee! She didn’t even need to think about other’s souls anymore because what the Goddess gave was more valuable than thousands of precious, blessed souls!
"Heehee~" Aubryn chuckled happily. Considering she already bound her soul to this long-term contract, she had to perform well so the Goddess wouldn’t eye the other Demon King of Hell to replace her.
With that in mind, she hurried off to carry out her current task. She had to ensure the Silver Heretic disappeared from this world next week as planned, including the ancient demon backer or whoever it was.

A few monts later, Luna brought her baby master to the unique mystic forest, the sacred, hidden region where the trees glowed with a faint, magical light.
During the journey, Elysia wondered if what she did was right. She and her Goddess sisters had a brief discussion and agreed that they did not need to involve themselves personally in Hell Realm affairs.
Regardless of what had happened, the best action they could take was to make Envy take control and rule over the Hell Realm. After that, Envy would take the role of the Demon Empress to impose the new rules to keep the other demons in check.
"We’ve arrived. It should be here, the prophesied mystic forest." Luna put her hands together as she gazed at the forest below.
Once they passed a certain distance, the scenery changed from the seemingly ordinary forest to a marvelous magical forest. Elysia was fascinated by everything offered by this mystic forest.
At one point, they ca across a group of ancient, towering trees that humd with magic. The singing mystical birds, the glowing super mushroom, the sparkling plants, and various mythical beasts.
It was like a beautiful paradise, the natural habitat of many super precious materials and legendary magical beasts!
Luna raised her hand to greet the mythical trees and animals in the distance. The nearby mythical beasts simply nodded in response, treating the guests as their own kin.
The scent and mythical aura exuded by Luna, Yusagi, and Elysia did the job of identifying them as friendly neighbors, the local kindred.
At that ti, Elena, Ai, Rhea, and Zera went to Elysia’s shadow so they wouldn’t arouse the hostility from the local inhabitants. After all, the locals could only tolerate the non-human with the pure mythical aura to enter this sacred ground.
"How rare... a moon rabbit and a pair of mother-daughter foxes. Since you can enter this place with ease, then you can be considered our kin. However, may I inquire about the purpose of your visit to this Reservoir Mystic Forest?" The biggest tree in the middle of the forest greeted the newly arrived guests in a friendly manner via telepathy.
"???" Luna, Yusagi, and Elysia shifted their gazes in the sa direction.
The biggest tree in the middle of the forest was so huge and could be easily seen from all corners of the forest.
Luna decided to visit this mystic forest because her divination pointed to this place as the most intriguing land with many mystical mysteries, but who would have thought that almost everything here could be graded as SS Rank, mythical tier, and above.
"We’re here to sightseeing, Lady Mythical Tree. I hope we won’t bother everyone here." Luna responded calmly, aware that there was no threat or hostility emanating from the surrounding entities.
"You triggered no restrictions so your arrival is welco. Welco to our Reservoir Mystic Forest. The outside world is not suitable for us to live in. If possible, you, your daughter, and your friend should stay in this forest." Lady Mythical Tree welcod the guests.
"Thank you for the offer." Luna appreciated it with a smile.
At that mont, more mythical creatures erged from their hiding places, singing to welco the guests. So tried to inquire about the outside world, and so wished to hear the fox stories. All welcod their newly arrived kindred, fellow mythical creatures.
"Wow~" Elysia clapped her hands, sharing the happy, goofy atmosphere exuded by the local inhabitants.
It was rare to see the joyous paradise, considering that in the past few days, she only encountered incidents and problems that needed to be resolved. Luna brought her here to put the other matters aside for a mont to enjoy the night party with the happy-go-lucky mythical creatures.
Even though these magical creatures shared similar funny vibes, they couldn’t be taken lightly as even the weakest of them was already at the 6th Rank.

On the other side of the world, Gabriella, the Elven Valkyrie, stood before Yuusha Mashiro, the White Hero, on the arena floor.
Gabriella shouldered the final task to test the leading hero. The test was simple, she only had to push him to his desperate state and the utmost limit of his abilities, but she had to refrain from using her full strength and the power of blessings.
The Imperial Arena was basked in the heat of the sunlight as it was at the peak of the day when the sunlight was at its hottest.
Despite the heat, the arena was full of enthusiasm. The spectators were eager to witness the most awaited battle between the leading hero of the Hero Party and the last participant of the Elysion Chruch.
"..." Mashiro felt nervous and excited as he would finally fight Miss Gabriel, the one he awaited the most.
The Elven Valkyrie’s presence radiated a calm but undeniable power. She possessed a graceful beautiful appearance of a noble high elf, and she was clad in silver armor that shimred with the holy light.
She tied up her long golden blonde hair into a ponytail as her golden energy wings spread out behind her back, adding a divine impression to her angelic presence. Her sky-blue eyes glinted with purpose as she held her spear which glead with holy light.
Her task was clear. She would test him, the leading hero, to his limits according to Priestess Miko’s order. The Elysion Chruch wished to see if he was worthy of his title.
As the arena fell silent, Gabriella spoke up. "White Hero, the leading hero of humanity. You have been chosen by the Council of Gods. But to prove your worth, you must face and awaken the true depths of your power."
Mashiro nodded in understanding. This was no ordinary battle. He was not just fighting for victory, he was fighting to prove himself to the Gods and everyone.
The emcee soon announced the start of the battle with a sharp signal.
Gabriella wasted no ti and went into full offensive mode. In an instant, she launched herself into the sky. Her golden energy wings accumulated the magical power of her holy spear. With a swift motion, her spear cut through the sky like a streak of lightning, aid at Mashiro’s heart.
Mashiro widened his eyes. It was a killing move right at the start, the deadly greeting! He unleashed his white sword slash to parry the deadly air strike.
*Boom!* *Rumble!*
The impact pushed him several ters. The sheer speed and strength of her attack caught him off guard, and he quickly realized he was facing a far greater challenge than he had ever encountered. The Elven Valkyrie was far more powerful than he expected, but she possessed a hidden title as the Angel of Revelation. So, this greeting strike was only a small fragnt of her power, and more dangerous powerful moves would await him for sure.
"!!!" Gasps from the audience were audible. Most of them were shocked by the might and intense aura emanating from the Elven Valkyrie as it obviously could suppress even a Demi-God with ease.
